Using that logic, I bet Sting wins it.

WAIT WHAT

The ratings slide at this point is interesting. We can't think they're continuing to (presumably, assumedly, not-based-in-knowledge-or-prolly-facts-edly) blame Bryan and Punk, et. Al for the slide? Maybe Big Show? I hope they don't punish Xavier Woods for it.

There was a pretty big MNF game even thought it was done by halftime plus holiday week, I guess.

    Hmm.

Don't read too much into this. The whole show will hinge on how special guest host Paul F. Tompkins As Werner Herzog gets over with the live crowd.

Yeah, gotta think Daniel Bryan is going to win Superstar of the year. He had a strong tag title run, beat John Cena, and technically now has two WWE title reigns under his belt. Plus, this is the "Stick it to the man" narrative where the fans decide "Face of WWE" and management gets all pissy about it.

Match of the Year is probably going to be Punk/Lesnar since WWE.com already declared that one of the 25 Greatest SummerSlam Matches with No Historical Perspective not even 24 hours after the event. Personally, I really liked Cena/Bryan and Cena/Punk more, but I'm guessing it's in that wheelhouse.

Is Total Diva of the Year specifically limited to Total Divas? If so, Natalya. If not, AJ.

Double-Cross of the Year: Heyman turns on Punk. HHH/Orton on Bryan is also very close.

Don't care about the other categories. OK, I don't care about any of them. At least we know a little bit about RAW a week in advance this time.

Turns out "Total Diva" isn't so singular- Bellas & Funkadactyls both nominated as one. Kaitlyn & the Anti-Total Diva AJ nom'd, as is Eva Marie which I'm sure all the other divas are really happy about- especially Shapiro's favourite JoJo, the only Total Diva NOT nominated for the Total Diva Slammy.

Close.

John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Brock Lesnar

I guess ADR's endless reigns were as forgettable to them as they were to me. Is Big Show being nominated for last year? He was gone from May to August and then all he did was stand around and cry. Will Punk and Bryan split the app vote and let Cena take it?

Match of the Year: Cena/Rock (kind of obligated), HHH/Lesnar Mania (LOL), Taker/Punk (winner), Cena/Bryan, Punk/Lesnar. By merit, I hope they remember Cena/Punk on Raw. Throwing in Shield/Rhodes would be a nice way to recognize them, although that's in no way what these are about.

You don't say.

Undertaker vs. CM Punk (WrestleMania 29)
John Cena vs. The Rock (WrestleMania 29)
Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns (Battleground)
Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar (Extreme Rules)

Haha, Punk's match with Lesnar makes the political concession to the Game since he already had one nomination. Same, I guess, for Cena/Punk and Cena/Bryan. Who liked SummerSlam anyway.

That's true. And it's not like Tough Enough prevents the WWE from signing anybody else, such as La Parka or Norman Smiley. Vince has PLENTY of money, he can sign as many wrestlers as he wants. He simply chooses not to sign La Parka or Smiley.
