| #1 Posted on 21.1.02 2045.41 | ... when Triple H said that he never beat him, point out that he DID in fact beat him on RAW several months ago (for the WWF title to boot)?
Sure, the ruling was later overturned, but he could have at least MENTIONED it.

But thankfully they didn't mention that.

| #5 Posted on 21.1.02 2301.12 | Ok, when a decision is reversed, doesn't that make a title win null and void? If this is true, it would mean that Ric Flair is a 4 time WWF champion. So I think it is stupid to say that Jericho won the match and the WWF title.

| #8 Posted on 21.1.02 2328.47 | Has Jericho not ever beat him other than that in one of thier ppv matches? And he DID beat him in the tag team match for the tag titles, even if Jericho didn't pin HHH.

| #9 Posted on 21.1.02 2337.44 | You ask why Jericho didn't say something which would have given him the advantage in the verbal confrontation with HHH. Let's take a look at the two combatants and see if we can discern anything:
Chris Jericho - Current world champion. Well built, but not particularly huge or defined. Wears lifts while wrestling. Is Canadian, much like Bret Hart. Married to a woman not involved in WWF. Often confused with Chris Benoit. Gives very good interviews that sound appropriate for 2001.
HHH - Multi time world champion. Currently has enough muscle mass to effect the tidal rhythm when he comes within 100 miles of the ocean. Partied with many future nWo members. Gives interviews that might well be being beamed in from 1986, complete with much grunting and bellowing. Sleeps with the head writer and owner's daughter.
I don't think our champion has much of a chance on this one.

Geez...one promo and Jericho again is back on Jakked or something according to you. Jericho couldn't say anything back because this was HHH's big face doing the challenge interview. No matter who stood there in the ring, they couldn't have come back with a 'but i beat you then and then' statement.
And no, Jericho didn't beat Trip for that title. It never happened. stricken from the records. By the WWF officials. You got tape to prove his win? that very same tape also states it was removed from the records. Crap yes, but very correct..
Don't count Jericho out folks. I don't know if we will see this match at WM but he isn't without a chance already.. Yes he will be pushed into the underdog position, and yes he will use cheating to keep the belt but he will deliver. And maybe he won't win it. But that won't make this feud any less interesting.
The real reason HBK has never made that much talked about comeback used to bounce out of synch with the other Nitro Girls. | pp77777

| #12 Posted on 22.1.02 0445.46 | jerchio is a great heel, but sometimes a face has to outspeak them on the microphone. take for example how many times has the rock out done him on the micro phone but what did he do? he beat the rock at royal rumble. loards. there is no reason to count jerchio out just yet. he will hopefully win at wrestlemania against hhh , but he might not.

| #13 Posted on 22.1.02 0502.01 | I agree, faces usually should get the upper hand on the mic, otherwise they look bad in front of the crowd. It's okay for the heel to appear that way because he's supposed to look bad.
All I kept noticing was the size difference between HHH and Jericho... |
