Orton out means chances of Bryan making it to WrestleMania as champion have just gone amazingly up. Don't want count the chickens yet, but there's no way I could've thought this would happen a year ago. Didn't think it would happen five minutes ago!
Wow. Hobbled Henry, Khali, and Show will get crapped on by all the workrate whores, but these three could lead to very interesting spots where they break parts of the chamber in ways we haven't seen before.

That match might be a struggle now. Khali can't walk let alone do anything. Show and Henry work hard, but Henry with one leg needs to protect himself, and even if they're gonna do cool power stuff, they need people to move around for them. Orton was going to be carrying a lot of that match, now they're down to one babyface people care about and he's not really one for selling or long matches.
It's official, from wwe.com (wwe.com) No mention of who is replacing him, whether it's Mark Henry or someone else.
Looking over the depleted Smackdown roster, they are really hard up for replacements if it's not Henry. Hell, Khali is a replacement for Henry, who could be a replacement for Orton? A lot of guys are on the DL, including Henry, mind you. Booker T would probably a hard sell to get in that Chamber. I would think this would be a perfect opportunity for someone like The Miz to jump to Smackdown, but that would either mean he wrestles in two Chambers (and loses twice), or RAW would need to scramble a replacement for Miz. Even then, this basically makes Smackdown the All-Heel Elimination Chamber + The Big Show.
There's no rule saying Sheamus can't enter the Chamber in an attempt to try and get a Title vs Title match.
If they didn't push Ryder off of the stage I'd say he could jump in. Although there's a question in itself; is Ryder injured legit? The spill he took looked nasty.
Well, apparently it's a concussion injury. Has it been determined if it's a short term or long term concussion yet? I seem to recall the last time Orton had a concussion it was the week before going into one of his PPV matches with Christian last year and he was magically cleared to compete in time.
EDIT: Nevermind! Just checked WWE.com. Orton is 100% out of the show.
If Orton is indeed a scratch they could always throw Justin Gabriel in there. He's gotten the mildest of pushes lately, and he could do a few of the highspots that Rey and JoMo did in the Chamber last year.

Unless this bit of info from WWE.com is true and not just their "on screen explanation
"WWE medical personnel have confirmed that Randy Orton suffered a concussion on Raw SuperShow when World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan smashed Orton over the head with his title."
I hope the cause is something else. Who knows..we might even get Bryan retain at WM, and have Randy chase him when he returns (yeah, not likely)
Or it adds a bit of reason to make it a 3-way. "Bryan, you cost Orton the chance at a WM main event, so now the match will be you vs Sheamus vs...Orton! Holla Holla"
Attributing it in storyline to DB's beltshot is sensible, but it looks like Big Show lands right on Orton's head while taking the RKO.

yep. especially if that's where it was headed anyway with Orton getting cheated out of the Chamber win. now he just doesn't have to lose there.
Santino. Man. Maaaaybe Orton takes his place anyway, wins the thing, and D-Bry does the Jericho-Malenko Dusty Finish of claiming that as Orton wasn't booked in the match the win is null and void. Presto! Instant logical Orton/Sheamus/Bryan match for WrestleMania.
Orton seems to have rushed himself back too soon. I am sure he will find a way to get into Mania, its just going to take some creative writing to do so.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.
Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

This decision will help sell the PPV, you say.
It was 14 years ago yesterday when Shawn Michaels' replacement in a PPV main event was Savio Vega. At least this time they had the decency to tell people about the switch before the PPV started.
Let me ask this question: What is the difference between a character like Trish getting put through a table and another female character like Buffy or Xena getting beat up by 5 guys? Is it simply the way a character is portrayed? (i.e.
