Any clue as to which belt it was? Looked like the OLD (real old) National or US title from NWA days.

I was under the impression that it was the old WWF Tag Team Title belt circa WrestleMania I.

I don't really understand how that would be a 'fuck you' at all to the Rock.

The contracts for airing promos for the movie were probably signed months ago though. The WWE probably never thought for a second that the Rock would leave them.

Also, WWE's ad sales for RAW are probably done through Spike TV or Viacom. It doesn't matter [(c) The Rock] if he's still with them or not.

I think the "fuck you" was in that they didn't say "... and Be Cool staring The Rock" just the movie name and nothing more.

Not just bad guys but all of Hogan's rivals. Except for Jimmy Hart which I think means for sure that Hogan is going in.

I'd say they're trying to induct everyone associated with the main event of WrestleMania I: Jimmy Snuka's already in. Hogan, Pat Patterson, Muhammad Ali & Mr. T aren't. And Orton, Piper & Orndorff are in this year.

Who else would like it if they put Mr. T in?

It's not like the movie stars The Rock. He's a supporting character.

Blade 3 didn't actually star Triple H.

True, but Triple H is active wrestler playing a villian, while The Rock is an inactive wrestler playing a gay bouncer.

I'm not so sure the WWE would want to promote this role for Rock, regardless of their relationship at the moment...

A couple of thoughts:

HHH figures Evolution has a problem in Batista, so he hired The Problem Solver to drive the Limo. This could also set up an angle that sees Tomko getting tired of riding the Captain's coat tails, so maybe he'll ride Evolution's coat tails instead... with the end result being... gasp... Captain Charisma turning face!

Or,

HHH figures that Evolution is losing a big musclebound bodybuilder, so they've found themselves a new one in Chris Masters.

Or,

Could've actually been Bradshaw, though that would be bad. I really don't think too many viewers want Batista to jump shows.

Maybe I missed it being mentioned, but did nobody notice the wet car tracks jumping the curb, foreshadowing exactly what was about to happen? Every time I saw the outdoor shot, you could see how they'd either rehearsed a vehicle jumping the curb or that it was waiting off-camera.

Mr.T would rule! And don't forget the Rock'n'Wrestling connection, Cyndi Lauper and Wendy Richter with Captain Lou Albano!!!

In my eyes, none of the Smackdown matches (with the exception of Guerrero/Lesnar at No Way Out and Guerrero/Angle at WrestleMania) have had a "Big Match Feel".

Yeah, cause of Fuckin' JBL. i cant wait like everyone else to finally see either John Cena or Batista win the title at wrestlmania

I'm not convinced that John Cena should win the title. Obviously I'd like to see the belt get off of JBL, but I think Cena's the wrong guy to push into that position. How about Booker T instead?

Not that I really watch, or care about, SmackDown.

As much as I'd love to see Book get another run at the top, especially in WWE where he hasn't had an opportunity yet to do so, I think they've botched his chances. Does anyone else think the time to put the strap on Booker has passed? He could maybe get away with being an intermediary champ, a stepping stone to put someone younger over, but his time for a solid and believable run were buried with his feud with HHH on RAW and by a string of failed attempts and wonky turns on SD.

Unless they did something major with his character, something that doesn't involve visiting a voodoo priestess, then I don't think this is going to happen.

He’d still be a better choice than Cena, though, in that he’s got an actual character with a bit of depth to him. People complained about a cartoon character like JBL being given the belt, but he’s actually increased his value as a character in the last year. Cena’s fallen far since the days when his heel promos had such intensity to them that the fans forced a face turn. He went playing a heel Eminem to a babyface Kriss Kross with as much depth as Simon Dean.

Trish just wasn't wearing her pushup bra as she normally does whenever she's on TV, and as a result she looked a lot more normally proportioned.

It sad/funny that she wears a push-up bra for fake breasts.

What about giving Booker the US title? Its a small reward but something he can use to carry a few more guys along.
