This was a truly terrible day. And after a day like this, I was really hoping to escape into this show. And what did I get for my troubles?

-An opening handicap match with Sheamus and Orton teeing off on Big Show
-Antonio Cesaro's U.S. title reign mercifully coming to an end, as his losing streak continues. It was ended by Kofi Kingston, who was also on a big losing streak. This company sure does love its losing streaks.
-Wade Barrett eating a pin against R-Truth, who hasn't been on TV in months.
-Kaitlyn and the Bellas having possibly the worst TV match I've seen in months, beating out...a DIFFERENT Kaitlyn match!
-Dolph Ziggler going right back to jobbing clean for no good reason...
-...against JACK SWAGGER! WHY IS JACK SWAGGER STILL IN THE TITLE PICTURE???
-Ryback monologuing backstage, when all he needed to say was "I want belt!"
-The announcers building up Ryback by pointing out what a loser he is and that he just makes excuses for constantly losing. Way to go, guys!
-CM Punk losing his smile.
-The complete and utter destruction of the Fandango phenomenon, because these idiots just CAN'T help themselves when they have a good, organic moment. Whenever they get one, they just HAVE to beat it into the ground until it's no longer cool. It took these morons ONE WEEK to destroy it all!
-And heatless match after heatless match after heatless match.

EDIT: Oh, and how can I forget the final segment? We got "surprised" with a Shield appearance...or we would have been, had the Crack WCW Production Team not accidentally flipped the backstage camera on showing the Shield getting to their positions.

You know what? I'm not in the mood to tear this show a new one tonight. Have at it. I'm done for tonight.

I thought they did a good job with Ryback tonight as he got real good heel heat when Cena wanted to fight him and Ryback walked out of the ring and then did nothing when the Shield beat down Cena and ray back did nothing. I thought they did a good job making the Shield look strong going into next weeks match Vs The brothers of destruction and Daniel Bryan. The rest was pretty darn bad. HHh Vs Lesnar three at the next PPV? Oh boy. Ziggler being a jobbing world champion because you know that worked out so well for Swaggr years ago. So Barrett h a good moment last week and goes back to jobbing and to a guy that means nothing at this stage. Who did Cesaro piss off to be jobbing so much the lst four months? Man the secondary titles mean less than nothing. All in all, a pretty bad show sans for the Ryback stuff. Gotta figure Kofi will soon drop the US title to Fandango.

I hope that the reason why they're doing HHH/Lesnar in the cage is to even out Lesnar's win-loss record since coming back.

Not a great RAW. Don't have a good feeling about Cesaro after tonight. I wonder why they're not running with him more.

CM Punk was great. Once again doing the most interesting thing on the show. I hope they give him something cool to do when he's ready to return.

Remember when Fandango was cool? The performer still has the goods, but wow, maybe Cesaro is dodging a bullet by not having his talents recognized.

Didn't mind the closing segment. Ryberg is still pretty "meh" to me until he takes his gimmick off of planet Earth and starts bringing a little bit of that Warrior/Hogan pizzaz to his character.

And yeah, that "backstage" segment was too long, although I did appreciate them showing every segment in their story to show that there's sort of a story here. Cool lighting on him.

I thought they should have broken up the Ryback promo like how TNA did the Bully Ray segments a few weeks ago. I was digging it, but even my attention waned as it went on.

I would have loved to be standing next to Vince and see his reaction to the complete non-reaction of the crowd to Fandango. It was almost uncomfortable to watch.

I literally cringe when I have to watch and listen to a de-balled Cesaro yodel. Please please have him stop doing that.

Ryback needs to tone down the over the top heavy breathing/snorting and facial expressions. He's trying way too hard. It just comes off as cartoonish and distracting.

When Ziggler got pinned, I said to my wife: "Do you hear that noise? That's the sound of the IWC imploding". Totally agree with Graves9 comment about how this worked out so well for Swagger long ago.

Ending was completely predictable when The Shield came out no matter how much drama the announcers tried to add to it.

Awful crowd. Bad show.

Heyman - awesome. Twice.

Punk - excellent. Brilliant demonstration of "less is more". Lovely contrast to the "pipe bomb" days. (And, see above.)

Cena - very, very strong. In spite of (The) Ryback's right nipple taunting John for that entire segment. Although it was probably wise to let his nipple do the talking, rather than to try to actually speak to Cena.

Six minute retrospective of The Ryback Story seemed like ever so much longer. Ryback is neither David Attenborough nor Bully Ray.

Nothing says viral media recap like an in-ring by ... freakin' oldfart Jerry Lawler ??

Hopefully Cesaro knew that it was all downhill from the point when they made him yodel.

This Jack Swagger experiment isn't going anywhere either. Play again?

I think Cesaro's losing the belt had to do with events earlier in the day, unfortunately.

Welcome to The John Cena SOS era...again!

No heel turn for Cena, whatever I got it. I knew (and several other Weiners) last week when Ryback attacked him that Ryback was going heel. Vince despises face versus face rivalries so much that the very idea of Ryback staying face and simply saying "I attacked you because that's how I ask for things. FEED ME S'MORES!" just can't possibly work in a main event. Despite how over he has been getting for the past few months.

Ryback's reasoning even makes sense. If a group of guys attacked a co-worker of mine I would at least try to call the cops or break it up, which is what Ryback did. Then the same guys start attacking me and my co-worker was around each time it happened and he didn't even try to call for help the co-worker would be considered a coward.

CRZ I truly do believe someone(s) in the WWE trolls this board, or one like this one. Cena calling Ryback "The Ryback" so often during the ending promo was too obnoxious not to be from The W.

Fandango-mania already getting beat to the ground. Ziggler jobs as World Champion to Jack Swagger? How must it feel to be a Santino, Cesaro, Kofi, or Zach Ryder work your ass off, have a strong fan reaction most nights, and never fail a wellness policy test and see Never-over Swagger sabotage himself and get every opportunity in the world to main event?

I think it has to do with them putting the strap on a deadmeat face for Fandango to beat.

We started calling him The Ryback here because Daniel Bryan was doing it on Twitter. Also, John Cena dates Nikki Bella and Daniel Bryan dates Brie Bella in real life. So.

Posted elsewhere, and it really encapsulates why I'll be checking Raw results on line from now on

''Cena/Ryback... this segment is what hit me like a ton of bricks and despite having to put up with years of similar garbage, it only really hit me hard now. Everything revolves around Cena. It always does. We're back to where we were two years ago before the Punk worked-shoot. Cena's the top guy, and no one else is within his realm. Punk is gone for the time being. Sheamus is a failed top face attempt. Del Rio never had a chance. Orton they're never going to give a chance to again with the two strikes he has. The only chance we had for change and someone taking the top face spot allowing Cena to turn heel (after Punk turned heel) was Ryback... and he just turned heel. Cena, despite always having these teases of turning heel, never actually does. This time I didn't buy it but it doesn't make it any less disappointing. Cena has conquered his rivals in Edge, Randy Orton, Batista, and CM Punk. He's toppled legends like The Rock, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels. He took down the Nexus pretty much on his own. He remains the poster boy and the main event even when CM Punk is the champion, even in feuds against Kane, Laurinaitis, and The Big Show. Punk in their last portion of the feud in 2012 never solidly defeated Cena one-on-one. Cena, despite it being billed as his worst year last year, it was far from bad. Nothing came out of everything that has been built up the last couple of years. Cena's on top and we're back to business as usual. Ryback, a man who was built as an indestructible force who never backed down before, backed down to John Cena. Before The Shield's music hit, Ryback left the ring after Cena challenged him. Ryback, if there was any doubt before, is a heel, and he's a coward as every heel has to be made to be when dealing with John Cena. They've spun this to somehow making Ryback the bad guy and Cena the good guy. It makes me sick they take the man who was the most over face in the company and could've potentially taken Cena's spot, and turn him. They did that with Punk as well last year. Any threat to Cena's spot is neutralized with a heel turn/burial. Things aren't going to change. As long as Vince is running shit and Cena's good to compete, things aren't going to change. I'm certain Vince will keep Cena around until Cena's Flair's age (assuming Vince lives that much longer) and will keep him as the top face. Occasionally Cena will temporarily step out of the spotlight, but he's always going to be there to conquer all. Once Cena conquers the streak next year, we may as well rename him Alexander the Great. He'd have done it all besides beat Hogan and Austin, and while Hogan might not ever do the job due to it being too late in his life, if Austin somehow finds his way back into the WWE, I guarantee you he won't be doing the job to Punk, he'll be doing the job to Cena. Everything revolves around Cena''

Fucking ^this^

When they find a guy who they think can make them the same money as Cena in the top face role, they'll do it. Ryback isn't that guy. He was never going to be that guy. I'm not saying I want Cena as the top face still, but I'm not shedding any tears over them using Ryback like this and it's at least a fresh, credible guy for Cena to fight.

Also if a wrestler wants to get close to being on Cena's level in the WWE's eyes, he gotta be good on the mic.

That kills Ryback right there.

The problem is they had a guy who was a top face and he had to turn heel, because he realized WWE is never going to pull the trigger on anyone else. Fandanging was dead as soon as WWE.com got a hold of it.

This really was the Vince Strikes Back episode. Its also the reason, ratings will plummet this spring. Snoozefeast in a cage sounds terrible. It is amazing that TNA figured out how to explain a massive heel turn correctly, but WWE cannot. Ryback has legit gripes, yet it looked so forced and went on forever.
