Heh. I'd pay a lot of money to see the Jersey Triad at WrestleMania, especially considering that DDP's the only one of the three left alive. (I know, that's not what you meant. It was just an attempt at humor on my part)

But speaking of people who are dead coming back to life...

I was in the RAW Live Chat, and when Michael Cole announced that he was bringing out someone to show the world "the real Jerry Lawler", no less than two people in the chat-- and keep in mind it's a moderated chat-- suggested it might be Andy Kaufman.

Yeah.

Also, I think it was hilarious how Grandmaster Sexay said he was one of the most popular superstars in WWE at one point. He was the third- most popular superstar in Too Cool, for godsakes.

Yes! Grandmaster Fieray. He just needs a goatee.

I thought he looked like a one-man Too Cool...the hair of Scotty 2 Hotty and the weight of Rikishi.

Are you guys really that pissed that a reality star is going to compete in a garbage match on a wrestling show? If you put Kelly Kelly in this match it still blows, but now the WWE gets some free press from Access Hollywood and ET.

I like the Michael Cole Pope Mobile announcing booth. Michael Cole might even get Jack Swagger over.

It's amazing how badly the Miz has beaten on John Cena.

This was a pretty solid Raw overall and we even got a legit match out of the deal.

I just saw the Snooki clip again over on www.warmingglow.com, and Ziggler won the segment with this line:

"You're not even a girl, Morrison!"

It's really nothing like that at all. Jersey Shore is the most popular show on cable. Pretty much ever. She's arguably the biggest star of that show. It boggles my mind anyone who watches WWE on purpose could find Snooki or Jersey Shore beneath their taste. From what I've seen, that show wouldn't break the top ten of moderately scummy things I've seen in McMahon-land.

WWE doesn't want to take any chances with Hunter or Taker getting hurt before the big show. It seems that UT can hardly wrestle a match nowadays without tearing or spraining something.

I'd be more than happy to break the news to him that I'm right, at least for the week of March 7th-13th

But point taken.

And for all we know "Mr. Squarepants" is booked to team up with The King this Monday in Memphis, Tuesday in Louisville and Wednesday in Evansville. Anyone who doesn't believe that couldn't have happened didn't see Jerry Lawler team up with "Cowabunga" (some guy in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle get-up) or "Freddy" (probably the same guy in a Freddy Krueger costume) or a variety of other "hot" genre stars of the day to appeal to a certain demographic, which is what they're obviously doing here. They're going for pop culture resonance and the story of Snooki at Wrestlemania has already been picked up by the mainstream media and discussed, which will lead to their fans and haters to look into it more and maybe (*maybe*) consider purchasing the PPV to see what's going on.

As has been pointed out, the lameness of TNA doing it with Angelina is that she's not even on the show anymore and ousted herself from the hottest pop culture phenomenon because she didn't want to work a t-shirt shop so she's really a D or lower level list celebrity, much like TNA certainly appears to be a D or lower level list wrestling promotion. If I didn't see Tenay and Taz discussing it on the clip of the TNA show from a link posted here a few weeks ago, or seen it discussed in this thread, I wouldn't even know she had appeared or will appear on their show.

I just don't think Angelina, former Jersey Shore cast member, carries the same cache as Snooki, current star of Jersey Shore, New York Times best-selling author, etc. etc. etc. fame deserved or not.

Of course, do I like seeing Snooki shoehorned into a storyline and having performers I like have to tailor their stories/acts/etc to her? Not really, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it either. It'll just give me a chance to hit the head during the 4 hour show that is Wrestlemania.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the stunning, blistering hotness of Trish Stratus.
Charlie Sheen would call her a Goddess. (Am I a week too late with that reference?)
I don't know if it's the longer, darker hair or she seems more toned or what. She looks great.

I think they're going to get more mileage out of the Fruity Pebbles line than they did with the shot of the scowling Miz girl.

I felt bad for the St. Louis fans who thought they were getting The Rock when that music hit. By the way, how many different names has that arena had since the Kiel Center? It seems to change each time Raw comes back there.

Are we ever going to find out the identity of the Raw GM?
I'm not used to them carrying out an angle this long. Since Edge and Jericho, I don't think anyone has even cared to find out. The wrestlers just accept it now.
