Raw was horrible last week but I watched it anyway. I gave Raw a chance over what seemed on paper to be a good game. Didn't turn out that way but from what I've heard the first half was good. With that out of the way MNF is getting my full attention this week.

I know everyone says that MNF doesn't take a lot of wrestling's hardcore viewers, but I want to see for myself. So feel free to tell me if you're going to watch Raw this week or Philly against Washington.

My shit list for the week of September 8-15.

I'll probably do the usualy flip back-and-forth between the two. Usually, I end up watching a lot of football and then the main event on Raw.

Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

Gotta love the West Coast on this one. By the time RAW is on, the MNF game is a blow out, so I have no problem flipping to RAW...
But, if the game is good, football takes priority. That's why, on the 10th day, God created videotape and the VCR. I believe Jim Hellwig was created on the 9th day. Botched experiment I'm afraid!

After such an insulting travesty as what we got last Monday, there's not even a doubt in my mind that I'll be watching... RAW. (Note the hometown, folks.)

(Of course, Sunday night, I've got to figure out if I'm going to tape the Steelers/Raiders game or the Sopranos season premiere, but that's got nothing to do with wrestling... Hmm, the week after I have to choose between the Sopranos and Unforgiven, though.)

I'll tape Raw and watch MNF. I've got 2 TVs and I've been taping Raw and Smackdown for some time now. I can't watch live anymore. With all the commercials and the "We take you back to 5 minutes ago recaps" (a worthless time filler left over from the Raw/Nitro channel switching days), the shows only take about 75 minutes to watch. Even if I had only 1 tv, with the current state of the WWF, this is no contest.

This will be the first debate between my girlfriend (the football fan) and me (the wrestling fan.) On one hand, I don't care about Raw, at all. On the other, we decided the Ravens were our home team, instead of the 'Skins. So. Who will care less?! ONLY TIME CAN TELL.

Football Football Football. It's obvious. Even when it's a couple of scrubs like Houston & Dallas, it can be more fun than the shite on TNN.

It's either a lot of channel flipping, or we set up two TVs side by each and watch both.

Unless the Dolphins are on MNF, then it's all business...

You can get the best of both worlds. Watch MNF, tape RAW. This way, you can skip through all the commercials and every time Lawler opens his mouth. Shortens the show to about 1:15 too, so you go to bed earlier.

This is all about the flipping and who's on my tv. As a general rule though if HHH is on RAW, I'm on MNF. If Tommy Dreamer, Booker T, or Trish is on RAW, I'm on RAW. Everyone else, it's a tossup depending on how I feel about the show at the point.

I have DirecTV, so I don't get local channels very well. The only ones that come in with any quality are the Fox, NBC, UPN, and PBS affiliates. Oh, and there's this one religious channel that seems to come in perfectly all the time.

Hey Yo...

Me, personally, I watch RAW no matter what. I can always watcxh highlights. Until the Bengals get a Monday night game, it's still RAW. The show, no matter how bad, still has SOME redeeming qualities (Book, Goldust, RVD, and Triple H) and is better than any other show I watch (except for the occasional breakout Conan O'brien episode). So, until the Bengals get a Monday night game, I'll watch RAW.

Well, in Canada we get both Monday Night Football & 2 editions of RAW on TSN [one at 7, one at 10], so if the game is good, I can watch the late RAW.

In other words, you'll be watching Raw forever, huh? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
(Nothing personal, BTW, it just seems like a fact for as long as I've been watching football, which, I must admit, has not been very long: Cincinnati sucks.)
EDIT: The question now, Santa, is which show to put in the picture in picture?

The Bengals being on MNF is not to far of a stretch. Who ever would've thought ten years ago that the Bucs would get a couple MNF games a year?

About which one to put one the big picture I'd have to go with football because of Raw's sucktitutde.

There's three times this year where Raw's getting taped, but I'll be damned and start watching Home and Garden if John Madden utters "HLA!"
