That main event was the most impressed I've ever been with Randy Orton. That high angle suplex into a neckbreaker was sweet.

You think WWE now is bad? Some of us had to live through 1993-1996!

How over would Goldberg be if they had jobbed him out to The Rock and HHH instead of letting him go over the biggest stars in the company? Even when Goldberg lost the title, it took two people to beat him. So yes, the company has put effort into getting Goldberg over. And WCW put even more effort into getting Goldberg over. If Goldberg had been treated just like any other wrestler, he'd be nobody today.

I don't know if they've ever once given Matt a full entrance on RAW. The closest I can remember was the one where they only showed one Matt Fact. On the last Heat, he had a full entrance complete with 2 Matt Facts and the stuttering effect of the "live" video as well. They went to the trouble of retooling his entrance for RAW, you'd think they'd want to use it more often. Maybe he and Christian should have a match where the winner gets their full, kick ass entrance back, even for interviews, ala HHH.

I'm pretty surprised to see posters here aren't all that pissed that they didn't deliver Foley after two hours of hype in his hometown. I guess we've all come to expect WWE not delivering anymore.

That sums up my feelings in a nutshell. Thanks, Dwaters!

After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure...
1)Ain't nothing like a Dirty Pair marathon on New Year's Eve.
2)I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II.
3) I'd make an acceptable Mrs. Orton.

What did they do to get Goldberg over? They pushed him to the top of the card and gave him credibility. They spent air time hyping him. Consider what it would be like if they did that to someone who is already over.

I still don't see why anyone cares about him. He isn't unique in any way. His technical skill is barely adaquate. HHH was right. I hate agreeing with HHH, but Goldberg is hype.

While I was watching the Matt Hardy / Goldberg match, I was mostly thinking "Isn't Matt doing a lovely job of selling for Goldberg & making him look good." Generic squash fodder isn't usually that skillful. With all that Mattitude, this will probably be the start of a feud.

Goldberg vs. Steiner next week. How ever will I be able to wait? [/sarcasm] Actually, it could be kind of interesting, in that car wreck way.

The HHH/HBK interaction wasn't total magic, but it did have some very good stuff in it. I did love HHH getting comfortable lounging on the furniture during HBK's entrance. You could tell that the crowd was hanging on every word of HBK's by their reaction to the kick to Coach. (It is so impressive how HBK can hold an audience.) The main thing that worried me about that conversation was the emphasis on "even just one second difference". If we're lining up for a "they both fall down at exactly the same time" tie, I'll be very disappointed.

(Looks like a new HHH shirt. "No Hype Necessary"? That might actually be do-able!)

Booker T's new music is incredibly bland, isn't it? That was quite the Battle of the Flaming Entrances though, with Booker's followed by Kane's. Maybe they were trying for a repeat of JR Flambe'. Nice, well-paced psycho-beatdown of Booker, & very nice sell by Booker.

Loved the second "Supporters of Randy Orton" spot!

If Matt was doing well selling for GBerg, Jericho was excellent getting a reasonable match out of Mark Henry! I was wondering where Christian! was. I'm sooooo glad Trish didn't end up unwittingly talking to Mark Henry in the shower!

Randy, Randy, Randy! Randy was all over the place, & did good! Good promos, calling out Mick. Good conversation with Evolution in the garage -- I loved that he was selling "Its cold out here!" :-) Great main event. Especially since he did seem to get legitimately whacked loopy in there at one point. NetHack mentioned that he thought Randy legit hit his head on the ringpost on that spot. I was wondering if it was sometime before that, & that he was just cruising on autopilot til he got over to the boards. There was an RVD kick to Randy's head several moves before that that I thought looked a little too convincing. Randy rallied extremely well though, & the match kept getting better as it went. I was very impressed with the boy!!

If you recall, the one they showed on RAW with one Matt Fact wasn't his full entrance either. I suspect that his entrance with the "web cam" effect is something they can't do live- they need the production time that Heat and Smackdown provide.

I thought that too, until I remembered that he had that entrance at Wrestlemania 19. (And a few other PPVs as well.)

HBK responds with "You were fantastic these four years, I can't deny it I was jealous. You carried WWE to great heights. But when I had the honor of beating you I was just a little more greater then your undeniable greatness". HHH replies "Yes you are still great, but I got a cheap shot in. I'm still pretty damn greater". What the Phuck is this? Jeesh guys just lay on the mat & 69 each other & get it over with... HHH says Many People think you should be world champion, many people think I should be World Champion. Are the folks HHH is referring to related to Many Backstage?

I have to agree. I thought this segment was way too long. They've gone over the HHH/HBK relationship several times in their last two angles. I don't need to hear it again. Personally, I would rather see neither of them World Champion, but what do I know.

Attempted murder... really. Do they give a Nobel Prize for Attempted Chemistry?

Well I guess I'll give WWE credit for that for not advertising Jericho for the night being there after storyline purposes he was to take off but he was advertised to be there and he was indeed at the CD signing, See... You gotta give them credit, they stayed past 2 am, they all look kinda tired LoL

So is Lilian that Long Island chick Christian talked about, how can she do that to her friend Trish! Or was she there just to separate Trish and Jericho and get in the middle of them
