Punk has no hard feelings against Barrett because he knows Barrett and Nexus were just making a statement when he was attacked by them....nothing personal.

Punk is the mastermind behind Nexus. He didn't think he was going to be voted in by the fans to wrestle John Cena that fateful night back in June. Everyone thought Rey Mysterio was going to win that vote by a landslide. Punk and Nexus had to keep up appearances.
Sadly, it appears my dream of a Skip Sheffield beatdown of Cena is dead.
