TSN has gotten the rights to Monday Night Football beginning September 7th, 2006. I e-mailed TSN, and they told me that RAW will air Mondays at 12:30am ET (after the football game), then re-air Tuesdays at 3:30pm ET and sometime in prime-time, probably around 9pm.
(edited by Freeway420 on 11.11.05 0113) DVDs; Blog Calgary Flames: 7-7-1-1 (5th in NHL Northwest Divison) Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights: 5-5-0-3 (3rd in AHL West Division) Las Vegas Wranglers: 3-1-1 (4th in ECHL West Division)

I think you mean to say 12:30am, as in after midnight.
Oh well, there goes my long-standing Monday night ritual of laundry and RAW.

All hail the return of the overly censored and butchered up Tuesday afternoon RAW!!!!!
I won't mind the midnight showing, but I hope they don't cut anything out, and they show even past-11pm overlap.
EDIT: NFL season goes for, what....20 weeks, right?
I heard about this yesterday -- this just sucks, I feel like I'm in 1996 again, staying up till all hours just to see Raw (of course, in 1996, it may have been worth it to stay up that late, who knows?).
I just hope that by next year, TSN maybe changes its mind (or receives enough of a protest by its viewers) and offers to air a live showing of Raw on a different CTV-owned network. Even if its just for those 17 weeks, they know that they'd probably get the ratings (not to say NFL wouldn't, and I totally understand why they would rather have that on the air) from folks like me that want to watch Raw live, not stay up until 2 a.m.
17 weeks of regular season. Probably 16 MNFs; they've traded having a game on the last week of the season (because it's usually insignificant) for a Friday night game to start the season.

Not sure about that; though you'd think that now that CityTV is indeed EVERYWHERE, they'd get great ratings. But...it was merely a one year contract, so I guess NFL wanted to be put on a sports network here.
Either that, or City wanted another night to put on stuff like SuperNanny or whatever else they show.
Originally posted by FMWESPN will be showing MNF next season, and TSN is the Canadian ESPN, so of course the rights will move from City to TSN.
TSN is partly owned by ESPN...but at the core, it's owned by BCE, who own, among other things, CTV, Bell, and the Globe and Mail. I'm not really sure that ESPN has much of a say in the running of the station.
