Um, excuse me, all of the divas are smart, sexy and powerful. That's THREE definitions right there! What more do you want?!

    Go for it!

i feel cheated that we didn't get a montage to No Easy Way Out, with Cena driving around in that red car he had a week or two ago, questioning himself, and then training with big slabs of beef.

If Vince is willing to be utterly humiliated (and when has he ever shied away from that?) and Bret is apparently willing to work a gimmick match or two, it seems entirely feasible that we might get Hart/Vince at 'Mania, no?

Agree, I only see Bret returning if it is on Canadian soil. Unless they do this via satellite.
Yeah, Canada is the way to go. Refer to the RAW Sgt. Slaughter hosted where Bret's music blasted out of the speakers to a loud reaction...only to have Jim Duggan walk out.

Well, beyond the fact that this has been rumoured just about EVERY year since WCW went out of business and it has never happened, there are other reasons it would probably never go down. Bret has very serious and permanent physical limitations. He cannot fall down because after his stroke his arms are unable to support more than a certain amount of weight; he'd be unable to brace himself or protect himself properly in order to take any kind of bump. Yes, he has come a long way, but still, it would not be the Bret we would want to see. Even if it was a one-way squash, he can't leap off the buckle for an elbow smash or do his signatures very well. And considering how prideful he always was about the quality of his ring-work, you've got to imagine he would be reluctant to be part of anything physical. That being said he seems to have let go of a lot of his bitterness and was heard to remark, even after his book came out, that he is even ready finally to bury the hatchet with Shawn and would consider being the guy to induct him into the HOF (something Shawn had originally suggested). So emotionally, psychlogically after everything he's been through, I think he could be a part of something, hosting even, but unless some medical miracle took place that we haven't heard about, it really cannot be a match.

Meltzer writes in the Observer that Bret is coming back on January 4th, has signed a contract to appear as a TV character through Wrestlemania, and that Vince claims he will do a shortcut match but that Vince claimed the same thing in 2006 and Bret wouldn't do it so that part remains to be seen.

TNA tries to fight the WWE with Hogan. The WWE responds with Bret.

What year is it?

It's not just that she's hot. Maria is still popular because she's one of the only Divas who actually has a personality. Maybe I'm just being too smarky, but how does any of that win her an award this year? Not denying she's not attractive, but it's not like she's in a league of her own when it comes to looks so even that gives me pause to contemplate if this vote was rigged or not. Her character has rarely been on display this year. Not a fan Maryse, but some would say she's prettier than Maria, has a more defined personality that was on full display this year, and is competent in the ring. Everyone else sort of falls into one of those three dimensions. Mickie/Natalya/Beth/Gail would be in-ring. Layla/Eve/Rosa/Kelly Kelly have the looks.

I don't know, it just strikes me funny now that I mention Kelly Kelly, who's on Raw, which means she's seen by more people, who's an attractive young blonde that at least has a modicum of in ring prowess. Has a character - even if it's plucky baby face just happy to be there - that once again, has been on display this year.

Yeah, I just wasted ten or so minutes discussing a pointless award in a predetermined sport. Such is life.

Cena can't be beat because he's some unholy genetic recombinate of superstars past. I mean, you might as well call him John "Realest of the Real, Sargent Rock - Cold - A - Mania" Cena.

There's no Raw booked in Canada between now and Wrestlemania. Should they just scrap the whole angle, then?

No Easy Way Out was IV after Rocky signed to fight Drago to avenge Creed.
It wouldn't be Edge and Cena, it would be Bradshaw and Cena, as Bradshaw is who he beat to become champ for the first time.
As for Vince vs. Bret: Only interesting part would be if Vince would actually 'screw' him again if Bret put himself in some sort of pinning predicament. Plus, Vince would by right have to win the match anyway, as Mania is being held in Arizona, thus Vince could not conceivably be expected to lose in his home country.

WWE is not concerned with TNA on monday, but (if its all true) just happen to sign themselves the biggest name they could possibly get outside of the president or something.

Hogan could spark some interest amongst wrestling fans who want to see how he fucks up TNA his first night.

But now Raw has Bret Hart. The guy that we thought we'd never see again on Raw. The man that has HUGE history with HHH and HBK, two staples of Raw. And Vince of course. He could be there in person..with a live mic.

This is actually much more interesting than having the Rock host the show. that would be comedic fun. A few fun promos and thats it. But Bret? That blows Hogan out of the water.

A mainstream ratings booster? No. But I think they just made sure nobody even cares about Hogan ranting about the new future on TNA.

Only the second monthly PPV AJ has missed. Joe doesn't have a match. Daniels is still doing nothing. If they let Alex Shelley wrestle for a hour and a half then maybe I could be excited about this PPV but somehow I don't think that is happening.
