According to his website (theraveneffect.com), Raven has shot a trailer for a horror movie he has been cast to star in. He says that's his post-wrestling career choice, and I'd imagine he'd do pretty well at it.

Thanks to FLEA for turning us all on to his site in the IWC 100.

But can he match Roddy Piper's efforts in "Walker, Texas Ranger?"

What about him? What about Roddy?

I'm not sure about Raven's abilities because he seems to always be playing the same role. He had some lighter moments during the Kanyon "what a mark" angle, but that's only variance I saw.

You need to see his work in the Scotty The Body/Scotty Flamingo/Scott Anthony/Johnny Polo days. Entirely different character.

Ironically, I had the same opinion when I first saw him as Raven.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

You're right. I totally forgot about that.

OK, he's got more range than just Raven. I was wrong.

Don't forget his awesome solo of "Wind Beneath my Wings" on the Austin tribute night by the Allience.

I've always thought that Raven was probably one of the top five wrestlers who could make it in acting, The Rock and Steve Austin who have both had acting successe are obviously one and two. I'm looking forward to seeing Raven in a movie, I think he could do well.

And thank you Dexley for pointing out his webpage, I was not aware he had one. I've read some of his journal and it's very enjoyable. Pretty cool to see that he likes some of the same tv shows as me. I can't really picture him watching Newlyweds though.

I'd see a movie co-starring Raven. I think it has more promise than the horror flick that WWE Films apparently purchased to star Kane.

Glaaa! Hahahaha! KANE!? Jeebus! Vince, gimme a damn job! I'll take 32k a year and turn your damn company around!

I'd think Undertaker would be better suited as a horror-flick player, especially since he's (hopefully, supposedly) calling it quits in the next year or two.

Usually I like to chime in on discussions like this and speak my perspective, but I really do think the HHHaters topic is utterly hopeless.
