Speaking of Jeff Hardy, you can already see the demotion before your very eyes as he talks about the IC title, rather than the big prize he was chasing before his suspension. It's a shame, but he has no one but himself to blame.
I do NOT want to see a Roddy the Piper heel turn, because his last heel run as Sean O'Haire's manager didn't exactly light the world on fire. And really, Santino's so entertaining on his own that Piper would just drag him down.
That was a fantastic opening segment and Cena opening the floodgates to the "Fire Regal" chant is brilliant, because now we can start the countdown to the big payoff where Vince McMahon gives us another classic "YOU'RE FIRRRRRRRRRED!"

There is a difference from the O'Haire run, as it was used mainly for Piper to stay active in the dreadful feud with Hogan/Mr. America. At some point though they need to either put the belts on Santino/Carlito or split them up. They've been chasing Negative Charisma since January, something needs to give. | Kevintripod

I actually like Orton's new theme better than the old one, but that is not saying much, as it was maybe my least favorite on the roster.

Orton's "HEY Nothing You Can Say" was horrific and I can sort of see how it could be a babyface entrance music. That being said I thought it fit Orton's destiny/third generation/youngest champ of all time gimmick fairly well.

No, you are correct, sir. On a related note, was this week the return of Orton's Douche Pose? I don't remember him doing it lately.

Yeah, that's true. I just felt they should have changed it once he went back to being heel. I know they tried out that KsE song that became CM Punk's theme, but abandoned it pretty quickly. | Skarecrow

Music was the impetus for Michael Hayes turn on Luger in '89 because they played Luger's music after they won as a team on 3 separate occassions. And, Orndorff stole Real American from Hogan during their feud in '86-'87. | KJames199

Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie feuded over who really sang "Ain't I Great" (or was it another Jarrett "classic"), but I don't know if that was ever entrance music.

| #37 Posted on 16.5.08 0947.32 | I like Orton's new song as a song, but as his entrance theme it is horrible and totally does not suit him. I would have preferred they gave that song to a debuting wrestler or something.
