The new random quote generator is a cool addition. I really like it, even if it did confuse me mightily when I first logged in tonight. Plus, it was kind of odd seeing an old quote from me as the second one. Is the selection weighted in any way or is it purely random?

After three refreshes there was a quote from me about how Brady & Belichick NEVER lose playoff games. I'm sure that was just a coincidence. (They were winning LAST year, though.)

Oh, I love it too. I'm fighting every urge to just sit here for the next hour hitting "refresh".
Is there any chance of them being moved to the top of the table like on the main page? I don't know if it's just me (and if it is, then fuck me I guess), but I'd love to see them right at the top instead of scanning down to the bottom of each page.
Somebody tell me if I get one on there, only if it's not me making an ass out of myself (unlikely).
Edit:
Pardon my ignorance, but how can you be three-quarters of a credit short? At my HS, they didn't give out partial credits or anything like that. - Whitebacon, Wow. I guess I'm kinda nervous....
Nevermind.
I just hope one of my extremely drunk posts doesn't come up.

This is a great addition, although not original. But hey, it only took five or so pages until I found one of myself trying to correct one of DEAN'S~ many spelling errors in the State Crossword thing he used to do. Good times.
I've hit refresh many many times, and about every third or fourth "nugget of wisdom" is from Grimis. Nice feature, but now I have to be careful of what I say.
Is there a size limit on how big a quote is eligible? It looks to me like its just pulling paragraphs, but is it possible that it might pull an obscenely long paragraph at some point, or will it just pick a line if the paragraph is too long, or will that quote not be eligible?
If I want to increase my chances of being selected, should I only use short paragraphs?
(edited by EddieBurkett on 22.1.06 0932) Indiana! Indiana!
It chopped one of my posts up, so I think it just takes the first sentence or two. I, too, am guilty of hitting "Random Quote" about a million times and then feeling stupid when I finally read something from myself.
This will get added at the end of each post you make, below an horizontal line. This should preferably be kept to a small enough size.
Looking at the referrals page, I'd guess (with my negative knowledge of the Internet) that we got invaded, for lack of a better term, by one website and an auto-register system.
