I was asking myself the same question, but for a different reason. In the ring, Forte wasn't all that shorter than Kozlov. I mean, Kozlov was definitely taller, but he didn't tower over him the way you'd expect a giant wrestler to tower over a non-wrestling actor.

I can't really say I was a fan of the blowing up R-Truth thing. I know nobody else sees it that way, but it just seemed like another reminder of Vince's attitude towards certain wrestlers, much like HHH's "you people" feud with Booker T, or Vince thinking he had to remind Shelton Benjamin of what color he was in a skit on RAW...

And on the anniversary of the OKC bombing?

Of course, I've been known to have no sense of humor, so...

It seems really petty to complain about a free 15-minute match with a clean finish, but I agree that a clean loss for Swagger was not the best way to go. He just needs to be protected more. Giving him another loss this soon in his run really makes me concerned that Orton's taking the belt at the PPV, and even if he is, they should still be trying to convince us that Swagger has a chance of winning.

Right, and they have done very little to protect Swagger. What does losing twice already to Orton and now to Taker really do for the guy? So what if he can hang with the big boys? I just don't get why you don't want to book your champion to look strong. It makes no sense. As I said earlier, just don't book him against Taker if you won't let him get the pin. Build him up for the PPV with a strong win over someone like Matt Hardy or R-Truth instead.

Orton should not win the belt this soon. This type of face turn/chasing the title would be a nice program to build to SummerSlam.

Normally I would give my opinions on well or how run-down the show was but given the circumstances, Raw will get a neutral rating on my part.

The 'Taker and Swagger match was a solid match for a t.v. match and I have not seen Swagger in a horrible match yet which to me means that the guy can put on a good match with just about anyone.

It was expected that Undertaker would win but some people (including myself) just don't know where the WWE or what the WWE is going to do with Swagger; are they going to keep the belt on him and make him look like a champion or is Swagger going to have a brief run as champion? Regardless, good showing on Swagger and Undertaker despite his injuries.

So much for the soul-searching that Khali was going to do and my hopes of not seeing him for awhile. Khaluber? I didn't know whether to chuckle or just look away in shame. Koslov is very near to being "future endeavored" as he is just about completely irrelevant at this point. That is the first time I have seen Koslov on either Raw or Smackdown in quite some time.....not normally the best sign.

The 6 man tag was good as everyone in there knows how to work well in the ring and create some chemistry.

Other notes.....what the heck was the explosion with R-Truth? He is blown-up one day and chances are he will return to Smackdown the next day. I get why they did it because of MacGruber's skits and with explosions but still, it was just a little too corny.

As for Smackdown this week, it will be like watching 2 episodes in one week when WWE management had to use some Smackdown superstars to fill the voids on last night's Raw. However, I am definitely looking forward to Raw with the lottery after Extreme Rules.

I know when I want to build someone up, I have them beat R-Truth or Matt Hardy and not have them go toe to toe with Undertaker for 15 minutes. That'll get him over. Thats why Kozlov is credible, all the wins over midcarders he's had.

When did Carlito lose to Orton, Orton, and Undertaker on RAW in a row? Also throw in a win over Edge and Jericho on Smackdown by the way. And a win over Morrison. Since he's a Smackdown guy, those count.

Christ, am I the only one that's figured out wins and losses in the WWE mean very little nowadays?

For a made main eventer, it means jack squat. For someone fresh out of the midcard who needs credibility, it means a lot when he constantly loses to the main eventers.

Oh, and

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
Swagger losses to Morrisson on this week's Smackdown.

(There's nothing this illuminating about Undertaker/Swagger.)

I would laugh and laugh and laugh if Luke turned face, and immediately became a drugged-out Festus again.

I think it's a lot less credible if the guy is going from losing to Santino to beating Undertaker after barely winning a ten man ladder match. They're pushing Swagger the right way. He's gaining credibility just by hanging in there with the main eventers.

I am not a fan of Luke Gallows going face if it happens; the main (if not) the only reason why Luke Gallows is in the realm of relevance is because the WWE has done a good job with him as a heel with the SES. I really don't see Gallows carrying himself enough if he turns face and heads out on his own. Maybe I am wrong but in my opinion, Luke Gallows just doesn't have the makings of being a superstar in singles competition. Then again, who says he can't be a face and not tag with someone (and hopefully not turn back into Festus or something of the other).

Its good of Punk to think long term for his character as well as Gallows. Jericho might has well have eaten the pin, so wins and losses don't seem to matter to him or to the WWE. I disagres though with wins and losses as well. Jericho has accomplished enough that he can lose a lot, but his mic skills as well as his out of the ring actions keep him a viable acquisition in the main event scene. Swagger on the other hand has does not have the credibility to take these many loses.

I also don't think he has been shown hanging in there was the big dogs minus Edge/Jericho and even then he got the out of nowhere pin. He did a nice job of destroying Edge, but then a few days later he jobs to Taker in a rather lackluster fashion. I don't know what they are thinking other then having a paper champion til Orton takes out this Sunday or until the PPV after this one after he cheats his way to beating Randy this Sunday. Maybe they will give him someone or a faction to help him out. At this point, I think he is a dud champ.

Disagree. He was made to look like a total chump before winning the title and once he won the title they stripped away his personality and he's still jobbing plenty. He has made to look like a very weak champion.

You know who else jobbbed a lot? The Rock. Kurt Angle. Punk jobs every week now. Just saying. Wins and losses DON'T MATTER.

And he was undefeated on Smackdown til this week apparently. I like how that's constantly ignored, and you wonder why the WWE considers RAW the flagship show.

He's wrestled all of what 4 matches on Smackdown? Outside of Punk the guys you mentioned had strong title reigns. These title reigns where guys look like chumps do nothing at all for anyone.
