I don't see them giving Nash the belt. HHH has had it for almost six months now. So they need to please the fans and give it to a face that is over. And Nash certainly hasn't fit that. He's getting booed. My guess is...sigh Goldberg, maybe Summerslam.

And btw, I got a question, didn't HBK lay down for HHH or HHH lay down for HBK in the early DX days because they had to fight each other? Something like that, right? So what the hell was Shawn talking about?

I thought this was actually a pretty enjoyable piece of television.

My first thought when RVD came out was "Dude, your match is NEXT segment. Stop lighting up during the show." Of course, I had thought it was just a joke, but oh well. It wasn't bad. My only question was this: RVD interrupts, so Stone Cold makes a tag match. Why are RVD and Kane supposed to defend the titles if they were the ones seeking revenge? Logic, we hardly knew ye.

Also, something I noticed tonight. They need to do something with the lighting during Trips' entrance ... 'cause he is showing some SERIOUS man-boobs, yo. It's kind of scary - especially since I was eating dessert at the time.

Of course, I very nearly got sick while eating during the whole Moolah and Mae thing ... I kind of saw it coming, but I had to leave the room anyway. Funny, but not when eating.

Something else interesting to ponder: Lawler's from Memphis. Why in the hell is he asking Teddy to explain what he's saying? He should know what it all means! I'm waiting for him to start an "I'm from Memphis, I can be black, too" thing going. (Of course, being from Memphis, I'm probably the only one here who would find that amusing, but oh well. It's all about me. )

Shawn laid down to Hunter for the Euro strap. You are correct, sir.

I taped Raw and saw Ric crying as I flipped the channels. I wondered if it was legit or if he'd just bit his tounge again. It was a great, one night angle. I hope FLair turns for real somewhere down the road and finally costs Haitch the title.

I was thinking Christian's new look was more like a slightly longer haired Jeff Jarrett, expecially with the colored glasses.

Anyway, I saw pretty much the last half or so of the show, so I didn't see the setup, but Naitch was ON last night. I never expected him to win, but he got in a ton of offense on HHH.

If Jericho/Goldberg is on for Bad Blood, then I'd expect that Goldberg is eating a conchairto on Monday. Lance should be involved too.

Austin was very good as well (again, from what I did see).

Austin's opening promo was classic, espically the replay of Bischoff's hurl. Best part of his promo was him interrupting HHH's entrance.

However, they still didn't give an explanation that makes sense as to why Stone Cold presents Bad Blood is Raw-only. They also didn't mention Steph and HHH's meeting at Judgement Day. Not to mention the kiss between Steph and Bischoff.

I like Christian's new look. I hope this leads to bigger and better things from Christian. Also, the "Highlight Reel" ruled again.

Austin's interragtion of Storm was hilarious. Reminded me of the classic Heel Austin-Angle feud of 2001.

I have to admit HHH-Flair was very good minus the ending.

Overall, another so-so Raw.

They need to turn Christian into a total pussy ala Honky Tonk because the Leo DiCaprio physique just isn't convincing in the ring. Apparently, singlets add 20 lbs.

Venom, obviously you do not work out.....he far from has a DiCaprio physique, he just doesnt juice like test, BPP and all the other guys, trust me its very hard to get where he is (i know from experience of my own)...however, i do like your idea about making him like the honky tonk man, now all he needs is a ricky steamboat or jyd who is constantly chasing him for the title

Decent show (1st time I've had a chance to say that about Raw in a long time). Jericho & Christian were awesome, Austin was pretty entertaining, and Flair's promo was gold. However, they only had 1 entertaining match (IMO) on the entire show (Flair/HHH). And, boy, did the crowd just *DIE* when HHH pinned Flair.

The Good:

* "The hardest working redneck in sports entertainment."

* Most of the rest of Austin's antics. It's hard to say how long they can keep slow-burn Austin going AND keep it funny, but the ride will be enjoyable for a while.

* Jericho and Christian making up.

* SPIKE DUDLEY~! and his Happy Feet move in the corner.

* Mae and Moolah's cameo, telegraphed as it was.

* Another victim of MR. BULLHORN!

* Beginning and ending the "Who ran over Goldberg" hunt in ONE NIGHT instead of dragging it out for weeks.

* Goldberg/Storm was also (mercifully) brief.

* RIC FLAIR HIT A TOP-ROPE MOVE!

* I repeat, RIC FLAIR HIT A TOP-ROPE MOVE!

* Holy flirking shnit, RIC FLAIR HIT A TOP-ROPE MOVE!

* HHH sold the figure-four like someone had attached jumper cables to his ass and turned on the juice.

The Bad:

* Who was that a face turn for, Rico or 3MW, and why should we care about either?

* Christian's new look. Someone beat me to "Mini-Test."

* RVD's promo. The subsequent match. Drive through come again.

* The wrong guy won the White Boy Challenge this week.

* Test. Steiner. On my TV. Next Segment Please.

* Hell in the Cell? Nash-HHH? Hey, watch me do my hung-over Bischoff impression!

A few thoughts:

With this new love affair by the writers with vomiting, it makes one wonder whether Droz is now part of the writing team. On the bright side, at least its not Austin pissing on Arn Anderson as he did last year.

Speaking of Arn, considering they were in South Carolina, shouldn't he have been the one who gave the 'Don't Lay Down' Speech to Flair? The crowd would have loved it, and it would have been more logical. On the downside, it would have meant a whole segment without a clique member, and God forbid that occur in this lifetime.

Satisfaction Guaranteed? Well, at least they were smart enough not to tell Austin to say 'Or Your Money Back', or else they would have been looking at a huge giveback after the Nash/Trip Hell to Watch in a Cell Match.

Why is 3MW still on TV?

Punishment for Being Cheered in Canada: Getting squashed by Warm Beer.

Gotta hand it to Flair. Somehow, he manages to reach back into the past and, even if only for a moment, recapture the magic.

Flair turns this from an average show to an above average to good show. Of course, by next week, they will attempt to plummet back into the abyss.

I'm really impressed by Christian. I think he really stepped it up in terms of mic- and ring-work last night. More than anything, he reminds me of Owen Hart right now, and I don't think I need to mention that that's a good thing. However, I still don't understand why Christian insists on dressing like a woman.

Say what you (and I) will about glass ceilings and big men and crusierweights getting the shaft, but Christian is enjoying a significant push. Of COURSE he's not gonna get the world belt, but this is a decent chunk of attention for a guy many thought would be history once Edge went solo.

Good for him. Glad to see it. If he drops the tantrums, he might just evolve into a solid credible midcard performer.

Woulda thunk? Matt Hardy and Christian: healthy and employed with singles belts.

what would the point of Spike winning be? It's not like he's getting a push, and he'll get the underdog face cheers every time out, so I fail to see the point in Spike winning the match.

An errant thought:

Steve Austin (roughly 9:05 PM, addressing camera): "Satisfaction is guaranteed... Trust in me, and I will never let you down."

Steve Austin (roughly 11:10 PM, addressing HHH): "YOU... KEVIN NASH... BAD BLOOD... HELL IN THE CELL."

He may not be wrestling any more, but at least they're keeping Austin consistent with his old "DTA - Don't Trust Anybody" motto!

I'm sorry...he looks like Leo DiCaprio without his shirt on. I'm not saying he needs to inject the magic juice into his ass, he just doesn't LOOK like a threat in the ring. He could definetly stand to put on about 20 or 30 more pounds with his frame, otherwise he looks too gangly.

-Austin/HHH interview- I'm also digging the Austin opening promo. He's saying the next PPV will be great (not with this main event), and saying the PPV will deliver Satisfaction Guarantee. HEY I thought he got pissed at RVD & Christian for biting his style now he's stealing Trish's Stratusfaction Guarantee, for shame Austin... Out comes HHH and it was great that Austin stopped the water spit before it got started, LoL. Flair vs. HHH could be interesting.

-3Minute Warning vs. Dudley Boyz- 6 minutes for 3 Minute Warning, and it sure felt it. Crowds usually more lively for the Dudleyz, 3 minute warning just looks odd in the beginning but turned okay with some nice big man moves... Rico really did give one of the worst break up speech in recent memory.

-Highlight Reel- J.R has no idea who on the Highlight Reel, man he must really have given up on the internet because it was posted all afternoon on WWE.com that Christian will be the guest. This set just gets more and more elaborate by the week! Jeritron 5000 is swank. Hey Christian got born again! Yes he does look a little like Mini Test or Smoking (Billy) Gunn, but for me the first person that popped into my mind was Jeff Jarrett slapnuts era for some reason. Didn't they ask them to get hair cuts because everyone looks the same so Christian got a haircut so he can look like Test!?. Oh well... RVD comes in and so does Kane and Austin sets up a match (why was he staring at his toes?)

-Kane/RVD vs. Jericho/Christian- Good match but in the beginning RVD seemed a little lost throwing punches and kicks and Jericho no selling. I laughed when it looked like Kane was going out of the ring to climb the turnbuckle and hit the flying clothesline but the second he went through the ropes RVD tagged him and got in and Kane's body language was like "what the hell is he doing, why did he tag in". I have no idea if Kane was truly surprised or not but I thought it was really funny... I always enjoy RVD, Kane looked really good tonight and of course Team Vitamin C bumped great and looked good as well. Them having full control and getting themselves DQ'ed was kind of stupid but oh well.

-Mack vs. Spike- Well it's nice to a name after Mack vs.___. There was some real sloppy parts in this match like a roll up that really wasn't and a bad bulldog. I thought Mack hurt himself for real but if he's selling points for him in fooling me. The last 30 seconds the crowd was really hot for Spike but he couldn't hold on for 2 more seconds. I know I know psychology or something like that LoL... This reminded me how much I liked the WCW TV title, especially when Regal had it way back. I always got real into his matches with him and Pillman or Johnny B Badd where Regal's challengers had to beat him in the TV time limit (usually 10 minutes sometimes 15 for PPV's), so it added another dimension to the match of beating the champion and the clock.

-La Resistance vs. Test/Steiner- It was too short to be bad, it was only 2 minutes... I guess the big story is between Test, Steiner and Stacy. Why did flashes of Piper pulling that kids leg out cross my mind when Steiner and Test her pulling Stacy's arms, disturbing LoL

-Goldberg vs. Storm- SqashBerg squashes Storm (say that 3 times fast). Did Storm last longer in this match or the PPV's Battle Royal? My bet is that he lasted longer in this match just because of Goldbergs snarling. I actually gave props to the WWE for him not squashing Christian in the cage last week (which went against most Big Time Net Writers). But this week he was back to his squashing ways. Boring

-HHH vs. Flair- I truly believe right now a 50 year old Flair would make a better champion then HHH. As much I tried but I never bought into Flair winning tonight. Flair got tons of offense in but I just knew the HHH would pedigree finish him and it's so sad that I'm so cynical of him that I couldn't enjoy this match to the fullest. Also JR ruined it with really overselling Flair, I looked at my watch and was sad that it was already 11PM so no real classic in the making. Flair hit his top rope spot which was nice and also hit perfectly the backflip turnbuckle spot which he had bad hitting percentage recently. HHH pedigree win of course... Oh the joy Nash comes waddles out and sets up Nash/HHH 2 in a cell, couldn't they just wrestle in a phone booth with their mobility they don't really need more space. JR's so excited for a rematch, Did he watch the PPV match last night, his memory must be awful

-OtherStuff- Is it real a good idea to tell your fans in the middle of the show to go to their computer and vote. My computer isn't near my TV and takes about 5 minutes to open and get connected. And once connected I get easily distracted by stuff LoL... Lot's of Austin backstage, which I don't mind I enjoy him much more times then not. I just laughed out loud hard seeing him go into a makeshift interrogation room close the drapes and peak out with a pissed off face, I just laughed hard.

Who Dun It, Storm? That was..um..surprising. Remind me not to tell Storm any secrets, the guy breaks down quicker then he jobs in the ring... I also laughed at Austin with a megaphone and making tons of noise for the hell of it just to get on Bischoffs nerves... Great job in building the main event all the way through, even though unfortunately i wasn't buying it

-Line of the night: JR "HHH, Nash, Hell in a Cell, Bad Blood, My Ass!" JR pretty much stated my feelings on this.

This show was okay, Austin is really enjoyable in his role, they did a good match build and a good match for the main. The Highlight Reel turning into a match was well done. The Mack & Spike match had it's moments as well. Decent Raw, which is a good mark considering I didn't get my dose of Stratusfaction or any Raw Divas tonight which are usually a highlight for me but good decent Raw nonetheless

Last night's RAW was the best in months. Austin was gold, Storm was a surprise, Christian's new look is awesome, Teddy Long was hilarious, the Flair/Michaels segment was incredible, and the Flair/Triple H angle was the best in a LONG time. Flair was on last night, in the ring and in his backstage segments. I actually thought he'd win. Then I remembered "This is WWE." It's gotten almost laughable now-Triple H can say that his buddy Nash beat the hell out of him at the PPV, yet he never gave any of his prior opponents an ounce of respect or gave the fans a feeling that they could win.

Actually the Black is neither the, kata-hajime, Tazzmission or Cobra Clutch. It's a COBRA HOLD

What's the difference between all three moves, WELL HERE IT IS...

The kata-hajime, like said earlier, is a standing half-nelson choke hold.

The tazzmission is a kata-hajime, but he falls to the mat and locks his legs around the victim's body.

A Cobra Clutch is where a guy is standing behind the victim, he then grabs the victim's wrist with his opposite hand(right grabs left or left grabs right)and pulls it across the victims's neck. He then puts his other arm through the gap made between the neck and arm, and lock his hand behind the victim's neck. He then squeezes the life out of the victim, cutting off blood flow to the brain.

BUT...

The Black Out is COBRA HOLD. The cobra hold is set-up like a cobra clutch, but he then falls to the mat and wraps his legs around the victim like the Tazzmission.

So the Black Out is a COBRA HOLD!!
