Probably. R-Truth would have to be Blaster. I guess Eve is Arcee. I'd say Sheamus is Shockwave. Is The Great Khali Grimlock? Maybe John Morrison is Hot Rod, but he'll never become Rodimus Prime.

As for the rest of Nexus...
Justin Gabriel = Thundercracker Heath Slater = Skywarp Husky Harris = Ramjet Mike McGillicuddy = Dirge
Skip Sheffield = Blitzwing?

Theory: Randy Orton is the power behind Nexus. He got the title during their war on Cena/Sheamus, and he's kept Cena in torture with the Nexus internship.
At Survivor Series, Cena will agonize about the PPV stipulation, make his decision, and see it rendered moot by the Orton/Nexus revelation. Cena runs the Nexus gauntlet and chases Orton for the title match at WM.
This lets the WWE keep Cena face and provides the big face-to-heel turn we suspected this angle would provide. Except it's Orton because he, unlike Cena, remembers they hate each other.

I am thinking Miz comes off as Rumble as someone how runs their mouth a lot and usually gets his ass kicked. The jets make the most sense of being Nexus since they barely talked too. I guess Soundwave would be Sheamus since both have weird voices. Orton is Ultra Magnus, has the matrix and no idea what to do with it expect stand around and wait to be accepted.
Given the anointing of Otunga as Starscream and the teasing of his eventual usurpation/breaking away from the Nexus, I wonder who will be the Combaticons in this scenario.
Also, I never knew Transformers applied so neatly to wrestling before today. Funny, that.

Highlight of the entire show was Punk on commentary, specifically his claim that the only thing that Shawn Michaels ever did for Bryan was "take $3,000 from him."

It looks like my prediction from a few months ago that the Nexus is all a front for sinister operations planned by an ancient Druid cabal were very much on target.
Originally posted by Me, back in JuneThe eventual replays and screencaps will show that the hooded limo driver could only have been a druid. One of the very same druids who would have surely had access to The Undertaker during the weekend before he was found in a vegetative state by his brother, Kane. NXT leader Wade Barrett is from Manchester, just hours from where the Council of British Druid Orders clashed with local officials over the handdling of the ancient remains of a child in the very same month this year that NXT debuted. This whole thing goes so much deeper than any of you can possibly fathom.
Validation! When Misterio and the Swagger Soaring Eagle are killed by giant snakes and bugs coming out of their masks on Halloween, you'll all realize how right I've been all this time. Punk and Joey Mercury should thank the Big Show for saving their lives.
Also, the extra 'd' in 'handdling' in that quote above was for druids.

Racist! Truth is Wheelie. They both spit rhymes, they both breakdance and both shoot robot dinosaurs in the face with slingshots. The last one just rarely comes up as an opportunity on TV for Truth since coming back to WWE, much like Wheelie very rarely got to speak out on his battle to quit smoking like Truth used to in TNA.

He went JUST long enough to make you think he was going to take the show hostage. I loved it. I love Toby Keith. The only thing that would have capped it off is if he'd somehow found a way to suplex somebody out of a battle royal. Too bad he wasn't hosting during the "hands-on" guest host era as he surely would have booked himself to do this somehow.

Forgive me, but that's a pretty dumb theory. (When you turn out to be correct, remind me to ban myself for a week)

Dr Unlikely never misses the best lines.
This is a leftover comment from Bragging Rights, but I BELIEVE Aksana actually got closer to kissing Ted DiBiase than Goldust ever got to kissing her. Hopefully 'dust can make that move by the end of the wedding ceremony - assuming it isn't stopped, which is a bold assumption for pro wrestling weddings.
Originally posted by redsoxnationI don't know if we are going to need Bob Geigel or someone to go to the Library of Congress to get the 1933 NWA rulebook, but, does the multiple mentioning during the Bryan/Ziggler match of Punk destroying Evan Bourne continue the losing streak?
My dream is that Bourne is drafted to Smackdown, returns on that show to pose on the ramp, gets kicked by Sheamus, goes to Smackdown, and the streak lives forever.
I kind of like Miz dropping down to do whatever because it makes you forget about the briefcase so that when he springs it it's like "oh yeah, oh shit." Then again, I don't see him doing it anytime soon.
I can't wait for Nexus to kill Otunga, I just hope they kill him so hard that he goes away like the rest of 'ems to learn how to wrestle. Otunga as a stoic babyface standing strong against Nexus saying GOOGLE THIS and kamikaze attacking sounds embarrassing.
Does Toby Keith think the Packers won the 2007 NFC Championship Game or did he play in the parking lot in 1996?
Punk/Bryan is a perfect match for both guys on TV and politically. Punk finally gets something to do, and that something is have great matches. Bryan gets to work with someone he knows and Punk has enough input into his programs that Bryan finally gets to do a feud that's not "internet geek guy is doubted." Bryan even got a win on Raw for the first time since he came back. The whole point of Punk's commentary seemed to be to blow off all the previous Daniel Bryan announcing as stupid. It's kind of like DDP elevating Raven in WCW, except in this case Raven is Benoit, and if I give you guys enough time you can tell me how they're all transformers. All in all, This Internet Man is excited! While Punk's at it, can he do something for Kaval?

On the other hand, Punk giving props to Regal as Daniel Bryan's real trainer and taking a shot at HBK...whoa! ___________________________________________________________
As good as the match was last night (and it was good), CM Punk's commentary just makes everything better. Since CM Punk is "scouting", I wonder if he starting another SES. Daniel Bryan lives a strict lifestyle which would make sense for CM Punk applauding (even if it was a slow applause) for Daniel Bryan (but I hope Punk really ventures back into singles competition and no stables).
I did not really like the tag titles changing hands in Nexus because like any other stable (such as the Freebirds), they could just defend the tag titles with whom-ever (but for storyline purposes, I guess it makes some sense).
First of all, I think I could watch Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler wrestle all day long. Hope to see more of it soon.
Then the addition of Husky Harris and Michael McG to the Nexus. In my opinion this group never looked stronger.
And last but not least, the Nexus storyline in itself. It is so well written and nothing is rushed. The thing with Otunga. And I also really like the new twist of having John Cena as the ref at SS, while adding the stipulation, that if Cena makes Orton lose, he'll be a free man. This really is the best storyline since Austin/Mc Mahon. You have to give credit where credit is due.
What I don't like is the direction the Miz is going. I think he lost some speed on his way up. But that's nothing they can't fix with a few wins or promos.

Lets not go crazy here. When this thing first started we had people saying this was going to be the story of the year if not ever. Since then, this storyline had died at SummerSlam, yet somehow came back to life in a big way. I admit, I didn't see it coming and it has been a good story, but its not Austin/McMahon. No one outside of wrestling is talking about it, its not moving the ratings or buyrates and hasn't had a MOTY candidate or a great match to be honest. And if you believe the rumors, the Nexus shirts sales have not gone the way Vince expected to them to do like the NWO or Austin:316 where they were almost everywhere.
I will give the WWE credit that it is the story of the year and maybe of the last few. Yet, its not the epic story that is going to return Vince into a Billionaire or WWE back into the mainstream. Its good for us, wrestling fans who have suffered through a lot of stale shit in the last few years and finally rewarded with a good story. Austin/McMahon, Hogan vs. the Heenan family, the Horsemen and the NWO as well as McMahon/Helmsley were all epic stories that made the way for money to come in as well as create new stars for the mainstream. Nexus hasn't done that and probably never will its the Willow to those stories' Lord of the Rings. Yeah, its a good story, but nothing is going to top the Two Towers fight.

This is a really good idea that makes sense and totally fits all the characters involved. Orton and Cena have history. Orton has a pattern of being associated with stables (Evolution, Legacy).
The only issue would be why Orton would want to risk having Cena help Barrett win the title.

Santino is crap. The guy has done well with what he has been given, but so has Hornswaggle.
Is there a way to repackage Dolph Ziggler and give him a better name? It's just brutally bad, not Kenny Dykstra bad but it's dumb enough to where you aren't going to be thrilled telling someone who doesn't watch much wrestling who that guy is.
Bryan/Punk might be the best thing to come along in a long time. That's at least eight to ten minutes a Raw that will be worth looking forward to and probably 20 minutes of excellent PPV wrestling.

The name fit his initial SmackDown run because it felt like a throwback gimmick even to the clothes and finisher name. That had a retro chic about it. I enjoyed all that when he was a goofy egotistical heel. But if his gimmick drifts toward the Angle/Bryan/Punk heavy moveset style, I think he needs a change.
They could do it as the payoff to the Vickie angle. He could give himself a fresh start with a new name.

He really has one of the worst names in wrestling. I've never really given the guy much of a chance, but last night's mach against Bryan was really good. But what the hell are they recycling the Edge/Vickie angle for?? Good lord. If ever there was a definition of X-Pac heat.

Let me finish that sentence fragment for you: If ever there was a definition of X-Pac heat... what Vickie possesses and generates would be just about the exact opposite of it.

For bad names, I think it's something like this, worst is first:

Vickie is horrible. And not in an effective heel way, in a turn the channel way. A good heel makes you want to see them get their ass kicked, not avoid the program altogether. I can't even stand watching her get humiliated.
