I got some of it and was a bit disappointed they ruined Tough Enough for me which I DVRed. Well, I'll go back for the Austin stuff in the final three. I am glad they let Kharma admit she was pregnant, yet setting a version of Rock/Cena with the Bellas and her seems out of place. R-Truth winning in any form is a good one. A-Ri is coming along fine with his face push. Punk got a win over Rey another good move. Minus the bizarre technical difficulties, the needles Omaha backstage and the Bellas, it was a decent show. I am also ok with Dolph/Kofi, because I don't watch Smackdown, so its new to me.

Minus ... the Bellas, it was a decent show.

! hey baby listen to me. Bellas are the greatest in the land.

What was the last Raw with just Cole and Lawler b t w? I guess Lawler has completely accepted his apology and granted his wish to go back to the way things were. Which is strange but COMPLETELY FINE as a tradeoff for the end of the era of Cole as the central figure on Raw.

btw wouldn't Alberto be better off as the pot-stirrer in the Sheamus/Henry spot in a threeway feud with Orton and Christian on Smackdown right now than he would feuding with Big Show and Kane. and then he could move to Raw in July for the match with Cena and show up with great fanfare in a big spot right away. reason #a million why the draft is shit and they should do free agent jumps staggered throughout the year.

I really enjoyed this show. Look at who got wins and pushes: Evan, Truth, Punk, Dolph, and Riley. That's some novelty going on there. Truth starts the show AND gets a technical win over Cena? Morrison better bring it in his return angle, or Truth will smother him.

"Hey, Dad!"

Wait, there's a Truth Tractor Trailer? Tremendous.

I wish Kharma well for her high-risk pregnancy. Stay well, ma'am.

How dare you. The Bellas are twice the woman you'll ever be.

Hey, for Kharma, the Bellas gave new meaning to You Can Look But You Can't Touch.

Except for that whole Nikki getting pinned by Kelly Kelly thing - not that it kept Brie from declaring them LOSERS with the L sign - the Bellas wrestled like the Brain Busters. Quick tags in and out. Cutting the ring in half and keeping their opponent in the wrong part of town. Nikki repeatedly pulling up her bottoms like Arn Anderson would fix his trunks. Truly, the Bellas are Tully and Arn 2011.

It was a Bellarific night. Maybe the most Bellanomenal night in Bella herstory.

Not only did the Bellas personally run Kharma out of WWE, they will never get their comeuppance. You hear me? No comeuppance!

But seriously, everything in the Kharma segment impressed me. The liberal use of the word "wrestling", allowing Kharma to break character, her excellent promo, making Jim Ross seem like a sexist heel, the Bellas giving her a delightful sendoff. Great segment. How about another one next week? Oh wait, Kharma's gone off to make high-risk babies. See you all next year, if you're still around.

As for the fat jokes, I don't like 'em either, but just four days ago, ODB used the old Vince Russo standby in her promo that Velvet Sky is a slut and a whore. I'll take cheap fat jokes over that garbage.

In non-Bella related RAW events, besides becoming WWE Champion and Mizzing Maryse in real life, The Miz's greatest accomplishment might just be turning Alex Riley in a mega babyface in just two weeks. I mean, this is A-Ri. He can't talk, he can't wrestle. But as long as he beats on Miz, he's a rock star. He even has rock star babyface music. No generic Jim Johnston three chord guitar riff for A-Ri. The WTF look on his face when he came out to a thundrous ovation was apt.

Then there's John Cena. He cares so much about the WWE Universe, he'll disrobe and start giving you his clothes if a fellow Superstar humiliates you.

John, you must be high everyone on every other message board everyone saw A-Ri coming out as a mega star. Why who didn't see his flashes of brilliance in FCW? Who couldn't for see his stardom by carrying a briefcase of nothing for almost a year? Ray Charles could see the giant star he would be just by jobbing to Cena an almost weekly basis heading into and out of Mania.

R-Truth, crazy homeless man is the best thing since Bob Backlund cracked in the 90's.

I fully expect "Lil Jimmy" signs to start popping up.

"YA'LL SHUT UP! WE TALKIN!"

Meanwhile, Cena has lost any good well he built up with Rock. For me, it isn't Supercena that gets on my nerves as much as how much fan ass he kisses.

Alex Riley's face pops have to do with two reasons:

1) The Miz.

2) COLE.

That's right, even if he is more subdued the "damage" has been done; Cole is still a heat magnet. The GM announcement proved it, the promo with Riley proved it.

MEANWHILE....

Lets not forget that while in NXT, Alex Riley made it pretty far. He's had a chance the last while to train a bit more, travel with the main roster. I think he'll do great (having killer entrance music helps too).

Truth is Truth. How he spazzes out mid promo is GOLD.

Yet another appearance of the WWE INTERNET CHAMPION!

Is it just me or are they slowly building up some of the young talent?

EDIT: "Say it to my face", by Downstrait is Riley's new theme. The band may sound familiar; they did Miz's theme too.

Unfortunately, it seems he's keeping the annoying heel announcer role, which too often takes the focus off of the in-ring action. So even though he's not in 15 minute segments on Raw, he's still too often the focus of things.

Amen. I realized during the show that the difference between a heel commentator like Cole and someone like Heenan or Ventura is the fun. Cole isn't fun, he's just annoying.

Although he did make me chuckle when Kharma was leaving and Lawler said "That was the lowest thing I've ever heard." and Cole replied "It's the truth" in a carefree manor.

Hee, Heenan. Whenever I think of him as a heel commentator, I always think,

You're doing that thing again where I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

To try to occupy some middle ground here between you and John O, I think the point is that while A-Ri has shown many flashes of moderate awesomeness, from his gimmicky NXT run to the events you mentioned, it seemed that he was destined for mid-card low-reaction generic heeldom for his entire life. The surprise is that people are cheering for him, loudly and instantly, as a face.

I watched the 92 Rumble a few months ago and it is some of the best commentary of any match I've ever seen. Heenan throws out even trying to fake being objective and Monsoon needles him for the whole match.

My super power is the ability to disguise scarscasm. Honestly, it has more to do with other websties where all of the sudden people are jumping on the A-Ri bandwagon while saying they were with him the entire. Monday morning Quaterbacking at its best and as usual done online. I agree with you though, it has shocked me how over he is right now and how well they are doing this angle.

Heenan doing the Rumble 92 announcing is oscar worthy. That maybe the greatest Rumble of all time followed by one of the greatest promos of all time.
