Agreed. When I see his mug enter the shot for an interview, I change the channel. I did watch the end of the Orton/RVD match, but not for Orton. I was curious as to how RVD was going to be injured, not for anything Orton might do.

From the 'it takes all kinds file', my 12 year old thinks Orton is great, and wondered out loud Monday night how good he's going to be in a couple of years when he "grows up". I'm assuming that translates into 'gets large like Vince likes them', but I didn't ask him.

I could only tell him that I watched his dad wrestle when I was his age.

Either that, or your 12-year-old realizes Orton's an immature prick, and if HE can see that and McMahon can't..........

I'm Charlie Owens, good night, and good luck.

Of course McMahon can see that the guy's an immature prick. He's suspended him several times, and the guy hasn't been collecting a paycheck for a large chunk of the last twelve months. I'm sure Orton cares more about getting paid than looking tougher than guys in worked fights. And firing a guy who they've invested so much time in, when over half of their established stars are on the injured list, would be silly. He's a halfway-decent wrestler, and he's over as a heel. Why should Vince listen to the cries of a small portion of fans when he's much more useful as an unpaid monkey.

To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. But even if they are right, what have they got to lose? Because if they are right, and this instrument is good for nothing but to entertain, amuse and insulate, then the tube is flickering now and we will soon see that the whole struggle is lost. This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires, and lights, in a box.-Edward R. Murrow

Or...OR!...Your kid is just, ya know...being a FAN of the show? And, like, NOT being some smark?

I'm not saying that everyone should completely ignore some of the crap that goes on, but maybe your kid has the right idea by TRYING to just enjoy the show for what it is.

It's just a message board, people. Chill out.

That's what I was getting at -- although I guess I didn't do so well.

I really haven't been this excited about wrestling since ECW returned to WWF TV. It was ruined by the end of the show though, when ECW joined WCW and Stephanie was named their leader.
