| #6 Posted on 11.6.07 2215.06 | Instant Rating: 4.71 | Well, I was ABOUT to say, "Wow, Raw sure went out with a bang!" But Justin's joke works so much better. I almost want to say this was the extreme opposite of the Sopranos ending. I waited and waited for the big ending...and ended up getting TOO MUCH and so over the top to the point that was unsatisfying and laughable. I know everyone wanted Vince killed off, but did they literally have to "kill" him off?
In draft thoughts, why why WHY was seemingly every upper mid-carder sent to Raw? Lashley, Booker, and Kennedy are gonna get lost in the shuffle so fast, it's not even funny. And what the hell was the point of all those weeks of building up Snitsky just to leave him as Just Another Guy in the lower mid-card? It's just mind-boggling. It started out so well. Booker could have given Cena a fresh feud (EDIT: Upon further thought, I don't see why he still can't), Lashley and Benoit could have had some great matches (like tonight's), and Kennedy and Edge was literally staring them right in the face! And somehow, it goes to hell in the end.
The upside? I loved tonight's cameos. It was especially refreshing to see Bret Hart again in ANY capacity.

There are about 35 ways they can go with this, and I'm not sure I like any of them.

"I did it for you Rock"
Sorry, wrong storyline.
Anyway, I liked seeing Lou Albano back on the TV. The man is a legend and should be used more.
I like how they let everybody who had ever been screwed over, pretty much shoot on VKM.
Either way, good to see Benoit going to ECW, put the belt on him and perhaps they can build a legit show.

| #14 Posted on 11.6.07 2219.38 | Instant Rating: 3.26 | Well, that was ridiculous. Even the draft was ridiculous. You mean to tell me Smackdown has NO PROBLEM losing King Booker and Benoit because they got Torrie Freakin' Wilson? Give me a break.
ECW - Benoit and Boogeyman Smackdown - Khali, Masters, Torrie Wilson and Ric Flair RAW - King Booker, Lashley, Snitsky and Mr. Kennedy
Wow. Could that be anymore lopsided? I was expecting Batista to take Snitsky's place to make it even more of a joke.
Benoit - Will be a stud on ECW and give them some level of credibility Boogeyman - Please.
Khali - I guess the feud will be w/ Batista and there is no way Batista can carry Khali like Cena did Masters - Jobber Torrie - Please Flair - Great on the mic, but he is not someone you want holding the banner
Booker - Gold. On the mic and in the ring. Lashley - He has been on RAW so much it makes sense. Snitsky - Fodder for Cena Mr. Kennedy - The future of RAW and can be both face and heel.
As for the ending again, much like HHH being dropped from a crane while in a car on night and back in action the next, I expect Vince at RAW next week, unscathed.
Weak overall.

As far as the draft goes, Smackdown sure got the raw end of the deal, despite what JBL may think about getting Torrie Wilson. At least ECW picked up Benoit, so I think they came out in a wash. (Obviously RAW won the draft.)
Edit: I see wwe.com is saying "presumed" dead. Not good enough. Say he IS dead.
