Well that does it for Busta T.

Goldberg + WWE = T staring up at the lights at Mania.

Booker T beat HHH today. That means that HHH will beat Booker T at Wrestlemania X9. If tradition dictates, that is.

That sucks.

And the "extra stuff" is the Hogan/Vince signing from SD!

WHY!??!?

There WERE two separate brands last time I checked, right?

I don't know as this show NEEDS 30 extra minutes. Seems to be dragging really bad tonight.

I'll disagree there.

I say Booker goes over HHH cleanly, and Goldberg gets to feud with Austin as Bischoff's tool.

I'll disagree there.

Book's gotten the better of HHH for the last couple weeks, and he just pinned him clean tonight.

There is *NO* way HHH is jobbing at WM.

It will also be interesting to see how HBK/Jericho plays tonight. If Jericho leaves HBK laying, that means we'll get HBK going over at WM for no reason.

As soon as the HHH/Flair vs Booker/Goldust match started, I was hoping to see a screwjob win for HHH over Booker. This doesn't bode well for Booker at 'Mania.

The HBK/Y2J promo is just this side of the Y2J/Rock one as probably being the best I've seen from Jericho.

Jericho needs to go over.

That promo was killer (other than "shone" whatever that means). Jericho's my hero.

Probably because alot of people (including myself) didn't get Smackdown this week, and they wanted to spend some time hyping the angle (arguably the biggest one going in).

If Jericho doesn't go over after that, something is seriously wrong with creative. Put that promo in the God folder. (I wouldn't mind them hot-shotting a Jericho face turn after the fact, either.)

And I still think HHH is doing the job on Sunday despite putting Booker over (and clean, too!) tonight. Just to swerve us, I guess.

I agree. Mainly for mania I'm taking off the Smark cap and just going in with a clean slate of enjoying myself, and I just feel Booker will win to give us the Wrestlemania Sized SpinnerRoonie.

That does make a certain amount of sense, but all the same, you had Velocity, that 3rd Degree show, Bottom Line, plus the Wrestlemania press junket to hype it up.

And if this is the biggest match at WM. . .woof. Someone fucked up big time if the only interest in the PPV(and I haven't been getting too much interest from the people I've talked to) is generated by a wrestler on his 38th retirement tour and an owner.

RAW needs all the help it possible can get hyping stuff for its side. It doesn't need to schlep this crap match instead. This had been one of my biggest problems with RAW since the split--they waste too much damn time on superfluous stuff.

Just to point out: I think part of the rationale behind showing the Hogan/Vince stuff again was the fact that SD got preempted everywhere by war coverage...

The Y2J/HBK interview was easily one of the best I've seen in years. Here's hoping there's a decent match to follow. If I catch the show, that's gonna be the match I'd be most interested in.

. . .but it got replayed in its entirety on every single WWE show following it. It even had an entire show dedicated to it. The only thing I've heard more than "Hogan/McMahon" this weekend is "Shock and Awe."

I really hope this isn't pulling in most of the WM buys. The possibility that McMahon has made himself the top draw in his own company is chilling.

And the HBK/Y2J promo WAS awesome. Highlight of the night so far. Y2J always seems to bring the drama when it comes to the promos. And thank God he trimmed that goatee.

I was more thinking that it's nicer not seeing that red dye on the end of his hair. The bushy beard kind of made him look goofy too. The clean-shaven look and the serious promo did wonders for the show quality.

I'd love to see Y2J go face after Wrestlemania. I think his heel persona is getting stale. I really liked his promo tonight, and it didn't end in his usual juvenile heel tactics, which was sweet.

He was getting some of the biggest pops of anyone in the company when he was a face in 2000-01. I liked him better as a face.

An odd thought struck me while watching the RAW overrun. I think that Stephanie McMahon is pregnant. It could explain the gradual weight gain, the big(ger) breasts, that glow she seems to have and the change in her voice.

Roids or no roids, looks like Helmsley’s boys can swim.

Speaking of which, HHH looks less bulky. Could it be that he went off the juice before conceiving the baby? I know Hogan did the same thing for his kid.

If it’s true, you heard it here first.

Edit: here's more ammo: On OTR today (taped a few weeks ago), HBK said that the advice he'd give HHH is to take care of his family and make sure he has his priorities right.
