What's kinda funny is they aren't really hiding that the first episode of RAW was in January, 1993 so it's, like, an entire MONTH off of the 15th Anniversary, but I guess we can let that go.

And then there's this...

--Several more people have been contacted by WWE to appear at Monday's Raw 15th anniversary show. Basically, every name not under contract to TNA and not named Bill Goldberg or Brock Lesnar has been called. Oh, and Ole Anderson, but he was never on Raw to begin with. As noted yesterday, Dwayne Johnson turned down the invite.
(Thanks to: Dave Meltzer (

This immediately led to speculation from Seadawg at his place (

Now I know I risk a giant list thread coming out of this, but at the same time people have been known to lurk around here so if there's anybody YOU have on your "dream" list, and they're still alive, it wouldn't hurt (much) for you to share with us who YOU'D like to see Monday. GO CRAZY

If any cameo could lead to a one-shot match or a small feud culminating at WrestleMania, then bring me Sting. Just for the sight of him in the WWE.

Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"

Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"

Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

I think a list thread on occasion isn't that terrible if it gets it out of our collective systems.

Bobby Heenan, definitely. Jesse The Body, too (I don't think he was ever a regular on Raw, but I'm sure he's been on in there somewhere).

Spike Dudley (maybe with Molly Holly again!)

Does this mean that it's been five years since that ghastly Raw anniversary awards show? Hard to believe.

I don't watch WWE much these days, but I'll probably tune in for this.

Al Snow and Steve Blackman.

Maybe even throw in Test so that Mick Foley could have all of them together to make fun of.

I would also like to see Al Snow again, and considering Vince name dropped him this past Monday it doesn't seem entirely out of the question either.

Count me in for a bunch of names already mentioned: Snow, Blackman, Lita, Spike, Molly, Muhammad Hassan and, of course, the Macho Man.

Making some additions of my own: Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Papa Shango (if they bring back The Godfather, they might as well dust him off, too), Rick Martel, and Aldo Montoya.

Numbers don't lie. Joe Morgan does.

A dream list would have to include Macho, Bret and a Austin-Hogan confrontation for me.

I too remember the horrors of the 10th anniversary show, so I will not get my hopes up for this one too much.

Kind of a shame Dwayne couldn't spare a minute for the show that propelled him to worldwide fame. I understand not wanting to be associated with WWE these days, but would it really be that bad to appear, say a few words thanking the WWE fans, insult Michael Cole or Coach, and walk on back to his limo?

And really, without John Wayne Bobbitt how can this be a true celebration?

I'd love to see just one more crazy Warrior promo.

Also topping my list (in no particular order)and why I'd like to see them

FakerTaker...just because

Rick Martel...bring back "arrogance" cologne

The Mountie..."I am the Mountie!"

Tugboat...he just looked silly before his makeover, I'd love to see it again.

Honkey Tonk Man...Just so I can read posts by people stating how out of shape he is.

As far as a wishlist, give me:

Of course, I'm misquoting him here, but the journalists in Qatar seem to have taken the same liberties. This story is interesting for not only the usual reasons, but to see how WWE is covered in a far-off land where English (SPOILER ALERT)
