Nice of you to not post, I am a bit of a sadist post after the Czban post. Not that I could actually read most of your posts anyway without my reading glasses. As for the DJ comment, yeah, but any cheap shot to the Hall of Fame is a good shot. I love Jeter though. It s hypocritical for you to slam me on arguing for the sake of arguing when your post had nothing to do with wrestling at all. It was just so you can jump on the bandwagon, same thing as this post. I am such an asshole, I threw up the new Venture Brothers trailer link in Movies and TV for everyone.

Unless something's recently changed, Triple H's recent arm surgery will still keep him out for another one to three months. (prowrestling.net article from a month ago.)

S it hypocritical of me to point out that, in fact, I commented on three very specific points of the wrestling show, including one part that has been quoted twice...IN THIS VERY THREAD?

I'll give you this, lotjx, you've convinced me that you don't actually read anything anyone posts past the phrase that gets your bizarro mind working on the poorly-formed response.

If no one minds, I'd like to steer the RAW thread for a moment to an entirely different subject relating to RAW - the numbering of episodes.

I'm going to RAW in Boston on 8/30. This is being advertised as the historic 900th EPISODE OF RAW! To wit:

http://www.wwe.com/schedules/events/rw/eventdetail/14786322

Except according to the numbering here, this week is RAW #898.

Which means, if my ability to add one number more than the previous number is correct, next week's RAW, 8/16 (which I will likely also be attending at Staples Center), is #899.

So, uh, what number is the RAW on 8/23? RAW #899.5? RAW #899V2.0?

It's kinda like how Danielson is still under no-compete until September so I really don't think we'd be seeing HIM Sunday either.

I would think Danielson's no-compete clause merely stops him from working for other companies. If WWE chose to rehire him today I can't believe they would be unable to do so.

Note I don't think they will be doing that, but I think that is more likely just waiting until later this year to rehire him, rather than for any contractual reasons.

Not that I sincerely expect Danielson to show up, but a WWE no-compete clause isn't going to prohibit him from working for WWE.

EDIT: what he said

I'm fairly certain Trips will not be at SummerSlam because if I'm not mistaken he had surgery of some sort just a month ago.

To get back to RAW, I am 100% on board with Sheamus as WWE Champion now and for a long time. I love his promos and his work in the ring is much better.

I know I said this before, but I love "fella" almost as much as I loved "jambronie".

As for Orton, I still do not get the love for him, but I see the crowd reactions and know why they continue to push him. Maybe it is my utter hatred for him that has my blinders on to anything positive he does. But, i will no longer "fight city hall" on this one. The live drowds LOVE him and that is what counts for WWE. So be it.

I am on board with Miz losing the MitB cash in, but then winning the title outriight down the line. He deserves it. But as much as he has been great, I do miss the Jericho/Miz tag team. That ended way too soon. I hope after Nexus is done, Jericho, Miz and Edge form some sort of bond/stable and grab the singles title and tag titles.

Good RAW. Great crowd.

Life is hilariously cruel.

I think they've fudged the numbers before for other milestones number shows for both RAW and Smackdown. I think it may have to do with scheduling or venue as it's more than likely to be a 3-hour 'super' episode. Wikipedia tells me that the 800th RAW was 'celebrated' on November 3rd, 2008, but the actual 800th episode was September 22, 2008.

At least with the 900th one it is only off by a week.

Of course, it's also possible that I screwed up in the numbering of the threads sometime during the, oh....more than three years I've been doing this now? That's kind of a long time!

I don't necessarily expect Triple H to be back so soon, but with Bret Hart being involved in this match already, Triple H would not be my biggest concern on the injury front. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but every time Bret Hart steps in or around a ring during a live broadcast I'm absolutely terrified that he's going to get himself killed or crippled for life.

Edge came back earlier than people expected (although not as early as Cena) too at the Rumble didn't he? I could see Triple H doing the same sort of thing, really.

Show up, stand on the apron for most of the match, get tagged in and clean house without reeeally exerting himself and win the match (or do whatever sports entertainment ending they have planned). Then spend the next month just doing promos on RAW and getting interrupted. It seems to be how big name guys make their return.

For the record, my girlfriend is adamant that The Rock will be the surprise last man, given his comments about planning something with the WWE for the summer a while back.

Lets go to Odds Makers to see what the percentages are for that person to show up and if they do what is the effect.

Bryan Danielson-50% chance of turning up to stop Nexus.
35% chance of turning up to help Nexus.

Vince- 35% chance of turning up to stop Nexus.
35% chance of turning up to help Nexus.

HHH-50% chance of turning up to stop Nexus.
60% chance of turning up to help Nexus.
40% chance of being the new GM.

Miz-60% chance of turning up to stop Nexus.
65% chance of turning up to help Nexus.

HBK- 10% chance of turning up to stop Nexus.
5% chance of turning up to help Nexus.
25% chance of being the new GM.

The Rock- 1% chance of turning up to stop Nexus.
10% chance of helping Nexus.
15% chance of being the new GM.

In my mind, Miz will say he is going to help somehow get involved in Orton/Sheamus, loses his Money in the Bank shot and pouts about it for the rest of the show. Vince is not going to wrestle with Bret Hart that makes no sense and also if he came back, he should be in an administrative way, no one is scared of Vince the wrestler, regardless of how many matches past superstars carried him too. HBK is too soon, but he is probably getting a little bored at home. Yet, busting him out against Nexus is way too early for him. GM maybe though.

The Rock coming back to fight Nexus is overkill. Rock needs to come back when a faction actually owns the WWE not in its infant stage. Maybe if Nexus won and Cena is gone for October like its rumored then maybe bust out Rock til then I think he is more inclined to be the GM. HHH coming back means he will come back as a face for a month enough time to depose of Sheamus, reveal he is the GM then use Nexus as cannon fodder which would lead to a re-run at best of McMahon/Hemsley or worst Evolution. I still think Miz is the odds on favorite to be in the match even with the Orton/Sheamus going on before what I think the main event will be Nexus vs. Team Raw.

Is Miz so awesome he goes up to 125%, or is there a 40% chance he does both? I don't know, because you go on to say both are unlikely to happen (usually represented by numbers less than 50%.)

There is not a 26% chance Rock is coming back at SummerSlam.

There is not a 2.6% chance Rock is coming back at SummerSlam.

There is not a .26% chance Rock is coming back at SummerSlam.

Most of the other numbers are just as silly and unattached with common sense.
