ROCKERS REUNITE! ROCKERS REUNITE!!

Markout moment for me.

Anyone catch the interview diva getting beaten down, trying not to grin, then they cut to Snitsky, who also grinned during a moment on RAW one time before? Surreal

Oh yeah, Angle's WM commercial was the funniest one I've ever seen. I was just rolling!

JAKE THE SNAKE!! YEAH!!!

Shelton Benjamin may have done one of the prettiest sets of moves I've seen on Raw in a long, long time ... and it didn't even get the double feature treatment.

I thought Jake would be the LAST person to show up on WWE. I'm surprised they gave him a live mic. I was hoping for a DDT (or at least a snake appearance), but his cameo was good enough. I'm surprised they put Orton in a position where he may have seemed heelish (being Jake's home-state and legend= big face usually). I knew Jake looked bad (see "Beyond the Mat") but you could barely understand what he was saying....

Man, they just refuse to put Christian over, even in a 2 on 1 situation....I thought the Shelton/Edge match was VERY good, especially one sequence toward the end (when Shelton hopped up on the top rope after a feigned splash)....The Fuckin' Rockers man. 'Nuff said, although I thought they would've saved Marty's return for Smackdown!, as even many people here were excited about seeing him for the first time in years....

A good Benoit/Trips match, but not ME? I guess I understood after the ME angle they ran tonight....ANOTHER great WM movie spoof. And Linda McMahon? Priceless....Well, Batista/Snitsky wasn't embarrassing. Though JR having to do the hype for next week twice was.

Tonight I watched a wrestling program for the first time in about 4 years and it was pretty entertaining. Seeing Jake the Snake getting jobbed out (and wondering if he was high) was a great opener.

One moment that stretched all kinds of credibility was when Benoit took HHH to the woodshed for 15 minutes with umpteen suplexes...and then HHH does his crappy low-impact piledriver and its all over? I mean, if you're going to have a nuclear finisher, how about one that isn't on par with the Leg Drop Of Doom?

Jake Roberts should be the poster-boy for what coke can do to a person. Was there even a snake in that bag?

As I was watching the Rockers/La Resistance, I came to a conclusion: Jannety looks NOTHING like CRZ. What were all the jokes about? Jannety DOES look good, though...

When Trish threw Maria around backstage, Maria ended up lying on the floor, covered in liquor and making near-orgasmic cries. As I was staring at this scene intently, we suddenly cut to an extreme close-up of Snitsky, followed by Flair talking to Snitsky's spotted man-boobs. Talk about a buzzkill.

Christy looks nice in a white tanktop.

Overall, tonight's RAW was excellent.

Was it just me or was that a really great Raw?

Seeing Jake the Snake was almost surreal, and even though he sounded a little rought, I thought that promo was just fantastic. Orton held up his end, too. That was just a great setup for the Taker-Orton match at Mania.

The Rockers reuniting was really cool and I thought Jannetty looked pretty good in there for an "old man." I was kind of expecting an angle there for some reason, but that was another great surprise.

Triple H vs Benoit was a fine match, one of the best Raw singles matches in recent memory. I liked that Benoit got the Lion's Share of the offense even though he lost the match.

The Flair/Snitsky interaction was beyond fantastic. Gene's facials...and Ric's facials. Wow.

The only thing...Why did they have to put Batista in there with Big Gene? Bad move.

EDIT: Oh man, how could I forget the other great stuff on this show. LIke Shelton Benjamin busting out some swank~! moves against Edge in a really good match. Or like how Maria's selling involved her faking an orgasm? Or that great parody, which was great by the way. "TAP, TAP, TAP!!" Wow, what a show that was.

I'm not really sure where to start...talk about a bringing back some nostalgia.

I missed Jake, lucky for VCRs still being around because I'm still not the latest technology, yet it looks as if I didn't miss to much.

THE ROCKERS!!! Ok, that was better than the one night reunion of DX!

Shelton with an assist over Edge! Whoo, Fantasy points!

Trips destroys Benoit...pout.

Batista!!! Keeping strong going into WM.

Anyways, I REALLY truly enjoyed this RAW! Entertained to the fullest extent!

That snitsky pic is my wallpaper now.
I knew Marty would look good, I told you guys! I knew if they played the Rocker music I would mark like crazy.
Maria didn't sound like she was in pain, she sounded like she uh...um...The Christy-Angle WM 21 promo was the best so far, but dang Linda can't even make one line sound good.
I have nothing of positive nature to say of Jake Roberts...he's depressing really.
Shelton is the man. Plan and simple.
EDIT:It might not have been a one night apperance after all:

Am I alone in getting a real kick out of the Batista/Flair segment?

It was like Dave was a kid and Flair was his old rambling grandpa. Dave struggles to prevent himself from laughing in his face while Flair paddles down the river of senility.

PS - I want a Shelton/Edge program.

Why did WWE hire David Crosby to pose as Jake "The Snake" Roberts? All kidding aside, I can see why they didn't hire the Snake to be a JR during the post-Survivor Series Bischoff vacation Raws when Coach faced JR, only to find out the initials stood for RKO "The J is silent" and Just Rhyno.

I could almost see Jannetty looking good enough that someone decides to turn a one week thing into Angle snapping Jannetty's ankle, only for it to be a ruse with jealous Marty using his cast as a foreign object when standing in HBK's corner at Wrestlemania, except I can't figure out what they would do with Jannetty after that.

Was Benoit pretty much as protected as you can protect someone in a job?

Prediction: Batista vs. Kane ends up with run-ins from HHH/Flair, Christian/Tomko, and the rest of the 6-way match.

Are we going to get a sacrificial diva for Christy Hemme in a warm-up match? Which means...Molly? Or do we get a bunch of comedy backstage skits?

Man, I decided not to watch tonight figuring Raw was going to be boring like usual. Then it turns out to be a great show! Grr...

That picture is of Jake the Snake? Wow. When I first saw it i thought Orton hand gotten an ugly, balding, Undertaker impersonator to make fun of.

They really pulled out a good one tonight. A couple of excellent matches, even better surprises.

If Janetty's match tonight was a tryout of sorts, he nailed it. He and Michaels really did look like they'd never been apart. Those two put on a clinic displaying what tag teams SHOULD be in the ring.

Jake the Snake on RAW. I have truly seen it all. He made ME look like I'm in decent shape. But once he got rolling, that was a great promo in a "crazy old man" kind of way.

Speaking of crazy old men, Flair going off on Batista was awesome. Batista just standing there being cool about it was equally awesome.

I couldn't decide if Maria was faking an orgrasm or a miscarriage.

So are Lita and Kane NOT married now, or...?

Really suprised to see Jake on the show, but it turned into a good segment. They seem to be hinting at a heel-turn for Orton, and I'm not complaining because I think he was much better in that role.

I must say that Janetty looked pretty damn good in the ring. Seriously, I don't think it'd hurt if they actually picked this guy up. He'd have nothing to do on RAW, but it couldn't hurt to add him to the delapitated SmackDown roster.

These past two weeks have really proven how great Shelton really is. The man just improves every week.

WOW.

Start off Raw with Jericho bringing out Jake The Snake...only to top that off by not only the Marty/Shawn reunion, but a tag match to boot. Nostalgia at its finest. Then you add Stone Cold, Piper, Hogan, and the rest of the HOF inductees...this could be one of the most nostalgic WMs of all time.

Probably the worst WM movie sketch yet, although Linda's brief cameo totally made that whole commercial.

No major gripes about the matches, with the exception of HHH/Benoit. Trips goes from being pounded by Benoit in one corner "only up because Benoit was keeping him up", to the next minute reversing an Irish Whip into the opposing turnbuckle. Kinda killed it for me.

They gotta do something with Randy. Make him a heel again, or keep him face, but make it clear...because I have a feeling a lot of people just aren't sure what to make of it. I know I sure don't.

I'm not getting the fauning over Marty. The biggest moves he did were a dropkick and managing to not break someone's neck with the Rocker Dropper.

Trips destroys Benoit...pout.

What match were you watching?

If you were to tell a fan 15 years ago that a wrestling show would feature Jake the Snake Roberts giving Orton advice on beating the Undertaker, the Rockers Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels facing a Gulf War-gimmick tag team, and a parody of When Harry Met Sally, he would think you were talking about a card for next month.

Ironically, it feels like it's been that long since we've had an entertaining Raw like tonight.

Well, I can make a hat... or a brooch... or a pterodactyl...

I was pretty soundly asleep in front of Spike until halfway through the Jake segment. Needless to say, it took me a few miuntes to figure out what the hell I was looking that. I'm usually pretty disoriented anyway, but this was extra strange.

And bonus Marty. It looks like he has his head on straight, and that's always a good thing. Was it just me, Or did Shawn *not quite* get the doublke elbowdrop double nipup spot?

Pretty solid show, I thought. Unspectacular, but solid's a start.
