TONIGHT: It’s the final Raw before Wrestlemania 27. The Rock will be in the arena live, and we should get our final Hall-of-Fame inductee(s) announced, unless they decide to save it for WWE.com again. Triple H and Undertaker go face-to-face before their WM battle. With Smackdown not having a taping for Friday, this is the go-home show for Raw and Smackdown, so the hype for both brands’ matches will be on full display here.

- WWE Open.

- Cold open to CM Punk, sitting Indian Style (or whatever the PC term for that is now) in the ring, lights down, spotlight on him. “I’m gonna miss this,” he said. He said he had his doubts that the people in Atlanta for Wrestlemania would warmly greet him like his hometown in Chicago. He said they are all his people, just like the members of New Nexus were his people, until Randall Keith Orton took them all out. The one big difference between him and Orton is that Punk is a realist. He said whether you’re part of Nexus or from his hometown…he doesn’t care what happens to you. He said he didn’t care if anyone got punted in the head. His problem is Orton. Punk said if he wants someone to get him coffee or watch his back, all he needs to do is snap his fingers and any number of people would do it for him. He used the word “monumentous,” which isn’t even a word. He paused like he wanted to correct himself, but moved on.

Punk took us back to last week where he made his own Hallmark moment. They showed Orton in his match until Punk interrupted on the TitanTron, and the subsequent attack outside of Orton’s bus. Punk said he knows Orton cares about his wife, but when she goes to sleep and closes her eyes, she sees Orton lying on the concrete, Punk standing over him. He said two years ago Orton cost him a title shot, and now Punk has robbed him of the respect of his family. As Punk posed and was about to leave the ring, Orton’s music hit and he came out. His right knee was heavily taped as he limped slowly to the ring (even slower than usual!). Punk had a shit-eating grin in the ring as he waited for Orton to enter. Orton did and Punk attacked. Orton took advantage with a European uppercut, then gave Punk the rope-assisted DDT. He set up for the RKO. Instead, he lined up for the Punt. Orton picked up a head of steam, but his injured knee buckled underneath him. Punk got out of the ring as the crowd chanted his name. Some of the crowd chanted “Orton” though. Punk realized what happened and went back into the ring. Punk toyed with Orton and he kicked the leg out from under Orton’s leg. Orton used the ropes to get back to his feet, and punk picked him up for the GTS. Crowd was behind Punk even more here, and his finisher connected. Punk calmly walked out of the ring and up the ramp.

- Tonight, Triple H and Undertaker go face-to-face.

- Also, John Cena, the Rock and Miz are all in the building…what will happen when those combustible elements combine?

- Christian was walking backstage. He came upon the locker room of Edge, who came out with his trenchcoat. Apparently, he and Alberto Del Rio can’t touch on Smackdown…but the Raw GM said they can on Raw. Edge did a 180 and said aside from the GM noise, he’s always liked the guy. Edge and Christian in tag action, next.

[Commercial Break]

(1) Edge & Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio & Brodus Clay
Edge got his boot up on a Clay charge in the corner, then tagged Christian in about 20 seconds in. They had trouble whipping Clay into the corner due to the man’s size, but they did and traded corner splashes. Edge and Christian teamed up to toss Clay over the top rope as Michael Cole rightly protested the long double-teaming. Christian propelled himself over the top rope and onto Clay, but Clay caught him. Edge did a baseball slide into Christian, knocking Clay over. They went to break with the babyfaces in control, about 1:13 into the match.

[Commercial Break]

Back with Del Rio in control at 4:45. He was working the arm of Christian. Christian worked back to his feet and Del Rio kicked him back down. Del Rio’s enforcer, Clay, came in next, dropping the elbow across the chest of Christian a few times. Then he stepped on Christian’s chest. After a tag, Del Rio shot off the second rope with an elbowdrop, registering a two-count. Del Rio paid for a slap to the face, which seemed to wake Christian up. Tornado DDT and at seven minutes, both men were down. Both men made tags and Edge tried to knock the big man down. Clay went for a powerslam, but Edge landed the Edge-O-Matic. He signaled for a Spear as the crowd got behind him. But from outside the ring, Del Rio tripped up the Champ. Christian attacked, but Del Rio turned the tide and whipped Christian into the barricade. Clay missed a corner charge and Edge capitalized with a Spear for the win.

Winners: Edge and Christian, at 8:15. Nice preview for the World Title match, and they kept Del Rio and Edge apart.

Del Rio locked in the cross arm-breaker on Christian outside the ring, until Edge came out and chased him off. As Edge went to check on his partner, Del Rio ran back out, nailing Edge from behind. Then he locked in his finisher on Edge. He trash-talked Edge in Spanish, then winked as Edge was laid out in pain.

- The announcers were shown at ringside, including Cole, in his glass case of emotion. Cole previewed the six-person tag at Wrestlemania, with Snooki involved.

- They went to the Sports Zone in New Jersey, where Trish Stratus and Snooki were sharing drinks. The announcers were going to talk to them live tonight (despite this bit being taped last week).

[Commercial Break]

- Another, even more epic, Sin Cara vignette aired. It looked like he was entertaining in a ring surrounded by structures from Ancient Greece.

- The skyline of Chicago was shown.

- Members of the Illinois National Guard were shown at ringside.

- Close-up on the new WWE Title backstage. Alex Riley was busy turning around the big WWE logo in the background as Miz took a picture of it on his phone.

- Josh Mathews and Jerry Lawler talked of The Rock being in the arena, until the GM chimed in. Lawler stood up, but Cole told Lawler not to bother, that he’s got this one. And he’s got it on his IPad. Apparently, the GM wants King to have a warm-up match for ‘Mania, a match that will see him take on Jack Swagger. Lawler did some trash talking to Cole.

- A graphic showed Triple H vs. Undertaker in a No Holds Barred match at ‘Mania, while Mathews plugged their face-off.

- A video package for the Undertaker vs. Trips match aired, heavy on The Last Outlaw theme. It was set to Mark Collie’s “In Time.” They also had Triple H interview comments interspersed into the video. A graphic was then shown of the two men going face-to-face tonight.

- The announcers discussed the Wrestlemania Week festivities.

(2) Justin Gabriel vs. Santino Marella
The Corre was already in the ring, and before Gabriel’s opponent was announced, Big Show and Kane walked to the ring. Then Santino’s music played, and he, Tamina, and Vladimir Kozlov came out. Just announced for ‘Mania: Kane, Show, Santino and Kozlov vs. The Corre. Adjust your WM predictions accordingly! Hip-lock take-over by Santino once the match started. Back kick by Gabriel for two after Heath Slater provided a distraction. Gabriel worked the left arm, but missed an elbowdrop. Santino fought back at the one-minute mark. Santino signaled for a press slam, but decided on a diving headbutt. Slater got on the apron, but Kane went around to take care of him. While the ref was distracted, Kozlov tripped up Gabriel. Big Show took out some more Corre members and Santino hit the Cobra for the pinfall win.

Winner: Marella, at 1:51. Santino wins here and the faces stand tall…this after Kane and Show fought off Corre last Monday. Why is this eight-man match happening on Sunday?

Big Show did the trumpet celebration as Kane looked at the four of them with contempt…before he pulled out the trumpet. Should’ve saved that for the ‘Mania post-match, too.

- The announcers plugged the WWE All-Star Game. They even showed Big Show vs. Andre The Giant. Cole said we could see matches like Bret Hart vs. John Cena and Shawn Michaels vs. Ricky Steamboat in that game. Of course, Steamboat and HBK were both in WWE at the same time in the early-to-mid 90s I believe.

- Triple H was walking backstage, headed to the ring for his confrontation with Undertaker.

[Commercial Break]

- Singing “America The Beautiful” at Wrestlemania will be Grammy nominated hip-hop and R&B artist Keri Hilson. You may recognize her from the song “Pretty Girl Rock,” currently playing on a lot of Top 40 stations.

- The Undertaker came to the ring. Once inside, his theme morphed into Triple H’s, and the Game made his way to the squared circle to confront his Wrestlemania opposition. As Trips was about to do his water-spitting on the apron, the bell tolled and the lights went dark. The lights came back on and the two legends stood face-to-face in the ring. Neither seemed ready to give any ground. As they continued staring, Shawn Michaels’ theme hit, and he came out, wearing a skull cap, cutoff t-shirt and jeans. He did his fireworks routine and everything.

Shawn got in the ring and grabbed a microphone. He said he was really sorry about interrupting but there was no one he was going to miss this. Michaels said that this Sunday will feature the biggest match of both men’s careers. He built up both men, then said after Sunday, neither man will be the same ever again. He began to look at Taker, but ended up talking to The Game, asking him what made him think he could do something that H BK couldn’t? Crowd ooohh’d at that, then chanted “HBK.” Triple H said the truth is Shawn got soft, and somewhere along the way, it was more important to be Mr. Wrestlemania, which he is, but he realized a long time ago, he doesn’t have to win every night to be those things. “I’m not Shawn Michaels,” said Trips. “Not even close. I have to win.” He got in Taker’s grill and said, “and I will win.”

He said that 16 years ago, he walked into a locker room full of icons and legends, but there was one guy who stood head-and-shoulders above the rest, someone who was the glue that held everything together. He watched the guy wrestle with broken bones, torn ligaments, crush one side of his face in only to wrestle the next night. Trips said that’s what this business is about, and that if he patterned himself after anyone, it should be Taker. That guy was Undertaker. Well duh. Hunter said he learned to respect him more and more every day. And there’s only one guy he respects more…well, as much, and that’s Michaels. Hunter said five or six years ago, he and Shawn were driving down the road and they made a pact that if either guy wasn’t performing up to their capabilities, the other guy would tell them. And if they wouldn’t take it, one would end the other’s career. That’d be a good angle and feud! Hunter said he came back after a year off to look Taker in the eyes and tell him, “it’s time.” He said a lot of people, Taker included, probably can’t see that. Triple H said Taker would always be an icon, a legend and a phenom, and he’ll always respect him more than any other. But in six days, he’ll no longer be undefeated at Wrestlemania. Hunter said that whether he wants it to be or not, he’s going to be the one…as in, 18-1. At Wrestlemania 27, he said Taker and his streak, “with all due respect,” will rest in peace.

Taker took the mic and allowed the crowd to buzz a little longer. “If I ever got to the time where I felt that someone should put me down, I’d want that person to be you,” he told Hunter, citing the respect that he has for him. “But it ain’t that time.” Taker said Triple H is going to kill himself trying, but the Streak will still be alive, and so will he. Some Dead Man he is! “And if you don’t want to take my word for it…ask him,” he said, pointing to Michaels. He said Michaels is the man who gave him the two best Wrestlemania challenges of his career. Shawn came close, but he didn’t get it done. He said he doesn’t see the same confidence or arrogance in Shawn’s eyes; rather, he sees a man who he humbled. He said it’s a man who will soon go into the Hall-of-Fame full of regrets. He said Shawn is a man whose career he ended. Then he shoved the mic into Shawn’s chest. Shawn backed away and came at Taker with a superkick. Taker caught it and grabbed Shawn by the throat. Hunter pried Taker off and went nose-to-nose with Taker. Hunter told Shawn to tell Taker why he’ll beat Taker at ‘Mania. Shawn stood in the corner, saying nothing. Trips looked at him, wondering why he wasn’t saying anything. Instead of backing up his friend’s claim, Michaels exited the ring. Triple H tried to get his attention in the ring and told Michaels to look at him. Hunter, from the ring, was angry. “I’m sorry…you can’t do it,” he mouthed to Triple H. Then he walked up the ramp. Taker smiled at Hunter, pulled his hat, and left the ring. Well done.

- As the announcers stayed silent, a graphic showed The Miz, The Rock and John Cena, all still to come.

[Commercial Break]

(3) Jack Swagger vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler
Lawler came out from backstage and had some new music. Didn’t like it. Cole was in the ring with Swagger. Cole harassed Lawler from the apron, allowing Swagger to attack him from behind. Vader Bomb from Swagger. “It’s all about Sunday,” Cole lectured Lawler from ringside. Swagger sent Lawler into the ring announcer and timekeeper’s area. Cole told Swagger to take Lawler out. Lawler fought back with a right hand, then grabbed a chair. He assaulted Swagger in the back with it, drawing a DQ.

Winner: Swagger, via DQ, at 1:15. Not going to argue with that finish.

After a couple whacks for Swagger, Lawler looked at Cole and went after him. Cole went back to his box as security stopped him and Mathews reminded lawler he can’t hit Cole. Lawler climbed the case to try to get Cole as security held him back. Cole threw a drink in Lawler’s face, as he continued to berate King as security held him back.

- John Cena, The Rock, The Miz, all in the same ring, tonight.

[Commercial Break- they’ve shown a ton of new Tough Enough commercials to this point as well]

- Vickie Guerrero walked out. She stood on the ramp and put on John Morrisons’ sunglasses. She imitated Morrison’s entrance, even with the slow-mo and fireworks. I guess at some point she said she had a surprise for Morrison tonight, and that was it. Back in the ring, she did her “excuse me” stuff and told Snooki that at ‘Mania, she’d find herself in a familiar place: Passed out and unconscious.

(4) Dolph Ziggler & Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan & John Morrison
Sheamus got off to a fast start, knocking Morrison off his feet and dragging him all around the ring. He missed a charge though, and Morrison fought out of the heel corner. Flash Kick, but he was caught by Sheamus, who gave Morrison an Irish Curse backbreaker for two. They went to break 38 seconds into the match.

[Commercial Break]

Back at 3:51 of the match. Sheamus went for a pinfall right after they came back, but only got a two-count. Morrison kicked out of a hold at 4:35 and both men were down. Bryan tagged in and clotheslined Ziggler, the other new legal man, twice. He locked Ziggler in the Lebell Lock, but Sheamus interfered to break it up. He went right back to the corner and Ziggler tagged in. Hard Irish Hammer and Bryan did a 360 sell for a two-count. It was broken up by Morrison. Morrison and Ziggler rowed until Sheamus threw Morrison out. Bryan couldn’t get the Lebell Lock on Sheamus, and missed a corner charge. Pale Justice (Razor’s Edge) for the win.

Winners: Ziggler and Sheamus, at 6:13. Good, high-energy match. I do like all four of these guys and good to have Sheamus look strong heading into his US Title defense at ‘Mania.

- Earlier tonight, Randy Orton couldn’t punt CM Punk, so Punk came in and gave a GTS to Orton.

- Backstage, Orton looked in a daze, icing his leg. Scott Stanford and his announcer voice walked in and asked Orton if he’d make it to Wrestlemania. Orton said he has serious anger management issues and he has ruined the careers of men he has barely known, simply because he could. Mr. Anderson is shouting “see! I told you so!” at his TV right now. Orton said he has never hated anyone more than CM Punk. The question shouldn’t be “will Orton make it to Wrestlemania.” It should be “will CM Punk make it out?”

- For the first time ever, Miz, Rock and Cena all in the same ring at once.

[Commercial Break]

- More shots from outside the arena in Chicago.

- They showed a graphic of those who have already been announced for the WWE Hall-of-Fame, then Mathews sent it to a video package on the final inductees for 2011, The Road Warriors. Paul Ellering even got a mention as the orchestrator of the team. According to the graphic, it’s the Warriors AND Paul Ellering going in.

- From Miami Mike’s on the Jersey Shore, Trish and Snooki joined the broadcast. Mathews asked Snooki if she was prepared for LayCool. Some dude named Danny E. walked in and Trish pushed him aside. Snooki said Trish had been training her and to bring on LayCool and Vickie. As Mathews tried to ask another question, Danny E tried to get them to come with him. Snooki slapped him and gave him a weak shove as security hauled him off. Mathews said it appeared that Snooki was ready for Wrestlemania. They showed the graphic for the match, then someone spoke in Mathews’ headset, saying LayCool was at the bar. They went back to video of LayCool sneaking up behind the ladies. Snooki threw a drink at McCool, and the four women brawled, with Michelle and Trish pairing off, as well as Snooki and Layla. Security intervened and pulled LayCool off. Trish and Snooki shouted after LayCool, getting bleeped in the process.

- Next: Cena, Miz, Rock.

[Commercial Break]

- Next Monday, the Hall-of-Fame will air at 8pm on USA, followed by Raw, then the premiere of Tough Enough.

- The Rock was backstage, just behind the curtain. He got some boos in the arena too, and a “Rocky” chant. He looked all around as if he were waiting for someone, but then his music hit and he walked out. It was all cheers then. “Rocky” chants from the fans as Rock let it all sink in. “Finally, The Rock has come back to Chicago.” Rock said Chicago was the city where it all started for him, as it was where he competed in his very first Wrestlemania, right in that very building. Rock said that night, he was nervous. He said he was nervous, but did something that defined the rest of his life: He decided to bring it. He said that night was the unofficial birth of Team Bring It. But it’s not some slogan, it’s a way of life. He said on Team Bring It, you go after your dreams. He said his dream was to come to the ring and call out John Cena. “Cena sucks” chant, loud and proud from the Chicago-ans. Rock said in his dream, Cena comes to the ring to his rap song, looking like a homeless Power Ranger. He said Cena would say you can’t see him, but the Rock puts a boot in his ass. But that’s a dream, not reality. He said reality is that the Rock is here, and he’s not alone. Then Cena’s music hit and he came out, smiling at the crowd’s reactions. He saluted, then headed to the ring.

Cena walked around the inside of the ring, as Rock mirrored him. Cena laid the mic down then posed at the requisite time in his music. The music stopped and the crowd roared with anticipation. “This is what I wanted!” said Cena. “The Rock is finally back in a WWE ring!” He said it sounded like The Rock hadn’t missed a beat. He said this is where Rock belongs. “You suck” chant directed at Cena. He asked Rock if he hears the millions chanting his name. Cena said years ago, when he opened his mouth about Rock, he was one of the millions. He said he didn’t know why he left and he wanted him back for moments like this. He said the power Rock has over people is undeniable. Cena told Rock to feel the electricity, the excitement that can be brought by only one man, that man being The Rock. He said he was glad Rock came back, and he even mentioned Cena’s name! Cena said he was honored, like it was a celebrity roast. But in the weeks following, he wanted to listen to what Rock had to say, because what he said about Rock had both meaning and merit. Loud “Cena sucks” chant, for which Cena paused. There’s a guy in overalls that looks like a Vince McMahon-created hillbilly character opposite the hard camera.

Cena said Rock had a lot of problems with Cena. He had a problem with his colors, the way he talked and the kind of music he listened to. Cena said Rock has a problem with his moral code. The kicker: Cena’s audience is kids, and he’s damn proud of it. Cena basically asked Rock if he had a gripe about how hard he works for this business, and if not: “who the hell are you?” Cena went off on Rock, saying if he has to conform to Rock’s standards to be on Team Bring It, Rock can keep the application, because he doesn’t want it. He said he comes to the ring to be himself and he doesn’t try to change the minds of the fans. He said he wouldn’t be judged by The Great One. Rock had a look of bewilderment on his face.

Rock put the mic to his mouth and said the Rock isn’t going to judge Cena, since there’s only one person that judges anyone, and that’s the good Lord himself. But the good Lord himself can’t save Cena from The Rock whooping his monkey ass all over Chicago. Cena said he has said everything he has needed to say, to Rock’s face, like a man. Cena asked if Rock wanted a fight, then dropped the mic. But The Miz’s music interrupted, so fans can be mad at him for us not getting a Rock vs. Cena battle, and not the two of them themselves. Miz and Alex Riley walked to the ring. Miz said he was being upstaged by the “O” brothers: Overhyped and Overrated. Cena de-shirted.

Miz reminded everyone that Cena would lose at Wrestlemania. But at least Cena will come for a fight…unlike the Great One. Miz said he knows a secret no one else knows: Rock is going to do nothing tonight. He said Rock’s movies have grossed over $1.2 billion, and he’s not going to risk being beaten up and embarrassed by him. Miz said it’s not a risk, it’s a guaran-damn-tee. He said if Rock even looks at him funny, Rock won’t be able to even go back to Hollywood. He said he’s the champion and he’ll be champion after Wrestlemania. In the end, he said, Rock won’t actually do anything, because he’s the Miz, and he’s awesome.

Rock told Miz he should know by now, it doesn’t matter what he thinks. Then he went face-to-face with Miz. Riley nailed Rock in the head, and the two double-teamed Rock. Cena stood at ringside. Rock came back and tossed Riley out of the ring. DDT for the MIz. Man, at least Riley gets to say he was the first to get physical with Rock upon his return. People’s Elbow for Miz, then he was thrown over the top rope. Cena snuck into the ring and gave Rock the Attitude Adjustment (Cena kept Rock on his shoulders for a few beats, so Rock had to act like he was out and not even squirm in the move, which was awkward). He did the “you can’t see me” hand sign to Rock, then headed to the back. Rock tried to regroup in the ring, looking back up the ramp as the show ended.

Cena finally did the promo! And it was great! Can't believe they did the FU already. Remember all those people like me who said Rock and Cena would end up as friends? Oops. Cena is going to get the smacketh layeth etc.

They finally built HHH/Undertaker! And it was great! All they needed was Shawn Michaels.

Punk/Orton: great!

Not having Jerry The King Lawler do a promo about how he was going to make Cole pay. errrrr. good thinking. You might've thought that Lawler's speaking ability was one of the keys to this whole thing but, I mean, nah.

Poor Kofi. Vladimir Kozlov is on Wrestlemania. Big Show can pick himself a team.

Bryan loses the title, gets laid out, gets pinned, and loses again at Wrestlemania. Awesome program?

I'm fairly sure I'm going to be in the minority with this, but only John Cena could make the Cena/Rock confrontation dull.... and was it my imagination or was Miz better on the mike than both of them?

(And I will continue to wonder why they just didn't go ahead with Cena/Rock)

Kevin Kelly: "Mr. Austin, would you like to comment on Wade Keller's Take that endorsing the XFL hurts your anti-authority character?"

Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"

Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"

Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

I don't know about you, but I'm surprised they haven't announced Justin Bieber and Bob Barker yet. Also, you'd think they would have announced Christian joining that big triple threat title match by now! When are Diesel and Booker T's matches going to be announced? I've been waiting since the end of the Royal Rumble for those old fogies to take over the company!!

Boy, nothing takes me out of the mood like when the truck monkeys forget to unpause the preroll immediately before Josh talks to Trish and Snooki "LIVE!" (And even THEN... Snooki only managed to hit HALF of Laycool with her drink.)

I wish Rock had found a way to hose himself down just one more time during that final half hour.

I'll pay for this show if Natalya comes over to our house to watch it with us...and let's face it, that's probably the best WrestleMania offer she's going to get this year.

At least I'm promised FOUR HOURS OF WWE television... next Monday night. And that's not even counting that sure to happen debut of the Santino, Kozlov and Beth Phoenix situation comedy I've patiently been waiting at least a year for, which I'm sure is imminent!

I can't believe how badly Cena verbally bitch-slapped Rock, and how Rock had no response. Also, I can't believe that, despite this, I want to see Rock kill Cena. Also also, I can't believe how insignificant Miz really is in all of this. He has to go over.

Hey, Justin Gabriel is on Smackdown. Why does he have RAW chyron? Or is it that he gets the chyron of whatever show he is performing on by virtue of being an undisputed tag champ?

Giving Lawler new music is so freaking idiotic.

What does Snooki actually do outside the ring? I thought she might be a singer, but it's always a male's voice doing her song.

Betcha R-Truth and Kofi Kingston are involved in a dark match before Wrestlemania.

And no doubt the Rock is going to get his revenge on Cena at Wrestlemania... probably costing Cena the match against the Miz (no way Miz is dropping the title when they've put all the effort into putting Miz over)

Oh yeah, I'm with you there. I can only think they wanted something they owned so they won't have to overdub it on the WrestleMania DVD/Blu-ray like they surely will for Undertaker's entrance (and we'll all bitch about it later on message boards on The Internet)

Boy, that segment was awful and considering it was pre-taped, makes it even the more awful. Raw was also not live tonight which makes it even double awful. I'd would have just not put the segment on TV at all.

Either imagination or crack.

Like I've said, Miz is a main eventer by default because everyone in the company is so bland that he seems like a charisma machine. Still not in the ballpark with Rock. When his music hit, it was like letting the air out of a baloon. The crowd was giving him like a 10th of the reaction the gave Rock. Hell, Cena was getting twice the HEEL heat easily.

But anyway.

This was a great final sell for Mania. They made the UT/HHH match interesting when they were on the verge of it being just another match. Shawn looked like his soul had been ripped out when he couldn't hit the superkick.

More fuel to the Cole/Lawler fire. Nice touch having Cole throw coffee on him.

Awesome opening with Punk. I love his whole sitting down gimmick. Always kind of irks me how the E makes heels trash their hometown so they won't dare get cheered. Didn't much matter as he was still getting chants when he tore into Orton.

Keep Wrestlemania 3 hours if you are gonna just fill the extra hour up with crap like Snooki and Santino.

If they're never going to have another WrestleMania in Chicago - no big arena, not a good time of the year to be outside - they ought to put the Last Raw Before WrestleMania in Chicago ever year. WWE might have not liked the sides the fans were taking in every feud, but they had to love how much they were in to the show.

She works at a t-shirt shop.

"one of the greatest tag teams in entertainment history" is how Cole described edge and christian.

I also wanted a Jerry Lawler fireball on Swagger.

if the WWE game is T for Teens, that would make it a PG-13 game and not a PG one. I think.

Well, they didn't want to take away from the still-to-come Hall of Fame announcement for the Road Warriors, one of the greatest tag teams in the history of the SPORT.

Well, the Road Warrior that's still alive, at least...but I'm sure forgetting to mention that Hawk is no longer with us was as much of an oversight as Rocco making zero appearances in the HoF clip package. I'm sure they'll frisk Ellering before he hits the podium to make sure Rocco isn't hiding in his coat or anything.

Santino and Snooki will take up 20 minutes total combined max and something tells me we're still going to wish that multiple matches had gotten more time.

I've been waiting since the end of the Royal Rumble for those old fogies to take over the company!!

I'm still waiting to see footage of HHH and Undertaker beating up Hulk Hogan interspersed in the video packages, as punishment for Hogan spoiling a WM surprise (maybe). It's funny...the only people we don't see HHH and Taker beat up are Hogan and each other.

The bar fight was a pre-tape. Don't know about anything else.

I also thought for sure JR was tweeting during the show as a way to hide a potential run in

Not sure I follow. What WM surprise was spoiled by Hogan (maybe)?

He tweeted that Jimmy Hart would be in Lawler's corner at Wrestlemania.
