I thought Batista got a pretty decent pop/welcome for his return and I (and obviously a lot of people) am glad to have him back. I thought the chant for him got fairly loud and he was obviously popular. Then, duuring his talk with Orton, Big Dave says he's after the belt and that he's going to win the Royal Rumble on Sunday *pause for cheers*
Except, then, the crowd sat on their hands. It's as if they all said, "Welcome back, we're happy to have you, kick Orton's ass, and - wait, uh, what? No. Daniel Bryan's winning the Rumble."
I think the fans will go berserk if anyone other than Bryan wins. Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe Punk, but otherwise no.

I read it as they were drained of all Batistabration. He milked it and wrung it dry for a LONG time. I thought he was aping Jericho's silent-return gimmick for a moment.

Can someone look up how many times we've seen Hardy/Henry in the time since Hardy was drafted to RAW? Cause it seems as if its been about every week. And if it isn't those two its Henry/Finlay.
