Based on another thread in this forum, Big Show turns pretty regularly. Perhaps they could have him turn face.

He can play twins: Big Show, the happy face, and Big Deal, the evil monster.

I don't want Orton fired, because he has been pretty great the last year or so. I hope he can turn this thing around.

And so as to not double post in the Test Pattern thread, today's banner with a guy resembling Orton is almost as great as yesterday's scrambled eggs banner. Well done sirs.

I'd say this is a good theory. I think they'll just put Cena and Punk on Smackdown more (Punk is booked against Kane on SD the same day Randy is suspended - coincidence?). Orton had already been supplanted by Sheamus, so they haven't lost their center. They just need to fill in his starpower. Voila, SmackDown SuperShow. But it is good news for Rey Mysterio, who'll be back one month before Orton, since they won't have the option of spite-marginalizing him.

Normally I'd be all for it, but Punk and Bryan are supposed to feud all summer. I'd prefer to keep that.

Weird timing for me, as I just watched the Orton doc on Netflix last week. He and his wife were discussing his "demons" and how she and his daughter helped motivate him to clean up and mature. It was actually quite touching, not so much now.

The doc never really said what the demons were, but based on his change in appearance over the years, I would guess he has done a roid or two in his day.

I was not aware this was the current plan. I approve of this plan. I was just thinking that out of everyone available, Bryan thus far has received the most sustained exposure, push, and the crowd might turn him anyway,

Now would be the perfect time to turn Swagger face ... let him ride the All-American American gimmick right through to July 4th & beyond.

They've already planted the seeds to the his & Ziggler's break-up ... why not have Ziggler & his new bodyguard Mason Ryan destroy Swagger on Monday night?

I really have not been playing close attention to 80% of RAW. Last I remember, Mason Ryan was being courted by AW for All World Productions. Is AW still in business?

I think Mason Ryan has only been Ziggler's bodyguard on house shows, I guess as a tryout of the idea.

AW's All World Productions appears to have been on hiatus following Rosa's car accident. I guess she was the most valuable member of his clientelle?

I am never happy when someone gets suspended, but I can't stop smiling knowing it is Orton. I hate this guy so much that having him off my TV for a while will be a vacation for me. The day he fails tests #3 and goes to TNA will be a banner day for me.

Now, if the WWE will FINALLY get behind Swagger, Ziggler, the Miz and others and give them a legitimate chance to Main Event, I will be even happier.

of course, I won't hold my breath...

Life is hilariously cruel.

I used to dislike Orton too. Until he really started working his ass off on Smackdown this past year. He could've cried about being on the "B" show, but he consistently put on some good-great matches. His run with Christian was especially inspired work. He has gotten stale again, but that seems to be more of a creative problem than a Randy problem. He's not my favorite, but he's far from my most hated.

I get the urge people have to see Ziggler do something more. I agree with them. But I don't get the love for Miz or Swagger. Miz has never impressed me with work-rate, and his promos are one-note. Swagger won't see an extended run at the top, if only because he is terrible on the mic. Check 1-2 menacing lisp guy who does push-ups isn't threatening to anyone.

It’s so hard for me to sit back here in this studio, looking at a guy out here, hollering my name! When last year I spent more money, on spilled liquor, in bars from one side of this world to the other, than you made! You’re talking to the Rolex wearin, diamond ring wearin, kiss stealin, WOOOO wheelin dealin, limousine ridin, jet flyin son of a gun. And I'm having a hard time holding these alligators down!

Randerson's demons were more serious stuff than steroids. Is is true he talks on the DVD about overdosing in 2006? At the same time, failing a wellness test is not necessarily bad-bad. Hopefully it's just for a PED or a lapsed prescription or synthetic pot or something like that.

I can't believe that Hogan's My Dad hasn't posted in this thread yet. Or perhaps he did, hacking Wpob's account.

Nope. He did not get into my account. My hatred of Orton rivals but is not surpassed by HMD. And I still smiling...

Orton has really grown in the ring since he debuted. I thought that this was just a period where he kind of took a step back, but was going to be main eventing Raw again soon. Now, who knows?

I will say, despite all of the in ring growth, hopefully that has helped him grow as a person too. If you asked me which top wrestler nowadays was most likely to be a "sad story*" in 10 years, he'd be at the top of my list.

*sad story meaning not necessarily dead, but just a mess and not put together after being such a huge star

Am I taking crazy pills?!
Swagger won't get/keep a top spot because HE IS LAME.
His one memorable move is that corner splash, which my friend sweez calls the Big Idiot Splash.

Swagger ain't a bad guy in-ring, but that godawful lisp will keep him out of the WM ME forever. Glad it looks like they're turning Dolph, breaking up Vickie and Jack will get him his futures endeavored.

"Big Idiot Splash". That's funny. I prefer "Dumb Jock Drop", though.

If you are then we have the same dealer. Swagger is the epitome of vanilla in looks and mic work. Now if they found a convincing way to turn Le Miz I think his stock would rise pretty fast.

A few years back, when Austin was a heel, he defeated Jake 'The Snake' Roberts in the finals of the King of the Ring. Roberts had this new found religion and it somewhat parlayed over to his on screen character.
