1wrestling -This weeks edition of Raw did a 3.7 cable rating, with a 6 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is up from the 3.0 that the “Best of” show did last week, but had to be lower than WWE expected due to them having announced a top name World Title match in advance and not going against Monday Night Football for the first time since summer. The show did hours of 3.5 and 3.9. The top rated segment for the show was the overrun, which did a 4.4.-
So Ratings did a 3.7 with hours of (3.5,3.9)... I have to agree with 1wrestling sentiment that it's not very good considering it's the first MNF free week of the year and they were reaching 4s easily before the Football season starts. Even though I really liked the main event and the second hour was good, the first hour was a bore and I still don't there should be any intrigued with a once again HHH champion reign.
January 1, Smackdown Rating
Smackdown did a 2.8 which is actually down from Christmas Eve 3.0. SD finished fifth among the six Networks. Fox's World Idol (4.3) really pushes them ahead of UPN/SD which is usually a dog fight... I guess being New Years Eve had some effect on the rating but it still seems a little low and when I put it up against other network numbers SD this week did lower ratio then it usually does.
Unfortunately I couldn't get the half hour breakdowns anymore like I used to because the Neilson Nazi's put the hammer down on the source that I used to get it from.
Again, thanks to your time and effort for compiling this stuff. I'm sure your spreadsheet-wizardry is amazing. Well, you could do a point-system, whereby Heat/Velocity matches are 1 point, Raw/Smacksown!
