Weren't you the same one complaining because Over the Limit was "completely predictable"?

If I remember correctly, the audience had no idea what was going on or how to react when Nexus instigated their initial attack and that was one of the most memorable segments of the last decade. Not to say that Kharma's breakdown is on the same level as that, but you can't be both unpredictable and obvious.

The Kharma thing to me seems pretty obvious. Kharma has been around for a month now. She destroyed people for three weeks, then she had a breakdown. It's her time of the month. Three weeks out of the month, she's unstoppable, but for one week she's an emotional mess against whom the divas stand a chance. Her story will be one predominantly of destruction with intermittent moments where she's completely vulnerable. She'll win the title and then do everything she can to avoid defending it during her monthly time of weakness.

Just be glad Vince Russo is in TNA, otherwise we'd have a tampon-on-a-pole match.

So you believe that Vince okay'd CM Punk wearing a Ring of Honor shirt and a Charles Manson shirt, not to mention the stigmata?

Points for originality.

Given that the WWE seamstress likely made the outfit that afternoon, I doubt it was not on the QT without Vince knowing it.

Again, 95%+ of Vince's audience has no idea about the fractured relationship with Savage and it would have been amazingly poor PR to not do anything.

The weird thing about Punk doing it is that you would think it should have been a babyface, to get the cheap pop.

It probably should have been Rey, as it would seem really weird for Cena to do it.

Maybe this is the simple rationale for Kharma: Kharma counter-attacked, she didn't throw the first blow in the beatdowns, unless I'm blocking something out. No one attacked her this time. Thus, she was dealing with the rage within without having a vehicle to let it out.
Or, they hired Bubba the Love Sponge.

I am positive that you guys in this thread have laid out better stories for the Kharma segment/angle than WWE will eventually give us.

Meltzer sez:

-- The Kharma deal last night was her blow-off for the time being. It is believed she'll be out for over nine months.

http://www.f4wonline.com/content/view/20746/

WTF? Is she pregnant? Regardless, if this is accurate, then yes, they were indeed killing off the Kharma character for the time being. And what a way they chose to do it. I mean, she could have savaged the Divas last night and the RAW GM could have suspended her for brutality. Instead, they did what they did. Bunch of Creative geniuses, they are. (I know, no fantasy booking...)

Let's raise a toast to Three Fabulous Weeks of Kharma. Kelly Kelly can finally rest easy again.

Which if she is, she'd need maternity leave, so pencil her out for well over a year.

So they figured...irreparable damage to her character was the best way to write her out. Mickie James looked at that treatment and said, "Damn, that's ROUGH!"

Well, so much for the Divas being interesting. I never thought I'd have to say this, but SAVE US, MICHAEL COLE!

FWIW, it's actually Bryan reporting it. If the links on the WON update work (and exist at all), it's Bryan.

Aww congratulations Kharma. At least she's already got a bunch of dolls.

Remember when Yokozuna died? Undertaker wrestled on RAW wearing a Yokozuna shirt. When someone dies, kayfabe goes out the window.

I admit this is the picking of nits, but I'd rather see the Savage tribute-draped wrestler win the match. Or at least hit the elbow.

Main event was CM Punk fantasy camp. He got to dress up like Randy Savage and then he got to take the sharpshooter from Bret Hart.

If she is pregnant, what was she thinking? I realize that these things happen, but if I'd JUST started a job, I'd be using iron plated condoms and chain mail sponges.

TITLE CHANGE

WWE Tag Team Championship
New Champions: Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga
2011 Title Changes: Five

This is Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga's first reign together as a team, and McGillicutty's first career WWE championship. For Otunga this is the second time he's won the WWE Tag Team Championship; the first time he won it, his partner was John Cena, and they defeated Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre at Bragging Rights on 10/24/10. The following night, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel defeated them for the title when Otunga was ordered by Wade Barrett to lie down in the middle of the ring to be pinned.

This is the fifth separate reign of the WWE Tag Team Championship for the Nexus and Nexus spin-off factions (which include The Nexus, The Corre and The New Nexus), and this is the first time a New Nexus team has won the championship. In fact, this is the first title reign of any kind for The New Nexus, and neither the original Nexus or The New Nexus have won any title other than the tag-team championship. (Of course, Wade Barrett of The Corre is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion).

Their defeat of Kane and The Big Show ends that team's 34-day reign as tag-team champions.

Depends entirely on whether they dub this current team "MeGoogle-Cutty". I like the idea of David Otunga as a modern day tag specialist, quietly putting together title reigns with everyone in the company. ShowTunga seems inevitable, but OtUnder will be the ultimate team.

I kept forgetting to ask this, but because people are now finding the animated GIF from the Smackdown thread (The W) AND since the WWE truck was good enough to provide a replay of Cena's post match celebration - let's see if I can embed this correctly:

Is this just coincidence, or is there a competition going on here?

(I'm not necessarily asking YOU, because you don't know any better than I do - it's more rhetorical, unless you think there's no connection at all, in which case you should tell me I'm off my rocker here.)

She may also want to talk to Dawn Marie about how the company sometimes treats pregnant divas.

Prediction: It's an angle, as more and more Superstars are going to celebrate thusly, until one of them pulls a Grammatica on the landing and blames the rest for goading him into it. ;-)

Yeah, I'm guessing there's a bit of a joke going on backstage. Too funny.

Orton 1, Cena 0. Randy's split in mid-air was too funny.

Yeah, I'm giving the point to Orton. With Cena's character, it's explainable. But seeing Orton (the supposed emotionless Viper) do a full-on cheerleader split and fist pump is just baffling and hilarious.
