I enjoyed the lottery and the moves don't really bother me too much. I think it might actually be good for some of them, like Spike and Nidia. Triple H, Kurt, AND Cena on the same show? Thursday nights are gonna be late ones...;-)

As for the trade deadline, I assumed that those chosen in the lottery were going to the other show, period, and that the trades would be amongst those who are left. It would defeat the purpose of the lottery to do trade backs...well, sometimes Vince doesn't make sense...never mind...

For the first time in FOREVER I sat through an entire episode of Raw last night. The reason? Paul Heyman. He was awesome and carried the show, IMO. I loved the "I hope you go blind again" comment, as well as the way he just held out the "HHH" pick for Bischoff to take in before he announced it to the crowd. All the little interplay between Bischoff and Heyman was great. Other thoughts:

I bet the Smackdown fans are sure pumped for Rene Dupree. "Hey he just lost to Jericho and got stunnered by Austin! He's AWESOME!" I'd never seen Dupree before and he definitely looks to be literally oozing (TM Gorilla Monsoon) with potential, though.

I thought (and I appear to be in the minority, I guess) the HHH's spittake was just stupid, but it was offset by the TERRIFIC "nah nah NAH nah, nah nah NAH nah, HEY HEY HEY, good-BYE" HHH received from the Raw locker room. B-E-A-YOOtiful. Their reaction to Heyman joining the was quite good as well.

Thanks to Bill Simmons, from now on in my house Batista will be known as "Batista, on loan from Vivid Video."

John Cena, that was quite a pop you received, young man. [/Peter King, MMQB]

Was the crowd kind of tepid for the wrestling tonight? Not that I blame them, but the seemed to be just waiting for the Benoit-Rhyno match to get over (nice pop for the Crossface, though) and they seemed kind of lost even during the HHH-Eddie match at times.

I had to keep telling my inner smark to STFU and that HHH wasn't winning the title.

The schmozz at the end reminded my of the early nWo schmozzes at the end of Nitro, back when they were good. I think Robert Duvall and Sean Penn should have come out at the end to break it up, although that would've required Duvall to be resurrected, since he got waxed by Gerardo (RICO SUAVE~!) in the movie.

And the unanswered question of the evening: Has the Big Show made it to the ring yet?

I'm hoping for Ralphus. Just the tales he could tell about life on the road would provide pure entertainment. Plus, Ralphus goes to a board of directors meeting could just provide sheer pleasure. Or, if they were really trying to do it to piss off Heyman as justification for the return of ECW: Mr. James E. Cornette.

Why is TVLand stealing my ideas from DEAN's Workrate Report's? They had to be stealing, as I thought I had the only demented mind that could put Bea Arthur and Abe Vigoda in a sex scene.

Long or Cornette would be two good choices, but I don't think Cornette would be agreeable to the amount of travel (I seem to recall hearing something like this in a radio interview a year or so back). Long did a fine job when he subbed for Bischoff a few months ago, but I think he's a more effective manager.

I'm with Mayhem on this one, I'd like to see Regal.

A very good RAW, they did a lot of good sports entertainment stuff to go along with a good HHH-Eddie main event (c'mon, they're not going to give away a championship match like that on free TV with a title change/clean finish). I was pretty surprised to see the pop that Batista and Flair got when they won the titles... tag wrestling is pretty much dead for the time being with two more tag teams being broken up, but oh well. With the brand extension, I doubt that tag wrestling is high on their priority list... they have to fill their PPV slots as much as possible. There was NOTHING on the net about potential candidates to be drafted, so I was surprised by all of them... caring, no, but still surprised. HHH going over to SD means a potential feud with Cena, Undertaker, or Eddie before leaving to shoot his movie. They're planting the seeds for a Michaels heel turn pretty well right now, and Benoit-Michaels is a match that should be pretty damn good.

I was a little surprised by that too, although it would seem pretty dumb for Undertaker to be in the SD locker room with a blue t-shirt (although it seemed odd for Kane just to be standing around when he's a PSYCHOTIC MONSTER BY GAWD).

I would like to take this time to gloat. Thank you. Ahem.

I would like to take the time to, but I won't because I really don't care to hear what anyone else thinks. RAW this past Monday has made me bullet-proof to anything anyone says against me.

I can say the sky is green and Dusty Rhodes does the bionic elbow in the clouds...and no one can disagree.

What am I talking about?

The thread I posted about the WWE Title being the main event at WMXX and how HBK just weaseled his way into the match because of his cock and ball contract with vince... entitled "Well, the WWE Went and did it..." Which, to everyone else, was sooo wrong and not based in anything but my own disdain for everything WWE. Totally disregarding the fact that I am one of the few people on ANY wrestling message board that backs up his comments with actual facts, quotes, and figures. But I digress.

Bulletproof my friends. Bullet....proof. I am Superman.

Next time, ya'll best bring kryptonite,(I can hear those comments already on that last line).

Eagerly awaiting those snappy and clever comebacks and "facts," as to how I am wrong or an idiot,

Yours truly, from the ONLY wrestling Mecca, Minnesota...

PS-- As a matter of fact, private message me your comments on my being right...All jerkiness aside, in consideration of not flooding this board with flames against me and going off its intended topic, just do it privately. Thanks and I really don't mean to come off as a condescending fool...I just play one on the boards.

Later.

Haha...Bulletproof, my man. Bulletproof.

BEFORE, they had meaning because otherwise, people wouldn't really have cared to show how much I was wrong.

NOW, they have no meaning and never had any in the first place because I am right.

Seriously, can anyone ever win on here? Or does everyone just hate to get shown up? I'll take the latter. Everyone should be more like me and say when they have been bested. I've done it before on here, c'mon I know everyone else can too. Be like the Maniac, everyone.

I win on this one, my friends. Just give me my moment, and we can move on.

Oh and about the incoherent ramblings...I'd go with the Ultimate Conservative...er, Warrior.

A good heel always believes, now matter how stupid what he is doing is, that deep down he is right.

Your Instant rating of 0.85 would suggest that you haven't quite reached the upper echelons of heeliness. A rating a 0.3 by your 100th post would be a good effort. Or will it got the other way? And you will become the heel who is too cool to boo?

Only time will tell. Bravo!

Um, really, what the fuck are you talking about? WHAT had meaning? Really, make a statement that fucking relates to the topic, and incorporate whatever "point" you are trying to make. Saying "I was right! BLAH BLAH BLAH" doesn't really say anything, or reiterate your opinions.

EDIT: (I had to go find the post you were blabbing about earlier, four pages or so back, since nobody has really repsonded to it much)
ANYHOW, the title on RAW is the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Not the WCW title. Besides that fact, WCW is no longer in existance, so, that belt may as well be the old AWA silver platter, since it doesnt really matter WHERE it came from, it matters WHAT it stands for, which is, the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

If you wanted to use your "logic" about belts, the SMACKDOWN version isnt a WWE belt either, sine it was a MERGED belt between WCW and WWF.

But, whatever, if the use of a belt that was used in another promotion really bothers you that much, perhaps you would be better off not watching. This whole monday night thing that we all sit and talk for hours on end about, its all make believe! It isnt real! Just thought I would let you know!

I may have to start a new thread to get an answer on this, but WTF was with Edge spearing Bischoff, then claiming the ropes and yelling "THIS IS *MY* DAMN SHOW!"? Edge's show?! Did I miss a memo? Was anyone else scratching their heads over this?
