Yes, McMahon must be able to override Randy -- he's always been able to override any GM.

But it's like, let's say you're the manager of a retail store. The boss comes in: "This is the way you're going to do this." You say, "Uh, okay."

Later, a problem arises. You say, "Boss, this thing you did caused this problem." The boss says, "Hey, you're the manager -- YOU deal with it."

Makes perfect sense to me. McMahon's a dick.

Thank you...on at least two fronts it makes sense...dear Randal screwed up announcing this a WEEK earlier that story lines were supposed to be or something that affect. That's the speculation if you read between the lines in the Edge thread. Next, Karlos, is 110% correct. Vinny has always been able to over rule something from GM's plus after he did it he didn't want to do it again because Randy was GM and he pointed it out in that backstage segment. So, at the moment, Vinny was playing a dick boss so he could do something to correct a situation he didn't see as right and then went about no doing anything else the rest of the night. Bravo, Karlos.

What no he didn't.

"on at least two fronts it makes sense"

Sure, but I think it's the company chickening out after a Huge Show-Ending Announcement that's the matter at hand on account of it shows they do barely any longterm planning. Which is to say: when they announced a world title battle royal, it was not with the idea in mind that Vince would be overruling it. That was an ass-covering to change horses in midstream.

Did everybody read Justin's RAW report over at the LAW/WO? Todd Martin WHO? Skip to the bottom for the rant.

(I have to confess the only reason *I* came upon it is someone crossposted the juicy bits to r.s.p-w (groups.google.com) using Justin's name in the subject - always a wise tactic to get me to read it)

Looks like Chris Jericho is going to be "booking" his band on RAW this coming Monday.

Just watched the tape of Raw this Saturday. The battle Royal was long, about 20-minutes. My favorite part was when Eugene eliminated Maven, then jumping and clapping with joy (talk about insult to injury lol)... 3-way for the World title, decent match. Imaginative ending but having two double pins/finishes with the Battle Royal & the match is a bit much, but could be interesting what the resolution can be.

The diva match is just bad. Around 5-minutes of heel double team Victoria with very little imagination. I don't think Victoria did one wrestling move, it's hard to believe this is the same division that I used to tune into Raw just to see, looks nothing like it. BTW Lita when you see your less popular partner being worn down slowly by the heels, you CAN at least try to get the crowd behind her. Lita comes in & steamrolls everyone single-handily, bland... Speaking of, Randy's lingerie show. Once again proves why Randy is just not the Rock. Rock had that talent to laugh this thing off & connect to the fans, Randy comes off too obnoxious. As for the women, this is what the once great Raw divas are now at. You get rid of talented women & replace them with CMLL ringwalkers. Just what wrestling needs, Stacy X 5. I like Stacy, I don't want 5 of them though.

Was I the only one with a problem with after Eugene & Regal win they had kids flood the ring which was just one segment after the diva tramp show... Whenever Lawler wrestlers he reminds me of Humpty Dumpty, I especially laughed when Flair clipped his knee and he fell like an oversized mascot egg on his side.

smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19

I'd by far rather watch Lita wrestle that that lingerie rubbish. Apart from Stacy, they all looked very wooden, and as a whole was totally pointless.

I found it odd that people are talking more about TNA than talking about whether Beniot or Edge is champ. Or have we all come to the realization that HHH will still be champ no matter what tonight even though they had an entire month to get it off him? How cynical have we become
