HHH being arrested makes perfect sense as was said before.
Big Show joining nWO makes perfect sense, though predictable. Then again..everybody has been going on about how all former nWo members should/could join at some point so this is shooting ducks in an barrel.
If HHH were to join them in november, we'd still go like 'see, i told you!'

I like the idea of Flair trying to do good, but screwing up every time, maybe even with the nWo playing mindgames, like Eke just suggested.
Eventually this could lead to both Flair and Austin going bonkers, and things heat up from there..Horsemen, paranoid kickass austin, its all possible..
I like slowly brewing story lines.

And btw..Imo911, the idea IS that Austin is an asshole right now because Flair keeps screwing him over, even if by accident. Wouldn't you get pissed? 'No, I wanna help you..ooops..sorry!'

Remember the ref bump in the Backlash match? That could be another part of Austin's paranoia...he could point out the obvious question of how a former 16-time champ could be incapacitated so badly from a simple shoulder block.

yeah, it was so obvious Show was gonna turn...

this has to be like his 35th turn...anybody keep count??

Stasiak is being punished. That is damn true. The WWF brought him back to humiliate him. No doubt in my mind about that.

Bubba and D-Von need to get back together.

Never seen Taker get his ass handed to himself like that...

Hogan does the same promo everytime.

What is the point of even having tag teams on Raw? No titles here for them.

The Perfect Jobber. Has he won yet? Crash Holly doesn't count.

Anyone catch Heat? Show punked former ECW badasses Credible and Richards...really good way to squash these guys, and make the point: Big Slow is really big>>>

I think "Danimal" from Tough Enough 2 needs to sue Stasiak for gimmick infringement.

I think the Flair/Austin incrimination angle is great because it's not a rehash of McMahon/Austin. They're doing the whole "Austin feuds with the owner" schtick, but it's presented differently and is quite interesting. I can't figure out if Flair will legitamately turn, or will just get fed up with Austin's accusations and take it to the ring.

I'll be the first to call for FLAIR/AUSTIN HELL IN THE CELL, baby!

Triple H was actually compelling tonight. I was pissed at Backlash that he didn't WIPE OUT Hulk Hogan after the match, but now I understand his anger's true object was Taker. He beat the holy hell out of the dead man. It was awesome to see Taker begging for mercy backstage...it really puts Triple H into a legitamate threat role.

Big Show is awesome in the nWo. I'm all for the turn, and expect it to do big things for him. He needs a good feud now. If they stick him in there with dumbass Bradshaw, I'm going to be pissed. He should fight someone substantial like...hmmm...I don't know who he should fight.

I loved the Booker skit. I think he would be good in the nWo as well, but I would rather see him face. The hardyz would rule as nWo members, too.

I want to see Show wrestle Bradshaw ONE time, just so I can see Bradshaw try to lariat him and stand there looking stupid while his arm flies off into the crowd.

I think that may be the *one* thing that I am not digging about post-split Raw. Bradshaw (the character AND the wrestler) just doesn't do it for me, never has and I doubt he ever will, at this point. Fortunately, with him in the main these past few weeks, and Austin in his slump, I can pretty much ignore the last bit of the show until I hear JR squealing to alert me that the run-in/story portion of the match is coming up.

It's insane to apply logic to arrest angles, but I can't help myself. So...

Why wouldn't HHH be allowed in the arena? Unless someone has a restraining order against him, legally he can be wherever the hell he wants to be. MAYBE HE BOUGHT A TICKET LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. So there goes the "trespassing" angle right out the window.

Besides, they played his f'in MUSIC when HHH came out. Not exactly a surprise visit, now, is it?

Which makes one think, what exactly WAS he arrested for? Assault? Cripes, arresting a wrestler for assault is like arresting a stripper for being naked. SHE'S A STRIPPER; BEING NAKED IS WHAT SHE DOES.

Arrest angles have "L-A-Z-Y" written all over them. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Just have bouncers throw him out of the arena; spare me the fake-cops-handcuff-star routine.

Other than that, good show.

Raw was ok, the "Planet Stasiak" gimmick is growing on me.

The Booker/Goldust segment was GOLD, brother! I can see them doing Spider-Man

Booker(Dressed as Spider-Man without Mask): I gots a Web-Shooter, and cool spider powers, and I'm gonna kick yo ass, Goblin! Now can you dig that, SUUUCKAAAAAAA!!!!!

Goldust would then do a scene as "The Gold Goblin".

The "New" Dudley Boyz I like, just wish there was a reason for Tag Teamns to be on Raw, now that the Tag Titles are exclusive to Smackdown.

Big Show turn... Predictable, but like everyone says, it gives him something to do.

If Flair joins the nWo, or turns heel in general, it would make as much sence as "Fat Chick Thriller" Mike Awsome.

Brock Lesnar is how you push a monster, too bad WCW didn't know.

I gave a Faarooq-esqe "Damn" when Stasiak lost in .2 seconds. Nobody can stop "The Power of The Punch"!

Decent post-PPV show. But I thought it was missing something... don't know what, though.

I went to two WWF live events this week and, in both cases, my seat was in the crowd area, not backstage where Triple-H came from, and I'd be mighty surprised if the WWF crew had my entrance music on-hand and readily available in case I DID make a run-in (assuming I had such a thing as entrance music), especially since I'm technically not supposed to be part of that division of the company.

Also, the last time I looked, a ticket didn't give you backstage access to beat the crap out of the wrestlers.

I feel as insane as shea does for responding to the logic of the arrest angle, but here goes. Buying a ticket doesn't mean you have a RIGHT to be there. It just means you have permission, and that permission can be removed at any time for any reason. And Triple H is big enough to handle any bouncers, so cops are required to remove him.

Eh, I give up...trying to justify arrest angles makes my head hurt. And I didn't even watch RAW last night!

Point taken, WTF13 and Mr. Heel. But the guy made an entrance down the ramp WITH MUSIC -- which is, like, a "sanctioned" entrance in the world of sports entertainment, isn't it? This is why these scripted arrests are so funky: At what point did HHH's appearance stop being OK and become "trespassing"?

Fer cripes sake, if the guy is trespassing, have him jump out of the crowd. Some logic, please!

As ridiculous as these angles are, how many times in the last 2 months have we seen wrestlers arrested? Like I said, L-A-Z-Y.

Aparently we can expect Billy and Chuck to be on both shows pretty soon. Someone (Meltz, I believe) stated that the Euro title will head over to SmackDown, in exchange for the tag titles being on both shows.

Guys, it's not a big deal. The freakin' cameraman sees HHH coming down the backstage hall...he turns on his camera and yells into his walkie-talkie to the gorilla position "Guys! HHH is heading your way and he's PISSED!" So the guy in the gorilla position does what he's supposed to do...he plays the music of the superstar who's coming through the curtain. They had like 30 seconds of advanced warning while Taker was yelling about it.

I admit, it was gay as hell, and I hate the music with the run-in aspect just as much as the music with the Royal Rumble entry thing. But it IS explainable, from a kayfabe standpoint.
Hell, I would have played his music.

That's a really good point. I was wondering why HHH shook Hogan's hand after Backlash, if he was that damn angy. I hadn't realized that the question was answered on Raw until you pointed it out: HHH was never mad at Hogan he was mad at Taker.

I had a feeling HHH was going to be on Raw even though he lost the title and is now a SmackDown wrestler. I just didn't expect that he was going to make the Undertaker cry and beg for mercy. After all this time, saving up UT getting beaten down by someone so that, when it happened, it would be a big deal and really elevate whomever was responsible...and it's just more of HHH beating up someone else. Again. Oh boy. I guess Jericho is next on SmackDown, since he's already destroyed Angle a few times over the last few weeks.

Booker and Goldust were great. I don't really get why they're teaming up (or why anyone is wrestling tag matches on Raw), but it was fun and anything that gets them to use Booker is a plus.

This was a good Raw for the most part. Anyone else think Hogan's reactions are starting to diminish? We may see him lose it on Smackdown, I hope. I forgot HHH was not on Raw anymore until he was arrested, so I guess the arrest was a good idea for morons like me.

Flair is going to do a Bischoff and turn Raw into the NWO show, I can feel it from here. In the mean time, it might be a good idea to start building up some more faces rather than Austin and Bradshaw. Are there any other faces that can stand to these guys, the Hardies are glorified jobbers right, RVD is fighting Eddie and Bubba/Spike are busy with their own things. So, who should get the face push, now?
