From 411wrestling.com

-Triple H & Ric Flair vs. RVD & Kane
-Chris Jericho, Christian, & Victoria vs. Booker T, Goldust, & Trish Stratus
-Al Snow vs. Tommy Dreamer - Singapore Cane Match
-Jeff Hardy vs. Christopher Nowinski
-Shawn Michaels speaks live from The World

Do any of these matches make you rush to the TV at 9 pm? And doesn't it seem lazy that they are just combining 2 matches from the PPV to make one in TWO instances?

By the way, Storm's gimmick includes 1.) telling the audience to shut up, and 2.) occasionally making everyone stand for the Canadian national anthem. You know they don't know what to do with a wrestler when he's making fans stand for a national anthem. It's like waving a white flag and saying, "This guy has no personality -- we give up."

Not too much, but it beats anything else that's on...

And doesn't it seem lazy that they are just combining 2 matches from the PPV to make one in TWO instances?
They do that ALL the time...

Now, let's see how I can pick them THIS week:

    Al Snow/Tommy Dreamer(Singapore Cane Match)
-Strange, I thought the Hardcore division was dead. Since Al caused Dreamer to lose to Nowinski, I'm expecting to see Al win(with possible help from Nowinski), to continue the feud.
    WINNER: Al Snow

    Jeff Hardy/Christopher Nowinski
    - Ugh, I can't be the only one tired of Jeff Flaming Hardy...I see Nowinski getting this one, through some shenanigans, he's been on the losing end for a while now.
    WINNER: Christopher Nowinski

Shawn Michaels Interview: I could HOPE that this will be the start of him coming back, after selling the SLEDGEHAMMER OF DOOM shot.

Chris Jericho, Christian, Victoria/Booker T, Goldust, Trish Stratus
    - Wow, an intergender clusterf@ck. Color me suprised. It will probably come down to the women, as the men will spill it to the outside...so, since Victoria lost, I expect to see her cheat and win this one, to continue that pointless feud.
WINNERS: CHRIS JERICHO, CHRISTIAN, and VICTORIA

    HHH,Ric Flair/RVD,Kane
    - this one will be ugly, which means that HHH will most likely pin RVD AGAIN...dammit. Of course, it SHOULD be the other way around to further the feud, and set RVD up for a title run, but NO ONE GOES OVER The Game-uh...
    WINNERS: HHH, Ric Flair

Damn, I hope I'm wrong on the Main Event. But HHH has never done much to make his opponents look strong since his return, except for buddy HBK...

    That's just my 2 cents.

I'd like to see RVD turn on Kane and join up with HHH and Flair to start rebuilding the Horseman. I know he beat Flair last night, but maybe they'll say it impressed them so much they offered him a prime spot. Just hoping. It could lead to some good Booker T. main events down the line.

I'm sure we'll have more on the murder angle tonight too. At this point, I would actually rather watch Big Show plod around than the crap they're forcing down my throat.

Am I the only one that last week, got the vibe that they're setting up a Snow/Nowinski alliance, rather than a rivalry? I was getting the "student proves himself to master who misjudged him vibe". When Snow grabbed Dreamer's cane, I got the feeling he was wanting Chris Harvard to "prove" himself to Snow by winning a straight match. Especially since Snow jobbed earlier; he may have really been doubting himself and wondering if he was wrong about Harvard. This would work best if, whenever Maven's ready to return, they find a way to get him onto RAW. Then, at some point Snow turns on Maven and joins up with Nowinski. Was I the only one that saw this? Or is it a given that they're feuding?

Al Snow will never be an effective heel. Don't even try it.

RVD as a heel would be a complete disaster. Why? No one wants it.

And if we see more Katie Vick stuff tonight... I have an axe I'd be happy to lend out.

I kinda liked Snow's brush with main event heeldom in late '99, when he had a feudlet with the Rock. His gimmick then -- the guy who resented having wasted 17 years of his life on ungrateful fans -- had the ring of truth to it, which was more than you can say of most WWE angles these days. But I can't see Snow playing heel now when they're already showing a mostly sympathetic snow on Tough Enough.

Still, that's the only thing that might get me interested in these matches -- to see where they're going with the Snow/Dreamer/Nowinski angle. And what does it say about this roster when what I'm most interested in is two ECW leftovers and a guy who's greener than the Lucky Charms mascot?

As for RVD/HHH/Kane/Flair, I'm going to buck opinion and say HHH eats the (essentially meaningless) pin from Kane so he can "return the job" from last night. And then Kane will be shuffled back to the upper midcard.

RVD as a heel -- can he even play a heel? Didn't he try it during the Invasion? I'm not too familiar with his ECW run -- did he ever play the heel over there?

He was a heel (see Mr. Monday Night days). But he had Fonzie doing the talking/whistle blowing.

I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

I have to agree with everyone here, that even though I can get both Raw and Smackdown (thanks, Comcast), it's more and more obvious that Raw's improving by leaps and bounds compared to Smackdown. Look no further than Kane for the big proof.
