That'll actually kinda make life a little easier, seeing as I almost always have to tape Raw due to hitting the town for box socials and hootenannies and such on Fridays. Thursdays are somewhat of a dead night for me thanks to working uber-early hours the next day, so yay for oldschool, I guess.
Once upon a time in China, some believe, around the year one double-ought three, head priest of the White Lotus Clan, Pai Mei was walking down the road, contemplating whatever it is that a man of Pai Mei's infinite power contemplates - which is another way of saying "who knows" - when a Shaolin monk appeared, traveling in the opposite direction. As the monk and the priest crossed paths, Pai Mei, in a practically unfathomable display of generosity, gave the monk the slightest of nods. The nod was not returned. Now was it the intention of the Shaolin monk to insult Pai Mei or did he just fail to see the generous social gesture? The motives of the monk remain unknown. What is known, are the consequences. The next morning Pai Mei appeared at the Shaolin Temple and demanded of the Temple's head abbot that he offer Pai Mei his neck to repay the insult. The Abbot at first tried to console Pai Mei, only to find Pai Mei was inconsolable. So began the massacre of the Shaolin Temple and all 60 of the monks inside at the fists of the White Lotus. And so began the legend of Pai Mei's five point palm exploding heart technique.
I have a problem with it, It was always a friday night thing, i watched about an hour and a half, then fell asleep at about 11:30 if i was tired and watched at 9:30 in the morning to watch smackdown! Seeing as i am still in school, i will never be able to see a whole live show anymore, seeing as i have to wake up at 8 in the morning the next day, and need as much sleep as possible, hopefully, sky sports will see that they get less viewers(hopefully) then move it back where it belongs.
The E's target demo is 18-34 or so they say and in the UK most in that age range with a life and not people who come online Friday nights just to chat up girls in other contintents will be happy with this. Friday night was a poor timeslot for a guy to se it. If you not go out there often a few half decent shows on TV RAW apart.
Thursday is a good night as most are at work or 6th form school and can watch it and it finish by 11pm. Thanks Sky Sports!
I ran, I ran so far away 'cos I want you to want me and I was angry when I met you, you stupid girl
WOW to quote monty python ..you lucky lucky bastards...
Here in Australia the wrestling is on pay tv (cable) and RAW is on Friday nights 4 days after it is on in the US and Smackdown is on Saturday lunchtimes
I read somewhere that if you dont read the spoilers you get more enjoyment out of it and I have to admit its true so I stopped reading a lot of news and waited and it was true, the enjoyment of just watching was great.
I really do wish I could find a way to watch live or near enough live as it is a pain
I don't believe it. Finally WWE gets some positive publicity for once-- Today show, Howard Stern, articles in newspapers-- And they piss it all away. Don't get me wrong, I'm still not a huge fan of the Billy/Chuck angle they had going.
