As far as the MITB2 speculation, I think they need to keep it with the smaller guys so to speak. Kane was completely forgettable in last year's MITB match, besides from his entrance, with the ladders on stage getting set on fire.
Wasn't the KMA Club one of the contributors in the bottoming out of the ratings? And, Jannetty is starting to look like Paul Orndorff facially. I'd guess Dusty for next to enter Hall of Fame. Wouldn't whatever remains of the Foley rub have been better for Edge prior to his winning a World Championship rather than after losing one? If they folllow through that RAW is main eventing Mania, it means, barring a triple threat match, this will be the first time a face isn't chasing the belt in the main event at Mania since Yokozuna at Mania IX (Michaels vs. Diesel was on the undercard of Bam Bam vs. LT and Angle vs. Guerrero was on the undercard of Michaels/Trip/Benoit). And IX ended with a face Hogan coming down and winning the belt afterwards. The other heels chasing into the Main Event are Bundy vs. Hogan and Andre vs. Hogan. The link in all of this is Hogan who was a strong enough face to pull it off. Cena is no where near a strong enough face to pull this off.

If they book Cena as he was last night (silent and serious), they might be able to do it. Not to Hogan levels, no, but that's asking too much of virtually any new guy. Still, you know Cena's gonna kiss the sledgehammer in the next month to give him the wounded-champ comeback in their WM match.

Does anyone get the impression that, if the WWE devoted its muscle to hyping & promoting the hell out of RVD, he'd eclipse Cena (and just about any other face in the WWE) within a month? He basically dominated that Raw online poll a week-or-so ago, and the fans seem like they're chomping on the bit to rally behind him...

I thought someone got injured, but I couldnt tell who. I remember the last couple of eliminations in the Diva Rumble were a little sloppy. Then when Edge & Lita showed up, you could see that a 2nd ref was hanging around where the last girls had fallen out of the ring. Then I saw a couple of paramedics (who looked more like security guards) come down too.
Meanwhile, Edge & Lita are in the ring yapping away during all this & neither of them acknowledge whats going on right next to them, and all of the camera men are working really hard not to show us what is going on on the floor.
Anywho, I was in a chatroom when all of this went down & nobody in the room with me (who were also watching RAW) noticed any of it.
Some thoughts. I saw the footage of teh Taker/Angle match. When I heard he had a triangle on Angle I wondered if Taker's shoulders were on the mat or if had gotten a triangle from mount (which would confuse the hell out of most ppl and be hard for a man that size). So why didn't the ref start to count the pin when he sunk the triangle in?
Did anybody actually think HHH was going to lose? He's obviously been dieting and been hitting the tanning booth twice a day.
Those spirit squad guys are getting on my nerves even more after that phantom dropkick.
Oh and the music from the Eddie sequence shared the quoted the first six notes from the braveheart theme. Anybody else notice that?

I have to disagree. I have tried to do that move several times in the bathroom mirror, and I end up falling over or looking like a yak giving birth.
Will someone PLEASE invent a device to erase this image of The Goon doing the GoDaddy dance from my mind. It hurts real bad. ...I don't even know what he really looks like, and I'm scarred for life.
RAW was at least better then the PPV Sunday.
For all the hating he gets around here, you gotta admit that Carlos was pretty dame awesome last night with that promo. It felt very old school for me.
RAWs half of Wrestlemania is shaping up pretty well, unlike that other half. Helmsley/Cena is what it is... a face turn for Helmsley winning the belt, MITB2 with the guy preposing it probably not winning again this year, Edge/Foley should be watchable, HBK/McMahon craziness with the 'Bret Hart will be in attendence' forshadowing... I'd almost actually pay for it at home if I'm free.
Why can't Smackdown get thier shit straight? Don't both shows use the same writers?

Well, now I HAVE to make a video for your benefit. I wish I knew how to quit you, Cerebus.
While Austin has been out of the ring for longer than the Rock had, the fans have also seen a lot more of Austin over the years, as he's still been appearing at least a few times a year on WWE programming.
