I can confirm the problem.
It is the policy of the documentary crew to remain true observers and not interfere with its subjects. "This topic is going to suck to read in three years." -Psycho Penguin "Well. Shit." -hansen9j

Sorry about that - looks like an instance of the post ID was replaced with the user ID instead. It's fixed on both the thread.php and threadx.php pages. (If it's anywhere else, please let me know the URL where you saw it.)
I've been doing some code changes recently - stuff we should have tackled years ago, probably - unfortunately causing some unintended side effects in the process, which hopefully I've fixed. The quoting/editing thing was one, ignore code breaks was another. The problems stemmed from some merging which duplicated fields which I didn't catch the first (or second) time around.
This is a long way of saying that the index, forum, thread, threadx, and newposts pages should now all load quite a bit faster, but if you happen to catch any further weirdness which may have sprung out of these changes, do continue to let me know so I can fix it.
This question reminded me of the Jeff Atwood post a while ago talking about different types of online community banning. Coding Horror - Suspension, Ban or Hellban Linked for your convenience. I especially get a giggle visualising the special hellban!
