One of his first's nights on RAW, Goldberg was walking around backstage and ran into Goldust. Goldust wanted to try to "help him or something" so he took that long blond wig that he(Goldust) wears and put it on Goldberg.

Since nobody else will do it, I'll give props to Rosie. He was the highlight of the show for me and looks to be putting real effort into his role.

Also, Goldberg still doesn't hold a pinfall victory over Ric Flair and hopefully never will.

I also marked out for Goldust as Lance Storm's mentor. I have a feeling it'll lead to Storm going nuts and taking his seriousness to an all new level and returning to WCW levels of ass-kicking.

And I'll throw my prediction in on the Elimination Chamber as well. Randy Orton eliminates HHH. If Jericho loses the hair vs hair match, I'll pick him as the winner of the Elimination Chamber. If Jericho wins, I'll pick him to be the last eliminated w/ Goldberg going over as the champion.

As for the show itself, I'd say mediocre. That's quite a ways above sucks. I wouldn't have regretted missing it, but I don't regret watching it either.

Blase' show that reaked of last minute changes. After last week's hum drum offering, I'm predicting a ratings fall.

I like the Elimination Chamber match and it makes sense to squeeze a bunch of guys into one half hour bout. That solved the "not enough time on the show" problem right quick.

I'm digging Rosie more and more. He's clowning the gimmick just like he should.

I also like that they're putting Kane in a match with a real wrestler so they can wrestle. Hopefully they'll turn it up a notch to make it worthwhile.

Whenever the Jericho / Nash hair vs. hair match takes place, of course Chris will lose. Nash doesn't play the crybaby nearly as well Jericho. Then, Jericho pulls out some SHENANNAGINS to punk out Nash on Raw and shave his hair in revenge. Keep in mind Jericho never said he was going to beat Nash in the match - just that he was going to shave him bald.

If they're gonna turn Orton face, which would be too soon IMO, they'll probably have him eliminate Tripps, with Tripps interfering later so someone else (Goldberg? Nash?) can win. If they're keeping him heel, he just might win the title and have Evolution to back him up as a weak champion slowly coming into his own, leading to an eventual face turn (that would be a good idea). What'll probably happen is that Tripps eliminates everybody, and then squashes Booker T, Kane and RVD as they run in.

Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.

Every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be damned if I'm going to miss it after sitting through this shit.

What the hell is this stuff about RVD not selling? RVD was making each and every one of Jericho's dropkicks look like absolute MURDER

Yeesh.....who cares if he shakes off submissions, when he flops around like he was in a car wreck from a kick to the shin.....

...doesn't Scott Keith live in Edmonton? I might be wrong, but he ain't in Vancouver. Unless he went to the show, which he'd mention. (shrug)

(checks anyway) Yep, his profile sez Edmonton. Ergo, he'd be flooding his hometown, not Vancouver.

I think that's quite enough discussion of SK's bodily fluids, so I'll just say that Rosie at least looks like he's having fun. Also, Lawler can eat my ass. Shut up about JR. Coach ignoring him worked for me.

Though Coach did admit it when Y2J got the POP OF THE NIGHT, he lied bald-faced to us when he told us "nobody likes Christian". When he got cheered HUGE and there were about 50 pro-Christian signs. Ah, well. At least he wasn't as bad as King, who needs to be thrown off a large building.

JR's coming back next week? Good, I can listen to that fat idiot jabber on about slobberknockers and all his other darling catchphrases. God I hope King makes a BBQ sauce joke, that would almost redeem him.

Overall lackluster I felt, though Kane did destroy Shane like I wanted. Pity he didn't then proceed to beat up Bischoff too, just to show how out of control he really is. I mean, can't you imagine Bischoff pushing past Kane to yell in Shane's face, then Kane looming over him until he turns around and chokeslams him on top of Shane o' Mac's carcass?

Dunno about this "Elimination Chamber" stuff ... too many friends in there, for one thing. Nash and Michaels, Orton and HHH ... though they'll probably make sure that they're occupied with other people the entire match. I can't get PPVs anyway, so no skin off my back.

After about a month of great RAWs, these past two have been REALLY sub-par. I hope they figure out what they're doing, and soon.

I really liked S.H.I.T., I admit. And Hurricane is just awesome.

This show seemed like it was written 10 minutes before it started. Did they really need to overhaul the entire uppercard in order to put on a new main-event in order to compensate for Triple H's injury? If it's that bad, why not just put Jericho and Michaels in there and make it a four ways since those 2 actually HAVE an issue with each other and can carry the match?

So I guess that's the end of Kane vs. Shane...Kane gets dropped last week, Shane gets dropped tonight...no match is forthcoming so it's the end. Nice build up to RVD vs. Kane at Summerslam.

What brain surgeon decided to ditch Flair's music for that shitty Motorhead theme? Speaking of the Man, his backstage conversations with Evolution; why does he like watching Triple H have sex? Isn't this like the 3rd time he's provided an on-the-scene account?

RVD vs. Jericho was pretty good and at least they ditched Shane vs. Kane (this month at least) so thank god for small favors.

The first match was ho hum, but i thought the rest of the show was good.

I'm surprised that more people aren't talking about the women's match. That move that Victoria did on Trish outside the ring looked like it screwed up Victoria's knee AND Trish's back, that could be a major hit to the division.

Hopefully Lance showed the non-believers that he does have character. His facial expressions are right up there with Tajiri and Regal.

I liked both of the changes to the ppv. Even though I wouldn't mind seeing Shane bump like a madman Rob is probably the one that should get the ppv match since they've been feuding. And the Elimination Chamber is great for me. I thought the first one was pretty good. Putting HBK and Jericho in the main event is great with me. Should make the match better too. Also they combine three matches into one, making more room for more wrestlers.

I love the idea of a Jericho vs. Nash match. Even though the negative people on this board are going to say Jericho doesn't stand a chance I think it's pretty 50-50 for who is going to win. Also I think it also matters because their hair is such a big part of their character and they are two guys who have been mega-over at some point. It's not like in WCW when they had mask matches with guys like Juvy that the majority of the people didn't care about.

Kane tombstoning Shane on the stairs was great but I don't know what the point of having Shane vs. Bischoff was when they could've just let Shane have his match with Kane. I'm kind of scared that this is going to lead to an actual Bischoff vs. Shane match at the ppv.

As for the Shane vs. Bischoff history Coach was talking about, well Bischoff WAS trying to put the family business out of business, not that hard to see that there could be hard feelings between the two.

On the upside, they realized that Kane/Shane McMahon would be a disaster, so they ditched in favor of Kane/RVD. That shows SOME effort. But then, shouldn't somebody think about BUILDING a Kane/RVD match instead of coninuing the Kane/Shane feud?

Triple HGH must have injured himself more seriously than we thought if WWE's resorting to the Elimination Chamber. But we can't have Hunter dropping his title to a primadonna like Goldberg, so it's time to bring in Hunter's friends. Take your guesses now. Who takes the belt: Nash or HBK? You know Jericho isn't touching the belt. And they'd be INSANE to give it to Orton. If they wanted to give it to Goldberg, they would have left it one-on-one to begin with, so the writing's pretty much on the wall for him.

I guess Raw's gonna try and bring viewers back with a Hair vs. Hair match and if you can't see who's gonna lose this match, then you obviously haven't been paying attention to WWE's company policy. "Long hair for male wrestlers is strictly prohibited (unless you're a Clique member)" For past precedent, see: Christian, Test, Hurricane, Kane, Kidman, Undertaker, Big Show, etc. If I was RVD or Edge, I'd just head out to a barber now.

I guess in order to bring SOME intrigue to the RVD/Kane match and to try and make fans forget about the last time they saw RVD, they had him go over Jericho cleanly. Judge for yourself whether this helped or not. I'd rather stay silent on this issue or I'll go off on a huge rant.

I won't complain about Lance Storm seeking counsel from Goldust. Anything that gets G-dizzy back on my TV is A-OK with me.

Hey, Booker T wasn't on the show tonight and all we got was a half-assed explanation. The fact that nobody cares shows just how over Booker is these days.

How sad have things become when ROSEY is the most entertaining part of Raw?

If anyone other then Goldberg is to get the belt in the Elimination Chamber that means that one of them has to pin Goldberg. If that's going to be the case, Goldberg may as well just go home now.

Goldberg should win, he should pin Triple H so HHH can cry injury storyline-wise and so Goldberg won't be a lame-duck champion who never pinned the previous champ. Then when HHH comes back they can still get a buyrate out of HHH/Goldberg at Survivor Series. The cynic in me says Goldberg wins but doesn't pin HHH so he's a lame duck DISSAPOINTMENT of a champion then takes his Pedigree at Survivor Series.

Elimination Chamber? What the hell? Oh man, I'm worried about Trips. And I'll be at SS!(If my damned tickets ever come.)

Do you guys think the change in this match is anyway attributed HHH's injury?

What's that? The Hurricane is entertaining me? Whoah shit! This young Roosevelt stuff is growing on me. But I still don't buy the whole bullcutted braces wearing white trash guy.

Shane-Kane will probably main event the RAW before Summerslam...

I'd rather see Hurricane-Roosevelt vs. La Resistance than the N-Dudley-O....

My guess is that Goldberg pins HHH, but is pinned by Jericho in the E. Chamber...

Supposedly awhile back they did go to Edge and asked him to cut his hair. He told them no way.

I can't imagine Edge or RVD with short hair. It just would look odd and un-natural, just like Eddie when he cut his all off.......it just didn't look right.

some random thoughts/comments:

-The show was mildly entertaining to say the least. I was expecting a more storyline oriented show and less wrestling since they just got back from Australia and everyone must be dead. The crowd was pretty hot. Signs galore.

-I don't feel too bad about the SS main event change. Like stated in an earlier post, frees up more time on the show and also gets more people on it. Goldberg will still probably win it by pinning Orton or Jericho, I assume.

-About the whole Kane storyline, I really wasn't too irked by the possibility brought up last week of Shane/Kane at SS. But seeing that they've turned things back towards RVD's direction, it'll be interesting to see how they build this up.

-I think I may have to add Goldie to my markout list. I've always appreciated and loved Dustin's work. As of late, the guy's worked with 3 of my biggest markout guys (Book, Helms, and now Lance). Lance showed some great emotion in his promo and had some great expressions, I must add.

-As a Hurricane mark, I'm enjoying the S.H.I.T. angle. the match with Christian was entertaining too for what it was.

-Isn't Victoria's ACL still messed up which is why she has that big brace? She was supposed to get surgery after Wrestlemania which is why she dropped the belt in the first place, but it looks like that didn't happen. She didn't look alright after that move on Trish.

-Also, I found it ironic that at the end, Shane was supposed to be the one demolished but both Bischoff and Kane were hardway bleeding.

Lastly, some amazing signs out there tonight in Vancouver. Some stand out ones:
-"VKM FEARS EWR"
-"STOP PUSHING TEST!"
-the numerous PEEPS signs
-the spelled out "PENIS" sign near the end of the show

There were more but they escape my thoughts at the moment.

Actually, funny you should mention that.

Edge wrote in his web column a little while back that he has cut his hair, despite -- as he put it -- several borderline death threats from his lady fans.

I'll see if I can... yeah, here it is.

So, yeah. Guess we'll have to wait and see exactly how much hair he took off.

Opening segment was good. Austin pretty much ruled here.

Goldberg-Flair was disappointing.

RVD-Jericho was match of the night.

I'm not looking forward to the Elimination Chamber.

So they have both Storm and Rosey seeking help from other superstars. It would've been better if it was only one.

Main event was alright. The Kane angle continues to rock. Bischoff at the end with the high-fives to the announcers was funny.

Overall, Raw was so-so.
