Well, I tested it on my work connection which is what concerned me. I think it is the Proxy that we have at work. We use ISA server for our web access. Once I went a different route (same computer) it came up fine.

I'm OK with that. Hammered isn't really supposed to be a work-safe site anyway. Still, I'm curious to know why it wouldn't load on the web proxy. As far as I know (and I should know) we don't block anything.

I think my answer should be excluded from whatever you were looking to learn. I'm betting it is being blocked by a corporate firewall. I just realized that I don't see anyone's avatar if it's hosted by Photobucket.

The part Guru is talking about is the PRAM battery. Instructions for resetting it can be found here. But, given the symptoms, you probably will have better luck trying a reset of the "Cuda" a.k.a. the Power Management Unit.
