34 Days to WrestleMania! Wait, maybe it's 27. Ah hell, just roll the credits...
Vince, Shane, & 10 Security Guards: the obligatory ten minute ego stroke. Last week's highlights, Carlito & Masters get a shot at the Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania, Vince is on some muscle-builder magazine, and Marty will never be seen in a WWE ring again. Cue HBK's music, and everybody but Vince leaves the ring so HBK can jump Vince from behind, setting up HBK vs. Shane tonight. So much for keeping the match for SNME. Nice suit on Vince, though.
Benjamin vs Flair: Too-short match that sees Flair win by DQ when Benjamin thumbs the ref in the eye. O-kay. Flair beats Benjamin down post-match and gives him two hits of oxygen...tank to the gut.
Money In The Bank promo - it's interpromotionaltastic!
Now, for the build-up to WrestleMania: WrestleMania Rewind Matches (introduced with the classic Wrestlemania theme song!) - new matches using the "classic" pairings.
WM XV Rewind - Kane vs HHH: Decent by-the-numbers match. End begins when Masters, then Carlito, show up and ringpost Kane, leading to the Pedigree.
SNME - March 18th, NBC, 8 P.M. Eastern. The Main Event: Mysterio/Orton/Angle vs Cena/HHH.
Backstage, some Diva drivel, followed by - HBK meets The Two Stephanies! Good Lord ALIVE, pregnancy has made Stephanie W-I-D-E. Steph apologizes for Vince and Shane first, then feigns a cramp so she can drug HBK's water.
Candice Michelle's Playboy Cover: Candice & Victoria attack Tori, then kiss. Next.
Shane vs HBComatose: Shane beats up Shawn, Shane pins Shawn, Vince pins Shawn, the Spirit Squad comes out to celebrate. The crowd looks bored out of their MINDS.
Eugene vs SS Kenny: starts with a game of Keep Away, doesn't get better. Next.
This Week In Wrestling History: 3/1/86 - Hulk Hogan beats Muraco, gets jumped by King Kong Bundy.
Lita vs Maria: Lita wins, Mick Foley saves Maria, Edge spears and Conchairtos Foley. Next.
Sensational Sherri is next in the Hall of Fame; Trish tells Micki that she needs some "time apart".
WM XX Rewind - Cena vs Show: OK match at best. Carlito & Masters try to interfere, but Kane runs them off. Cena suplexes Show (which the live camera misses completely), then FU's Show. HHH and Mjolnir watch from ringside as Cena pins Show.
I'm busy the next few weeks - anybody else want to pick this up?

Wiener Of The Day - June 10th, 2003 W Of The Day - September 11th, 2004 (add spooky music here)
Surprised with Marty (allegedly) gone, they'd give so much time to him in the opening video package....It'd be funnier if they had Brisco/Patterson v2.0 in Johnny Ace and Bruce Pritchard protecting Vince instead of security....Interesting decision in the IC Title match....Man, I thought they'd give Kane/Trips about 15 minutes. But instead, it's fodder for a WM tag match no one is clamoring for....Was that a real dog Torrie had? I don't think I even saw it move....
How dare Steph salt Shawn's water!....The Playboy cover was not shockingly not shocking. But does this feud mean we'll see Candice Michelle in the ring against Torrie Wilson eventually?....As ridiculous as it was, I thought HBK sold the "drugging" pretty well....Good to see the OVW guys learned the mandatory chinlock. No heat for that match, very little even during Eugene's comeback....As bad as Lita is, that DDT looked nice....Big Show/Cena was okay, but the show-ending stuff was disappointing.
You could tell Steph was in evil mode tonight just by her hair. But I gotta say, drugging the water was not something I was expecting. The thing that worries me is that they're totally painting themselves into a corner as far as the possibility of involving Bret in the feud goes: Vince has gotten the upper-hand so many times now that Shawn has to absolutely crush him in the Wrestlemania match. I mean, it's gotta be the job to end all jobs.
Were those chants for Cena I heard right before Edge gave Mick the one-man conchairto? I'd like to think it was the crowd trying to send Vince a not-so-subtle message about the WWE title feud they should have gone with for Wrestlemania, instead of putting Trips in there yet again, but somehow, I don't think so...
Is it just me, or was there utterly no point to Candice and Victoria turning on Torrie whatsoever?
smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; July 5, 2005) It's good to see that the WWE isn't backing away from Batista or Cena. There's still some questions lingering over a few of the draft moves they either made or didn't make (Jericho being a prime example), but the stage is set for a solid run to Summerslam that may send the indicator down. The longer Triple H stays away is also a plus...

(Raising hand meekly) Considering I'm usually watching the whole show plus unlimited I might take it up. I've been wanting to challenge myself with doing a Raw recap of sorts. Besides I sort of like to invoke conversation in some things and wrestling is one of them.

Take the break, Steph - you've earned it.
Honestly, I sat down with the intention of watching this week's show, but I just couldn't stand the Vince opening segment. (Looks like I didn't miss much.) Maybe I need some time away from the WW's programing, cuz I am really down on it now.
Jwrestle - if you're gonna do a show report/recap, start small. There's no need to knock yourself out with an in-depth disection. (Heck, that'd be more effort than the WRITERS put into these shows.)
Some people have really witty signatures. I am not one of those people.
Completely unrelated to Raw but given the show we got last night, who cares?: Those of you who watched Deal or No Deal before, please either confirm that that was Nunzio on the first guy's "team" or tell me I'm insane.

Confirmed- WWE.com had a video of him being on there this past weekend to support his brother. I even meant to watch it tonight, but forgot all about it.
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet...Thank god for Tivo, because other than Flair/Shelton, there was nothing even remotely good, or hell, watchable. Even the newest HOF inductee was a let down. Stone Cold inducting Bret will be interesting, but other than that. Eh.
I'm half-watching the Raw repeat right now, and Nunzio on Deal or No Deal was 20 times more entertaining than anything I've seen so far. Nunzio was PUMPED UP and excited for his bro. Granted, they only put excitable people and their families on that show...
I liked Big Show vs. Cena alot. Watching it made me really think of how badly they've fucked up with Cena on RAW. As Big Show really plays to all Cena's strengths in a way that all of the other RAW Cena opponents haven't.
* The return of Steffo w/ Fetus H: At least she doesn't have that screeching voice anymore.
* I wanted Lita to to beat the crap out of Maria the Bubblehead, given the reaction Lita received (heel heat) and Maria got (almost no reaction). And does Foley seem a little bigger when I last saw him? Also, Edge accepting the challenge brings back memories of when Angle accepted Michaels' challenge.
* I can see Torrie / Candice at Wrestlemania 22, after this turn of events.

I just thought they were chanting for Cena because there really was no other face who has any type of association with Foley available to make the save. So, the spawn works heel already. After watching the ECW DVD recently, it really is pathetic to see how lumbering Foley is. He used to be big yet explosive. Now, he's just big. Was I the only one hoping it was Abdullah the Butcher inside the box? Putting SNME in prime time really takes away what made it unique. Now, it's just the day after SD in the same time slot. I was hoping when Wight was climbing the ropes that perhaps the mythical moonsault he used in training for WCW was finally going to be displayed. Now, I really had no desire to see an Austin vs. Hogan build-up to Mania. However, that would have at least had some spark compared to the McMahonathon we received in its place. And, the bright side of Sherri Martel getting inducted: For a few brief moments, the world was able yet again to view "Pretty Boy" Doug Somers and "Playboy" Buddy Rose.

Am I wrong about this... or is Sherri getting inducted into the Hall of Fame before BOTH Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth? If so, that's some strange decision-making...
Crackpot Conspiracy Theory Alert: I'm getting to the point where I sort of suspect the WWE's strategy is to have as many people hating John Cena as possible -- just so HHH can remind all the people who booed him during his LAST title reign just how gosh-darn wonderful he really is...
...while giving Cena juuuuust enough love to sell merchandise, annoy the workrate geeks, and be a passable champion.

Thank you. I was skimming the report and when I read that line, I had to stop long enough to wipe a tear from my eye.

Yes, she is.
It's no secret that McMahon hates Savage with a passion for whatever reason, and he's the one guy Vince would most likely never bring in for anything...and in the WWE, that's really saying something.

Not so bad for us in Maison Tracker. We enjoy the Spirit Squad, we like Maria's ring attire, and we dig Shelton and his Mama.
The Lovely Mrs. Tracker is bothered however by the posing design on the front of Masters's tights. Now, if we get a close look, we see the logo. But as we commonly see it from a distance on RAW, it looks like a high-school illustration of a uterus and ovaries. And by coincidence, they are in exactly the right place at exactly the right size. She can no longer take the man seriously. He's become a cross-gender reproductive Slim Goodbody.
