PWinsider -This week's edition of Raw did a 3.9 cable rating, with a 6 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is actually up from the 3.7 that they did after last year's Mania PPV. The show did hours of 3.7 and 4.1, with the highest rated quarter being the 4.3 that they did for the overrun.-
Raw did a 3.9 with hours of (3.7, 4.1) slighty up from last weeks 3.8(3,6, 4.0)... Not nesessary a great number considering it's the day after Wrestlemania. I guess we can all spin it to why. I got my own reasoning and chatted to a few that didn't bother catching Raw for one reason in predicular. Seeing the numbers the Christian Q-hour dropped a bunch (0.3 I believe) as before that storyline was always a ratings getter.
March 18, Smackdown Ratings
PwTorch -Thursday night's Smackdown drew a 3.6 rating, which is a big jump from last week's 3.1 rating. The highest quarter hour of the night was a 3.8 for the sixth quarter hour, which featured the end of Rey Mysterio's match with Shelton Benjamin, as well as Mysterio's match with Big Show. The rating dropped to a 3.5 during the next quarter hour, but rebounded to a 3.7 for the end of the Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero match.-
Smackdown did 3.6(3.5 3.7) went way up from the 3.1 of a week before... Considering they went up against the first round of the NCAA tournament not a bad number at all for the Smackdown folks.
Weekend Ratings
Velocity 0.9 (0.7).. Confidential 0.7 (0.6).. Heat 0.8 (1.2)... Velocity outdrew Heat! Even though Heat was nothing more then a one hour promotion show without even being in the arena. The Saturday shows had a jump most likely due to Wrestlemania

RAW is in a 3.6-3.9 range at this point, with very little shifting. SD probably did better as no Survivor, NBC was mainly in repeats and the early night window of the NCAA Tourney on Thursday was mainly 1 sided contests.
Why is TVLand stealing my ideas from DEAN's Workrate Report's? They had to be stealing, as I thought I had the only demented mind that could put Bea Arthur and Abe Vigoda in a sex scene. | jwrestle

I know, I know we don't have any alternative on Monday night now. Yeah, TNA is around, the closest competion is on Wednesday nights. I long for the days of 5.0 and actually I'm wishing for a 4.5 but I doubt I'll ever see it again unless they end up on a network or something. Not just a cable channel.

I know that for myself, I found it hard to tune in when I knew the storylines weren't really going anyplace. Sure I like good pure wrestling too, but the unscripted excitement of kids playing their hearts out to advance is just more fun to watch.
Kudos to Smackdown for bringing in and keeping the viewers. | Hurrikane757k

They still have to find some other things that will bring in ratings, but overall they're going at a slow and steady pace and building towards the future, and not hotshotting some huge-ass angle to try a temporary spike in the ratings (nWo, Alliance, etc.). | Whitebacon

Higher ratings don't necessarily mean better shows, it just means more people are watching. I'm not too concerned with the ratings unless they dip too low or; I'm not being entertained anymore, and I want to see if fewer people are watching along with me. Since I don't work for the fed, and I'm not responsible for finding and keeping advertisers, the numbers don't mean much to me. I think its nice that they're on a pretty even keel lately, and they aren't dropping to the floor, but it's largely inconsequential to how I view the product.

Maybe the wife of the player? In the context of baseball, felonies are crimes against society, not against baseball. In the context of baseball, gambling is the only crime against baseball.

As long as they keep the feeling of each show roughly the same it can't hurt to freshen things up. Afterall, remember how the rosters were shuffled constantly during the Monday Night Wars. Anyways, The WWE is far better of this year after WMXX than they were last year after WMXIX. That's amazing seeing as how they just lost a bunch of talent.

I know (I'm in a class that looks at weekly ratings) a few weeks ago RAW was the number one cable show with like a 3.6 rating. | hhhgamewmx7
