I thought Heinekenrich mentioned that "Little Johnny" was back at home or something... so unless he's got one of those fancy high-tech detachable penises, Little Johnny's something else. And his finisher looks similar to Bryan Adams' finisher when he was Wrath in WCW... a twisting Rock Bottom/Bookend/uranage(sp?) variation. JR didn't call it as such because he's either an idiot who can't make a good call any more, or because he didn't want to sell a guy's finisher as a rip-off of someone else's. I'll give 50/50 odds on either one. (:

Oh, and have I just tuned out JR and the King that well over the past few weeks or were they REALLY, REALLY going to moronically ridiculous lengths to bash France tonight?

Best moment of the night was the final shot, Jericho perched atop the cage, watching the carnage, bloody and laughing. It'd have been much more than just a cool visual if Jericho were the actual mastermind behind his team instead of Bischoff, but it was still damn cool.

DAMN I'm sick of having the soldiers shoved down our throats. I didn't appreciate it when they were none-too-subtly trying to convince us the Iraq war was a good thing (hell, La Resistance was CREATED off of that idea), and I don't appreciate it now. I came here to watch wrestling, not fans, regardless of what they happen to be wearing or do for a living. BTW, did anyone find the faces attacking La Resistance for doing nothing more than waving a flag rather offensive? Not that this entire gimmick hasn't been ...

I do still like Rene's dance though.

I missed the first half-hour or so, got back just in time to see Shane McMahon go over another wrestler. And it's Test, who I've just started actually enjoying. Bastards made him hobble out just to job to frickin' daddy's boy. Must give Shane props for the sweet-ass trashcan DDT. This segment went far, FAR too long.

Ambulance Match, huh? I must agree with the sentiment that this is kind of a lame payoff, considering everything the two of them have done to each other ... they've BOTH been hospitalized already, what's another trip? I'm much more interested in Raven's Gallows Match over in NWA, plus I won't have to pay $30 for it.

BTW, Shane's mic work blows compared to Kane ... which is impressive, since Kane wasn't allowed to talk for a couple of years there.

Women's match was a decent row with bad camerawork. Totally missed Gail's guillotine legdrop on Lita ... at least we had someone go over other than Trish. Forgive me, but I've always enjoyed Lita and I think she could have a good feud chasing Molly's title, if they don't go for the Survivor Series title change.

Y'know, I'd love to see Stone Cold do the "c'mon, hit me, free shot" to Bischoff sometime ... and then Bischoff gives him a kick to the head and knocks him the fuck out. Much like the Blackman/Bradshaw thing. Or hell, ANYONE knocking him out. Just anything to take this asshole down a notch.

Is it just me, or is Terri shrinking? Or were Jindrak and Cade standing on boxes? It just seemed like Terri was having to stand on her toes just to get the microphone up near their mouths, and I don't think they're supposed to be that tall ...

Shawn still rules, and if anyone can carry Mizark to a good match, it'll probably be him. The backstage segment was kinda strange (let's see, who ELSE can we fit into this segment?), but it gave Teddy Long mic time which is a VERY good thing. Belie' dat.

RVD/Jericho was pretty damn good, though it was a crappy ending to the "first" match ... Jericho could at least have gotten a semi-clean victory, as it is he just looked so weak that he needed BISCHOFF to help him. Austin restarting the match as a cage match was the first thing he's done in weeks that hasn't made me want to punch him (other than Stunnering Stacy ... anytime she gets roughed up is a good thing IMO), and it really got cool after that. Lots of cool spots using the cage itself, and it's interesting to see the heel get his head slammed in the door for once. RVD regains the title and Jericho now has the dubious distinction of having the shortest (non-Hardcore) title reign in WWE history ... 10 minutes or so, wasn't it? Anyways, I kinda enjoyed the clusterfuck at the end, with Booker T flying off the top and Jericho reclining at the top the cage, looking down with blood all over his forehead.

Alright show I suppose, fell very flat after the awesome effort they put in last week. Is anyone else praying that Vince will somehow decide to let Team Bischoff win at Survivor Series?

Keeper, you are right about the Lance Cade thing, I heard it too.

Also, it's a bummer what they did with Storm this week. He gets mic time and a high profile pin on Y2J in a tag match a couple of weeks ago, and last week he was in a great tag match....now a no contest where he gets his ass whooped by Mark Henry? Somebody save this guy, please...he's too good to be misused....

Actually, I think that Andre the Giant has a WWF World Title run of less than a minute when he sold it to DiBiase after winning it in 88.

It's not you, she's just incredibly small. I had the luck to walk by her at the Royal Rumble last year in Atlanta and I'm not a tall guy by any means but I still made her look miniscule by comparison.

As for the show tonight, I thought it was a pretty good effort. Highlight of the night is definitely Teddy Long calling any white boy a "cracka".

The Women's match tonight - man, they were all looking really fine. ESPECIALLY Molly! About time they let her look good instead of dressing like a dowdy old lady. It was really nice to see them all play off each other, with talent and developed characters.

I like the effort they are putting into Team Green. This is all starting to come together nicely on the undercard, giving everyone some time to shine and some stories that feel like they matter. Of course, that appears to be from necessity as their main event players (Goldberg & HHH) were out for the week.

A pretty good show tonight. Anyone else laugh at Teddy Long's Heart Break Cracka line?...RVD v Jericho was a pretty entertaining match both times, though Bischoff missing his mark kind of took away from it....The Shane/Test match should have only lasted a couple minutes. That way Test wouldnt have had to shout come on every 2 seconds for 15 minutes....I think people may have the Kane/Shane situation backwards tonight. It kind of reminds me of a movie where the "hero" constantly attacks an unstoppable monster, calling him out, trying to gain the upper hand. The monster does nothing, but when they finally do fight, the monster destroys the "hero"....Jindrak/Cade are starting to impress me, and their booking is starting to look real good. I am starting to wonder about SS though as Raw has 4 matches, and I thought we would see Evolution vs Jindrak/Cade/Maven. However, unless Smackdown only gets 3 matches (which they have right now), or SS is given more than the standard 8 matches, then these guys will be left off the card.....Molly was smokin' hot tonight....Heidenreich was OK, but this little Johnny thing has wrestlecrap written all over it.

Batista has a great speaking presence. Calm, clear and comprehensible. Not the IAMSOANGRYIWILLKEEEEELYOU! voice I'm used to from a WWE monster. He's more a character than a caricature because of it.

I actually feel sorry for Rico and wonder why they just don't team him up with Goldust for a weekly Queer Eye for the Straight Midcarder segment.

'Cracker snake' and 'The Heartbreak Cracker' are perfect signature quotes. Teddy instantly makes RAW a better show. I would have prefered Lance get a pin off the HBK interference though.

Rob Conway and Hurricane appear to have a great singles match in them if they get the chance. John was rushed and boring. His killer move: the sambo wedgie. A John Bottom.

Test/Shane had the pumphandle/DDT reversal going for it but the rest seemed improvised to fill time. Very slow, and I was cringing that Test was gonna get hurt worse. Does this mean Test is obliged to run-in during the PPV match?

Trish again employs the spinebuster with more gusto than Batista. Victoria looked great as always (and kills Lita dead with the Widow's Peak) but -- Holy Holly Hotness, Batman! -- Molly does the champ staredown with not much verve, but a whole lotta style.

Jindrak/Cade and Flair arrive at the party wearing the same outfit and the Natcha Boy is pissed. Maven seems to gain definition by the hour.

You know, four years ago we woulda KILLED to see Jericho/RVD in a cage for a singles title. Thinking back to that bit of fanboy anticipation, I really enjoyed the match and was grateful the Eric interference prolonged the match (which waas your main event) to about 20 minutes.

I liked the show.

I, too, heard the "Lance Cade" comment ...

I never thought I would see the day, but I pit poor Test ... let's see, who did he piss off to be put in a 'Hardcore' match with a broken foot against the 'XPW midcarder' Shane? ... and how much did Shane have to beg him "Pleeeaaase let me do the Van Termintator on you." ... hopefully Kane will put Shane in the ambulance, only for it to drive away and not bring Shane back for a long, long time.

I wish the Hurricane was on Smackdown ... I don't wanna see him fight big guys ...

Speaking of big guys, Jesus, that John Heidenknocker suuuuucked ... and he looks old ...

Dupree & Conway are a good team ... just drop the whole French gimmick and repackage them.

Cade & Jindrak continue to improve in & out of the ring each week.

Molly ... mmmmmmmm ...

Sweet cage dive by Booker T ...

Can I ask one question? Why was there a cage last night? To simply boost ratings? No, sweeps starts in November right?

Do any of you think, maybe... just maybe... a slight chance... one in a million, thay could be hinting to The Match Beyond? I KNOW I can't be the only one itching to see War Games again! Please WWE, I beg of you! C'mon felloe Wieners that wouldn't mind seeing it-

-Evolution/Bischoff/Austin- This could have been okay if it didn't just drag and drag. Bischoff came in and acted disappointed to do swerve Evolution (ah that kidder). Austin comes in and does the hand in something comes up with the middle finger (I laughed when he did that to Christian a month ago, this time. Not so much)... They set up HHH vs. Goldberg for the next PPV, once again making a title switch seem meaningless because the former champion gets his title shot again the very next PPV (see HBK-HHH almost a year to a day). Why the hell tune in to see HHH lose the title if he's just going to get another opportunity if he does indeed lose a few weeks later.

-Booker vs. Rico- This was actually pretty quick and good even if they just went for 90 seconds... Jericho comes in and brings out a new member of Team Bisch it's Mr. Peeps they all beat on Booker until RVD comes out and makes the save to be on Team DTA.

-Henry vs. Storm- Are they pushing storm are not? One week he's looking like gold pinning Jericho in a Storm/RVD vs. Vitamin C match. The next week he's in the back just reading Lita's book. The week after even in defeat he looked like a total star working a great match at the 10PM timeslot. This week he's in there for under a minute to set up HBK/Henry... Sad little image as Storm laying on the ground selling a beating while Shawn is slapping hands with the military folks and walking right through him

-Heidenreich/Hurricane vs. Conway/Dupree- Strong stuff when Hurricane and Conway was in there, they both looked really good. Great underhook reverse DDT by Helms. Nice plauncha by Helms but also a nice. Amazing swinging neckbreaker from Conway on Helms (man I wouldn't mind seeing these two go one on one). Tag to Dupree he does my favorite taunt the prancing 2step, which Lawler calls gahy (Join us in this century any time Jerry). Heidernreich tags in and dominates cause he's a beat. J.R is in love with him. wedgie's bottoms (which sounds like a MXC game) is his finisher... More hamming it up with the military (again). They see the french flag which I guess in their eyes it's equal to the Nazi symbol and attacked.

-Shane vs. Test- You know what. Major props to Test! He was hobbling pretty bad but was respectable in there. I think he also did a good job playing up frustration with Kane no showing. I didn't mind Shane winning or getting offense because Test foot was in such bad shape. Nice powerbomb reverse to a DDT into the lid. Good back and forth action. For the 6 minutes they were in the actual match I liked it. I haven't liked a Test segment as much as this one in ages. Maybe since his feud with Shane over Steph. It's odd and strange how much I liked the emotion and match play out during bell to bell... The aftermath it sucked. Don't really know why the hell Shane needs to act like Mr. Tough Guy for punking out Test after he defeated him (gimmie a break). His speech afterwards about him being as twisted as Kane gimmie a break times 2). An ambulance match? You gotta stick some guy in a back of an ambulance. How umm extreme?

-Lita v. Gail v. Trish v. Victoria- Trish out first accompanied by Smilin Garcia(even more then usual!) Victoria comes out with Stevie in pigtails(hehe). JR earlier in the night called this a "main event", it went under 3 minutes. Odd we have Ms. Extreme Lita & Female Rey Rey Gail but Trish nowadays seem to be the only one they have confidence pulling off timing flying moves. Trish looked good doing her twisting headscissor from the corner on Vic also nice rollups on Vic until Trish fell victim to the vortex of doom when she was flinged into the barricade. Vic hits her devastating WidowPeak on Lita, Gail breaks up the pin and Vic gets rid of her. But SuperLita is up record time breaking free of Stevie and hitting Vic with a DDT for the win... Why is Vic taking the pin when the MFer(Molly Follower) Gail is right there? Speaking of, Molly looks like she dressed up as Steph when first hooking up with H

-Coach book review- Austin comes out and says "hit me". Coach says "No you hit me". Nothing clever or interesting in this exchange.

-Jindrak/Cade vs. Flair/Orton- Wow a lot of dropkicks and back body drops by the young guys. Ending came as Flair rolled u Jinkrak, Maven enters stage left, comes running to hit Flair and TOTALLY MISSES his fist over Rics head (Windmill Maven should play for the Brewers). Flair sells the gust of Maven's arm and falls back and gets pinned... Batista comes in and destroys Team Green and Windmill Maven.

-RVD vs. Jericho-P.1. After a missed lionsault, RVD goes for the 5Star and got some amazing distance but Jericho rolled away from it (instead of rolling towards it to get out). Jericho locks the Walls, Bischoff comes out to distract the ref as RVd gets to the rope, Jericho pulls him back to the middle and gets the submission (Hasn't the ref allowed the move to stay on many occasions when someone reaches the ropes and gets pulled back? oh well). Austin comes out and starts a rematch, Now... P.2. This was just a bit more exciting. RVD getting Y2J stuck between the ropes & cage and hitting a standing rolling thunder (I guess) and a stiff heel kick. Y2J did a hairgrab bulldog from the top rope with RVD. Lotsa heels beat up on lotsa faces during the end of the show. Well nice dive from the top by Booker

-OtherStuff- Trish in a white sportsbra (goodness, I'm smiling). Jericho is leaving messages on her machine, yet 2 weeks in a row Stevie attacks her with no interaction with Jericho (had potential but I think the writers are clueless on what to do)... Lita talks to Christian who talks about their past relationship (since when?)... The reaction of Hurricane to "Little Johnny" is a little concerning... Team Green with Terri, HBK does a walk in, Teddy Long does a walk him and ask him who he thinks he is. HBK points to his Jesus Fish. Teddy calls him a Heartbreak Cracker (I snickered)

-Line of the Night: Long "Heartbreak Cracker" and "Cracker Snake" - Couldn't help but chuckle.
-3Stars of the Night: 1)Test. 2)Hurricane. 3)Conway- Very odd trio I picked. But I thought they were the best of the night.

After 3 very good Raw's. This one very lackluster. Opening promo went too long. No clue if they have confidence in Storm or not. Women match had a lot of interesting scenarios they could have used, they used none and undermined the Widow's Peak after building it up so well against Trish. Bad ending to the Team Green/Evolution match... On the positives Conway/Hurricane looked great in there together (too bad the chances of either getting pushed are slim compared to Big Johnny). Test showed me so much this week, and Shane was good in the match, aftermath was lame. RVD/Y2J was okay but they didn't bring their A game, I didn't think. Just a disappointing Raw especially coming off such momentum of the last 3 weeks

I have absolutely no problem with Shane McMahon going over "real" wrestlers who have broken appendages before the match starts. Seriously, if anyone thinks this makes Test look bad, I just don't understand that.

Someone asked who the fifth member of Team Bischoff should be. You know, what would really make things work is if they could bring in someone from the WCW days who hasn't been on WWE TV in a while as a surprise member. It would shake things up a bit, put that guy into the thick of things, and make some historical sense. The only problem is, it's hard to think of people who would work in that spot who aren't already under contract or otherwise unavailable. Sting is the one name that would clearly fit, but of course it's far from certain that they could sign him. (And he's better as a face, and he's not exactly best buds with EB, but I'd overlook both of those if he could be signed and let him turn face shortly after.) Obviously Jarrett isn't coming to the WWE. There are guys who we smarks would love (La Parka, Crowbar) but who aren't well known enough to the general fan population. Maybe they could give Scott Hall another go? (What's up with him, anyway--I haven't seen his name in any of the indie reports.) Is there someone I'm not thinking of who would work in that spot?

The always controversial Scott Hall has been busted again. The former wrestling superstar, whose probation prohibits him from drinking alcohol, was jailed Sept. 19 for the third violation of his current probationary status. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that cage was only there to keep the Cage Match dvd (in stores now) in the back of people's minds. At least the ones who knew about it anyway. That way they have a decent cage match main event, and a better way to segue into "Hey King you know what's on sale tomorrow?!" However, I recall commercials shown for it, but I don't remember if J.R. and the King actually talked about it's release.

This may just be the Bret Hart fan in me saying this, but when HBK told Jindrak/Cade "You can make friends, or you can make an impact," was anybody else hoping that they'd nod their heads, say "Yeah", and then just beat the shit out of him? :)
