Tonight's 125 minutes was (VOTE NOW)

A: An effective "go-home" RAW that sold viewers on the PPV
B: Pretty much a placeholder despite the presence of all three champions
C: A total waste of time and not even as entertaining as the Pats/Vikings rout

The Cutting Edge was alright, but do you think they wanted Coach to face Cena tonight?....Didn't really see the three-way, ....Wow, that Cena promo was interesting. And Grisham showing some balls was funny...."The women's match was thankfully short enough....Triple H/Orton was okay, but the non-clean ending wasn't surprising....I keep thinking they'll do something with Eugene with him being crazy last week and cowering this week, but I'm sure they have no actual direction planned with him....

The legend interview stuff went long, but at least they kinda made you care about that match....Okay, Cryme Tyme stealing the TV was funny....Cryme Tyme's match wasn't too bad....King's complaints about CT stealing his stuff would've been funnier if he hadn't checked his pockets before he set back down....The main event was pretty un-interesting, and I thought they could've done something better to build to the Cyber Sunday main event.

Cryme Tyme stealing the TV was great, I think their antics being so over the top is what makes them work.

Mickie on commentary made me realize one thing. I like her well enough, but she was even better when she was Psycho Mickie.

Did I hear Dusty right, calling Flair the 6 time, 6 time, 6 time champion??? Oops.

Rest of the show, was just kinda there.

Dusty's citation of Flair as the "six-time" world champ trumped Vince calling King Booker the WCW champion.

Yet another blah edition of Raw, which seems to be the norm for this time of year since 2004. Does the Cyber Sunday/Taboo Tuesday concept just inherently suck so much that even the TV leading up to the PPV has to be poor?

What Dusty was trying to say I think was that Ric Flair would become a 6-time tag team champion, having co-held the WCW tag titles with Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine twice and Blackjack Mulligan and with Batista twice in WWE.

Very relieved here as Sky were not going to show Cyber Sunday upto tonight as their deal to show PPV events hadn't included this event.

They finally worked out that it was Taboo Tuesday under a new name and worked out a deal, so hooray the UK gets it's showing !

I'll say one thing positive: The Big Show had the line of the night when he and King Booker were on commentary: "A disappointing performance from the Coach!"

If by "the Coach" Show meant "RAW", there's no question.

Shawn Michaels can call out sick on Sunday. Triple H can handle Edge and Orton all by himself. He's THAT DAMN GOOD. That just sickened me.

The magic of the DVR let me try something a little different last night: I watched the first half of Heroes then at 9:30, switched to RAW and watched the first hour without commercials. When Edge came out to referee (such as it was) Triple H vs. Randy Orton, I switched back to finish off Heroes.

This resulted in a pretty disjointed viewing experience. Best I can recall from last night, Mickie James got to meet her birth parents, which it turned out were just actors hired by Mr. McMahon, who was inexplicably wearing horned rimmed glasses. Then we found out as many on the Heroes thread predicted that Eden was actually working for Horned Rimmed McMahon and for some reason she went to visit Edge, whom she believes is a pre-cog. Since when does Edge paint comic books and get high? I also don't get why Ric Flair wanted the fans to choose between Dusty, Slaughter, Piper, or two Japanese guys to tag with him against The Spirit Squad on Sunday. And I got really confused when Cryme Time fought Niki Sanders in her bedroom, put their hands through her chest and made out with her son and a flat panel plasma TV.

The second hour of RAW made me wish I decided to skip it for Friday Night Lights.

Well, the IC title contenders' match was good ... in the frog's fart amount of time they were given.

I don't think you can blame Cyber Sunday, though. The WWE has always had a big dull spot in the months between Summerslam and the Rumble; even Survivor Series has never managed to draw much interest for me. (I hope that changes this year, because I'm going to SS in person ... my breath, however, remains unheld.)

I'm hoping they won't be crazy enough to put DX over Edge and Orton at Cyber Sunday, because otherwise, all four of them are left without a feud. But then I think back to the Spirit Squad and remember that DX apparently has no objection to beating the same opponents again and again until the point is driven home.

I thought the point was that he jokingly checked his pockets before he sat back down as a rib to their faces, and then realized when he sat down that they'd actually stolen his watch off his wrist.
Ho ho ho, that Cryme Tyme.
