What was wrong with the new Nexus shirt they debuted last week? They debuted yet another new one this week - it isn't bad, but last week's was much better.

Every week, I pray that Skip Sheffield will return, sneak attack Cena and clothesline his freaking head off. It's gonna happen at some point, right?

I enjoyed Cole on the mic. I found it believable as he was thinking through his position out loud and ended up determining that Lawler owed him an apology.

HEY!

Speaking of Sheffield, if the rest of Nexus continue to defy Barrett next week, he should have Sheffield & Tarver run out to beat some sense into them.

Barrett had on the one from last week. Everyone else was wearing the new "sketchy" one. I like the new one, meself.

My 17-year-old kid is claiming he'd actually wear one of those new Nexus shirts to school, which is saying something.

On the video wall for the Miz's entrance, there's a graphic black and white closeup of his eyes that looks a whole lot like the crazy eyes on that Manson shirt (which is based on a famous photo.)http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/manson/manson1.jpg

I'd be willing to bet that Punk noticed the resemblance and decided to play on it. :) Maybe you've got to be over a certain age to recognize Chucky M right off the bat...

I was actually thinking that myself.

I don't want to over think a wrestling angle, but why is Cena just allowed to do whatever he wants just because he buys a ticket every week?

This angle looked strong a couple of weeks ago, and now it looks like we are back to booking on the fly or maybe we always were and were just on a hot streak.

That's assuming Tarver never went back and watched that part where Barrett said he was looking to get rid of him anyway.

Nexus has attacked WWE security before. Cena has said they're in no big hurry to stop a guy who's going to attack Nexus on a weekly basis.

The Manson-esque eyes were on Miz's pants/trunks when he was with Morrison and on the back of the first few shirts too.

And you might need to be over a certain age to recognize Manson (though that image is the most famous Manson picture that there is) but I'm sure most of the WWE folks backstage are.

I do wonder what Punk's motivation was for wearing it.

Having Nexus vs Nexus sounds...not so compelling.
While I like them as a group, and especially Barret, I don't feel two groups fighting could be all that great.
But WWE might surprise me. They keep doing that with this angle.

How could this be the case? Michael Cole was standing in the ring and the e-mail went off, then CM Punk read the GM's e-mail. That would seem to make it logically impossible that Cole is the anonymous Raw GM.

Also, I LOVED the Nexus being tired of taking Barrett's beatings for him and basically telling him to toss off. It seems pretty clear now that we'll get Cena/Barrett II at TLC. And hopefully Slater and Gabriel get the tag belts back next Monday with Wade's help to (a) get them off Santino and Kozlov ASAP and to (b) establish that Barrett is serious about keeping the Nexus together.

Same as how Kane, and now apparently Masters, don't wear shirts even when they don't have a match. Strong Bad doesn't take off his hands and face before he goes to bed.

It is kind of annoying that Cena is constantly wearing his merchandise. He even wore it in Fred: The Movie on Nickelodeon when he was playing Fred's dad. Maybe that was the joke, I don't know, that movie was weird.

Was this the first time Orton has used the Angle Slam? I'm for it. I'm for continuing the legacy of classic moves in the WWE. The stunner is just sitting there, collecting dust.

Didn't Santino just use the stunner?

It's a simple matter to schedule an email to be sent at a particular time. Cole knew exactly when he was going to the ring. He knew it was highly likely that Lawler would want to kick his ass. All he had to do was hope he could stall long enough for the email to go through.

Besides, you're trying to apply logic to a wrestling angle. Don't forget about the Black Scorpion and Higher Power angles; those'll prove that that's a bad idea.

Decent show today. Why is Homicide booked so horribly? Outiside of the incredible, but too short Daniels/Styles feud, has Homicide done anything other than stomp, throw punches, and pin the person after a Border Toss or Konnan interference?
