- Skinhead Molly = HOT HOT HOT
Much like our friend Mr. Lawler, exaggerated harping about puppies and hotness when there's a good wrestling match on = overcompensation = closet case.

- Since when is Raw the #1 rated show?
I presume that Raw was #1 in cable ratings last week, which would be the first time they've managed that in a little while, which would be why they felt it worth mentioning. #1 in cable ratings does not mean #1 between Raw and SD!, though, which it has not been for quite some time, whatever HHH and Booker may say, which I hope someone (Angle would be good) points out for HHH.

I think it was reasonably clear that they meant the final encounter for HHH v HBK v Benoit.
Originally posted by Nuclear Winter - Didn't they just say Flair wasn't the legal man? Why is the ref counting Flair's pin attempt!?
The *announcers* said that Flair wasn't legal. The ref can't *hear* the announcers. Besides which, "Johnny Nitro" was supposed to be a moron.
Originally posted by Nuclear Winter - So Kane is outside of the ring for 4 seconds after being sprayed with an illegal substance, and he gets counted out?
Kane was outside the ring for 6 counts before being sprayed, Tajiri returned to the ring and Kane didn't, so the count continued to 10, and the illegal substance was not illegal, because it was no-DQ. So, yep, yep, and yep.
Oh, yeah, and Shelton/HHH ruled! Rather than going on about it, I'll just say that I agree with just about everything everyone said about it. Except XManiac24, of course. I was going to give him a hard time about it, but then I remembered the last time I was unimpressed by a match that everyone else loved -- HBK/Y2J at last year's WM. I liked HHH/Booker and Vince/Hogan better myself. Everyone has the right to their opinion I guess. Still, I'm sad you didn't get to markout like I did.

If I'm wrong, my bad.
Your bad, dawg.
Actually, while it was no DQ, there was nothing to warrant it being so...there wasn't a moment where a DQ situation was in play and Kane lost by a FRIGGIN' count out anyway. I thought count-outs were a form of disqualification.

Plus, the ref was a heel, so of course he'd count the pin for the heel team. Notice the fast count.
Exactly. That's also why HBK hit Johnny Nitro - he realized there was no way Nitro was gonna let HBK/Benoit win, so he just hauled of and hit him. (Which is also why Benoit forgave HBK for causing the DQ.)
Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Well, it COULD be right!
Originally posted by ScottLadd Oh my, NHS has some issues with the Trish Stratuss stuff again! I not be personal but you seem bitter by it all, did Y2J do something to you. HiLitee reel sounds good to me. Y2J deserves to stick it to that bitchy woman. He was dumped and she is being a real bad lady hypocrite, so he has every right to get face pops for himself by it all. He needs something to get face cheer after that faltering story he was in.
And lovey man Y2J with Trish as a soppy guy would have been crappy and just the worst. Time machine WWE? Grow up yourself and enjoy the show for a change. Me guess you want Trish to be happy little babygirl? Most poster people here loved that bit and liked new old Y2J. Give it a chance. Trish Stratuss never changed for like 3 years as a WWE person so why can't Y2J resort back for one night to something he was successsful with. He can't copy HHH or anyone else so what way would you like to se him act, like Edge is? Two faces the same not work for me.
I did enjoy the Show. Skim through anything else I wrote not involving Y2J. 85% of the show I liked. Complimented HHH vs Benjamin, Great World Tag match, enjoyable women match. New characters like Tajiri & J. Nitro that I find very entertaining, hell I even complimented sick-kid Randy Orton... The 1 thing I didn't like was the Y2J thing. As much as you say you hate the Pre-WM is as much as I can't stand the post-WM stuff especially this week concerning Y2J. I just get a feeling of Deja Vu with this on Trish & Y2J. I was expecting more from these 2 & for me they aren't delivering anything new interesting. I can't go around & roll my eyes at the NWO guys who are pushing 40 and looking like highschool suburban gangsta wannabes and call what their doing silly or be ready to throw arrows at HHH the night it looked like he was returning as DX-H and not take to task Y2J just because he's a net favorite.
Y2J in the past 2 weeks, looked like a change man. He looked focused, intense, blood thirsty. He goes out & destroys Matt Hardy in gets himself DQed. He goes out with no nonsense and squashed Dupree with no time for silliness. But this week he comes out there & acts like a court jester living off 1 liners & having a sing-a-long... Should he have confronted Trish, sure! How about actually doing some originality & cut a promo that's not cut and paste from his feud with Stephanie. You have material there, talk about How she sold out her fans & cheapened her career. Talk about no matter how many Diva beauty awards she gets & how many people say she's visually beautiful. That inside she's rotten". Would have had the same effect & he wouldn't look like a mid-card clown. What is he going to be next week? Intense or fun loving. Does it come on & off like a light switch. Whatever he does he's lost me already.
I know Jericho is very popular around these parts, if Benoit is god then Jericho must be a patron saint. And I like him and he's talented, but his 80s glam rocker stuff was wearing a little thin with me. I think that's one reason I was liking Jericho/Trish. He was doing something different, it was a part of the Y2J character we haven't seen before and I found it interesting. He could have tweaked it a bit and make it better(with or without Trish) but I liked the direction they were going. But this Monday it's okay we're back to the babyface of 2000, color me disappointed.

sorry to post so late but we here in the uk don't get raw until the Friday after its shown (for all you Americans interested we get SD the next night - no waiting YAY) Ive just seen the Shelton-HHH match and i must say it was a thing of beauty. Shelton and the Game were on top form tonight, and the ring psychology was excellent. Shelton reminds me of a young Bret Hart, with his work rate, ring psychology and his selling technique. This lad could have a bright future.
PS By the way JR first mentioned Tajiri vs Kane was a N0-DQ match exactly 2.84746 seconds before tajiri sprayed the green mist - nothing like a late call huh! Oh and Edge in that vest looks like a young Bruce Willis in Die Hard - i wonder if Alan Rickman will play the heel and try to blow up his wife's office block - now that id mark out for.

I think this might be the time for Matt Hardy to go face. Hell you can also join Lita with him again.Christian/Trish can maybe get one more person to join them, maybe Rhyno they an be a heel time against Y2J and Matt Hardy. Hardy can say he and Lita might have had their problems but Chrisitan took it over the line with the bet. Hardy can complain that back when he, Matt, feuded with Lita and Christian kept getting involved it was all just a work Chistian was doing for the bet. Which could set up some good tag matches between Y2J/Matt Hardy/Lita vs Christian/Rhyno/Trish.

Wow...some classy responses to this already. Part of me hopes they reconcile because for some reason, there's something very warm and fuzzy and familiar about them being together. Hogan being married is a part of my childhood memories of Hulkamania.
