Gimmick of the Year. Bar None.

That was AWESOME what he did on Heat.

Also on Heat, D-lO officially turned heel. Heat's getting good.

I caught the tail end of Heat where we had a pretty good tag match with D-Lo and Future Heel Genius vs. TE1.

What did Raven do?

He was talking about his Masterpiece to a jobber. Then Raven asked the jobber if he wanted to share his lunch (Greed). The jobber agreed. Then Raven put the jobber's lunch on his foot. Raven said he'll give the jobber money if he was to eat the lunch. The jobber actually ate some of the food! Then Raven attacked the jobber.

That ruled. Too bad Raven's stuck on Heat.

I think Raven works best when he's a big fish in a small pond. That's why he's excelled in ECW and even part of the reason he flirted with success in WCW. When he started breaking through in WCW, he immediately got flushed down the toilet and when he reached the big time in the WWF...well...he was just flushed down the toilet without even being given a good push.

Don't tell me the man can't go, because I will remind you of his show-stealing match with Rhyno at last year's Backlash.

Hail the man who fought Vince McMahon and won! Hail the man who dared to stand up against shitty booking! Hail the man who stood by his principles! Hail the conquering hero! Stone Cold is coming!

Raven=Dark horse
he really is an underappreciated talent who could bring a dark and sinister presence to Raw that would make the show just that little bit more entertaining, this gives me a thread idea....

Putting on my fantasy booker cap. I'd have Raven stay on Heat and do five more deadly sins. Then have him do the seventh deadly sin on RAW but use that to introduce a Doug Basham or Damaja or someone like that and have him foil Raven's masterpiece.

I have a feeling that Raven's masterpiece will involve Seven from OVW, though I admittedly know nothing more about Seven than what's posted on OVW's website. Can you imagine the WWE as booked by Raven & a sober Jake Roberts?

Coincidentally, I've always heard that Raven's biggest problem in the WWE is his choice of lifestyle or some such. I'm presuming the problem isn't drugs because he seems to be in the best shape of his career now. Anybody heard any more specific rumors?

From what I understand, he's being held down because he has no desire to play the "backstage politics" game that certain other wrestlers seem to thrive on and choke the company with, but I'm not naming names in the interest of fairness. :)

The beauty of the Heat segment was that he actually let the jobber keep the money. I was just waiting for him to say "Everybody has a price for the Million Dollar Man".

Raven's problem the first time around was drugs but he cleaned up his act somewhere along the road. I think it was during his second ECW run when he got really fat.

Me, I was thinking Tiger Ali Singh, but you know if Tiger Ali tried something like that, he'd have wound up having it backfire on him somehow.

What the Flock is wrong with you people? Yeah, WAY back in the day Raven might have been somewhat original by ECW standards. He is so stupid he actually ASKED to be stuck on Heat. This is one guy that wanted to be held down so much that you can't even blame HHH . Now he does an act so bad that it makes even Tiger Ali Singh's Million Dollar Man wannabe shit look good by comparision. Gimmic of the Year? Underappreciated talent? Are things so fucked right now that people really are looking to Raven as a hero? (cue Gloria Gayner)

Drugs? Fat? He didn't play backstage politics so he got held down because everyone knows if you try to play backstage politics you get held down? What?

He sucks and he is fat. Semen has a lot of calories.

The not playing backstage politics tag is because he apparently is one of the few that speaks up about the dumb decisions on RAW and instead of just playing along like everything is great.

You showed your true colors at the end, homophobe.

Oh yeah? Well your are a... jokeaphobe. Yeah you are scared of jokes or you just don't want to take a joke in the ass. I mean some of my best friends are jokes. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

i thought it was a pretty solid debut, and that finishing kick was GOLD. i'm digging credible's heat-jobber work, he's looked good as well as making his opponent look good in all of his recent losing efforts.
