Well not really...

This week's edition of Raw did a 3.7 cable rating, with a six share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is up from last week's 3.6. The show did hours of 3.4 and 4.0. The highest rated segment was the overrun, which did a 4.5.

Not much info unfortunately, but the numbers that are there looked like a much higher then usual second hour jump... The 3.4 is actually a lower first hour then (last weeks 3.5). But the second hour 4.0 is much better then the (3.8 of last week). Making the overall number 0.1 higher, The second hour 0.6 spike over the first this week a positive compared to the 0.3 second hour spike from last week.

The show was pretty horrible all around so I wasn't rooting one way or the other for the ratings, gawd I hope they regroup after the PPV.

MNF was way up from 9- to 11 from last weeks opening week. This week they had an average of 13.55 from 9 to 11 compared to last weeks 12.1... Half hour breakdown for this weeks MNF are.. 9-9:30= 13.0.. 9:30-10PM= 15.0.. 10-10:30= 14.2.. 10:30-11PM= 12.0. Last weeks 4 half hours from 9-11 were (12.0, 13.0, 12.7, 10.8)

I think people need to settle down on this ratings issue in general.

Its clear the ratings have levelled out at the 3.5 to 4.0 range. Going below that would obvioulsy be a concern, but ANYTHING in between that is reflective of the state of the market and not strictly based on what WWE is producing.

While I don't understand the entire rating system and can accept that there has been a certain drop, I just don't think ratings were ever as high as we were led to believe.

With two live shows, people channel hopping, I think the ratings wee always flawed. I find it hard to believe that over 3.0 number of people in terms of ratings walked away after WCW died.

Anyone think they can hit a 4.0 while football's on?

It's not hard to believe. Just take a look at the arenas all across the country that were once packed and are now 1/4 full.

I'd take Matt first (even before the Bob Holly thing) and John as the second choice. My advice? Next year keep someone around like that whining black guy who was the drama queen during the casting episode.
