On the occasion of my birthday, I’d like to take the opportunity to declare these few things about the WWE, without guilt or fear of condemnation on our wonderful message board here.
-I enjoy and miss Matt Hardy. I know he’s destined to be a mid-carder the rest of his WWE career. I know he’s involved with Amy Dumas/Lita, the resident succubus. But I like his style. I like how he evolved from being Jeff Hardy’s older brother and Lita’s real life boyfriend into a viable and marketable wrestler. I respect that. I like him and miss his presence on my tv.
-Christian is my favorite wrestler of all. He has been for a great number of years. This guy is just always ‘ON’. I can’t say there was ever a time when he did something that wasn’t amazing or entertaining or just plain great. He is one of the main reasons why I watch RAW actually.
-While I’m not a fan of scantily clad women rolling in gravy/gelatin/whipped cream… you get the point… I do respect the WWE Diva’s because they all had to endure some sort of training to do their watches. While I don’t watch them in their entirety… Well, sometimes… I like what I see from time to time, as far as skill.
-Speaking of Diva’s, I’m pissed about Jazz being fired. Sure, she might not have had ‘the look’ of a WWE Diva, but I don’t, nor did I ever see where she was deemed ‘unattractive’. The woman has an amazing body and her moveset is one to be envied. I think maybe she is just a victim of the WWE being too heel heavy with the Diva’s. I wish her a lot of luck where ever her career takes her. Oh! And when she smiled, she was actually quite pretty. But… she rarely smiled…
-Maven’s eyebrows are down right purdy, being shaped, arched and all…. I also don’t get this ‘Maven Hate’. The WWE invested in him, he’s a likeable guy, fans like him and his eyebrows are nice. I give the haters the benefit of the doubt on saying he shouldn’t be in the ring with HHH for the title when he’s only been in the business for 3 ½ years… But did they really think he was going to walk away with the belt?
-Is it just me, or doesn’t John Cena look even hotter with his hair a little big longer these days? The dimples always get me, but the longer hair is working. When he walked out for his match at Survivor Series… wow! That is all…
-Randy Orton. He's grown on me even more so now. I still think he has a ways to go, but I'm liking him more and more each day. People can say what they want, but it's nice to hear people pop for the RKO and the man himself. I'm also glad to see that he's doing 'The Pose' a little less.
-I'm not feeling Smackdown as much as I used to anymore. I'm not sure when it changed, but it just doesn't 'get' me anymore. I remember when I used to be mad at myself for missing it... Not so much anymore. Maybe one day.
Okay... That's all I have to say anymore, which really wasn't much to say anyway. But, it's my birthday and after the year I've had: Bells Palsy, Influenza, Break-up and now a lifetime of Multiple Sclerosis... I think I can just ramble for a bit. :)
(edited by Ticamo on 18.11.04 1325) Meg: Being a single mother is hard, but the real challenge is having a baby that's addicted to crack. Right Stewie?
Stewie: What's that? Oh yes, yes, I love crack. I'm absolutely cuckoo for crack.
Even though we didn't get any Sean O'Haire on Smackdown, at least we did get some on Velocity. And he actually got to work a proper match. Even though Funaki wasn't exactly an even matchup for him, it was still fun to get to watch the boy move.
