According to his website (theraveneffect.com), Raven has shot a trailer for a horror movie he has been cast to star in. He says that's his post-wrestling career choice, and I'd imagine he'd do pretty well at it.
Thanks to FLEA for turning us all on to his site in the IWC 100.

What about him? What about Roddy?
I'm not sure about Raven's abilities because he seems to always be playing the same role. He had some lighter moments during the Kanyon "what a mark" angle, but that's only variance I saw.
You need to see his work in the Scotty The Body/Scotty Flamingo/Scott Anthony/Johnny Polo days. Entirely different character.
Ironically, I had the same opinion when I first saw him as Raven.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened. - The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
I've always thought that Raven was probably one of the top five wrestlers who could make it in acting, The Rock and Steve Austin who have both had acting successe are obviously one and two. I'm looking forward to seeing Raven in a movie, I think he could do well.
And thank you Dexley for pointing out his webpage, I was not aware he had one. I've read some of his journal and it's very enjoyable. Pretty cool to see that he likes some of the same tv shows as me. I can't really picture him watching Newlyweds though.
If it'd been Hogan, they probably would've done it. They could've setup Hogan/Lesnar III at the Rumble. If it'd been Benoit, maybe they wouldn't have. Vince generally won't push the "little" guys until he runs out of big guys to push.
