THIS.

And I don't remember a host announcement for next week, either. THE EXPERIMENT IS DEAD! *breaks out the celebratory Jack Daniels*

(snatches away, puts back in the bar)

Rob Zombie's scheduled for next week. And July 12? Florence Fuckin' Henderson.

This sounded like a better scripted episode. Sheamus and Dibiase had good lines, and Natalya's Hart line is catchphrase-worthy.

At least White has a current cultural cache. It would be something of a coup for the WWE to get her. But Henderson only reminds me of JR's painfully outdated cultural references. Even the oddball WWE connection of her saying "I've got two words for you: suck it" in an Eddie Murphy movie happened 12 years ago (Holy Man, 1998).

So, since the WWE seems to be on full fledged auto piolet right now, I don't see this angle ending well for the NXT guys. It reminds me of when the ECW guys got together during the WCW Invasion. It was unexpected and it was awesome, but it was followed up with little solid logic and terrible angles and the whole thing was over with a wimper in no time at all.

I guess that's a better fate than these guys turning into the Spirit Squad.

After she was on SNL, there were reports of WWE trying for her.

I bet this is the third straight week you've said this. I'm gonna keep looking forward to the weekly 'this angle is doomed! next week!' posts I keep reading though. Three weeks and still no hope.

Count me in as those won over by Sheamus. I actually beleived that they were going to turn him face with his speech about not winning the title the "right way". I thought that was a good way for him to win over some fans. But then it turned out to be a rouse. Good for him - I bought it hook line and sinker. I now see him as a credible title holder and love his use of "fella". Not since "jabroni" have a I loved a word use to describe someone in a deragoatory way as "fella". Kudos Sheamus.

Life is hilariously cruel.

That was the cameraman in the ring with him. He put the camera down and yelled for "Stu" to get help and then there was a "Stu!" chant as they went off the air.

Wade Barrett's real name is Stu Bennett. The real GM = Wade Barrett's split personality subconsciousness a la Fight Club (spoilers!).

That cameraman's been around a while.

I haven't posted in a Raw thread since Raw 5/31, so I'll take that bet all day chump. Then again why should I be surprised that Psycho Penguin posted again without checking his facts?

Thanks SEADAWG.

That clip is a reminder of how great The Rock was.

It makes Cena's current emotional "Ladies and Gentlemen" promos even more bland than they already seem.

This must be the song Barrett has been writing and recording ever since he won his own theme music on like the third week of NXT.

The Shawn segment was like a bright daylight. I swear, Shawn has always has a charisma like no one else in the freakin' business. And he really only needs to show his face to make Confidential watchable. The Randy segment was like cold, dark night.
