|  #1 Posted on 1.4.03 1726.20 | I would love to see WWE bring back the IC belt. Raw has alot of talanted mid-card wrestlers and I would love to see them fued. They've got Chris Nowinski, Lance Storm, Hurricane, Stevie Richards, Test, Chief Morley, Randy Orton(when healthy), Jeff Hardy, Al Snow(?) RVD, Christian, Kane, and Maven. They could work some nice angles and have them mean something with a belt available, instead of just being jobbers for the upper-card guys between fueds. Used right, it will make them more marketable(Product sales) and it will add more to house shows. If the WWE hypes them more it would add intrest in them fighting upper-card guys as well, a couple of weeks ago Christian pulled a good match out of Steiner(imagine if Christian had more heat from a mid-card fued?).

The US Title for Raw (to go with the Big Gold Belt) and the IC Title for Smackdown (have Steph fish it out of a dumpster...)

That would be great for the two (maybe 3) people at any given time who would be feuding over a belt. Still, that wouldn't solve the problem of the writers seemingly not putting a lot of thought into other mid-card feuds. As we all know, there can be other reasons than titles for wrestlers to feud but the writers don't seem to spend a lot of time on those things. Pride, envy, love, hate, really any emotion or feeling could be the starting off point for conflict. Now, if we had solid, coherent, consistent story-telling and then added the titles. . . It really shows in pointlessness of most of the midcard these days. I don't think we need 112 titles like there were during Invasion, but one midcard belt for each show would be just what the doctor ordered.

Yes, I hated during the Invasion when everyone had a belt, and it was to over the top. I would love to see a
mid-card belt for each show and some better writing for
the mid-carders as well. I think it's one reason the ratings are down, the shows(RAW more than Smackdown) have
alot of filler and need more killer.

They don't push the tag titles very hard, and HHH apparently will never give up his belt. The only titles that are given attention are the Smackdown champ belt and the women's belt. I think it's stupid, as there is no incentive for any of the feuds we see. Why should we care if Jeff Hardy's "conflicted', what the hell is he supposed to be conflicted about?
