It'd be interesting to see where he'd be in a timeline where he didn't marry into the family. I imagine somewhere in between Batista and and a less work ratey Kurt Angle.

I would also like to think that he would have been forced to be more creative with his character. Helmsley has done some interesting things over the years, but for me there have been far more please just go away moments.

Now that I think about it I'd rather have Hunter bury talent every few months on inconsistent Raws, rather than bury talent in and out of the ring every week. That is the poison I favor.
